Rented a 6 x 12 trailer. Pulled up to return area, waited a few minutes, someone finally came out and "Just drop the trailer there and you can go". I'm 65 those trailer tongues are heavy! plus I don't do this everyday - young man never offered to help.

We had originally scheduled a vehicle to be picked up at a more convenient location closer to where we needed to take it to be loaded. The guy checking us in generously added miles to our quoted commitment. The truck was ready to go but we had difficulty finding the truck at the location (of course the last one we found). We had to buy gas right away as it was almost empty

Your mobile app and after hours pick up were a complete and total disaster. The worst experience I've ever had trying to rent anything anywhere. I am STILL waiting for my refund. I was unable to procure the truck I had rented after about a solid hour of trying, and through NO FAULT OF MY OWN.

We quite literally had to loop in local law enforcement after the interaction we had with one of your employees. This was the worst customer experience both my partner and I have ever had. Please, for the sake of your business but more importantly your customers, keep your employees in check. We will never be using this location or U-Haul services again.

Uhaul app crashed several times during drop off. So many times I gave up on taking the needed photos.

I was given a trick with less than 1/8 tank of gas and told to put gas in it and if I brought it back at 1/4 of a tank I would get a $7,5 credit! What a scam. I was then given a truck with full gas tank after complaining. The last thing I want to do is drive a truck off the lot to find a gas station. And the storage facility was filthy.

The straps on car trailer straps we rented did not work so we were unable to transport the car we intended to. We got the trailer rent refunded, but still had to pay for the truck rental to pull it and gas. Not at all a satisfactory experience. We spent $100 for the truck and $43 for gas and had a thoroughly frustrating experience.

I reserved a dolly, but I cannot use this. The staff did not explain reason. Also, truck was very dirty. Nobody clean inside of truck. I can't recommend this location for other person.

Not to charge the customer $7,000. Because the vehicle was stolen before the uhaul personal could put it in the system.

The mileage listed on the agreement did not match the number on the dashboard, I realised this too late and hadn't taken a picture of it. Still feel kinda let down, though.

Pickup was so fast and easy. 8am on a Saturday but there were no other customers and I received great service.

The pickup truck I rented was nearly new. However, it was not washed (looked like the previous customer went 4-wheeling in it--all muddy) and the tires were low on air (I had to add air myself). I do appreciate U-Haul's simple and fast service; renting from you is always easy and quick. And usually the equipment is clean and well-maintained. But sometimes oversights happen. I can understand that. Thanks for all you do!

Truck share did not work for me and I had to go inside, and the employee said it rarely works at their location.

The U-Haul rep went above & beyond to help me. When i asked for a bigger truck he switched me out & helped get me on the road quickly! He was great!

Was not given the dolly or blankets that we ordered. And never got a refund. We're helpful with getting the trailer set up but disappointed that we did not get everything we ordered.

Only 2 furniture dollies available (of 4 requested), one was small/crappy but I doubt they have a way to update customers via the uhaul ordering platform.

There were several uhaul franchises in my neighborhood but I had to take the trailer to one downtown. The other locations would not let me drop it off. That's ridiculous and I will never use uhaul again

Replace the guy working at the 602 W Washington Ave location. He said he was the manager but I'm not sure. He was rude and not helpful, and messed up our order. Also, allow employees to view and make changes to reservations, and provide more operating hours for shipping services. Lastly, manage the customer dashboard in a way that displays correct and up to date information - that way, our boxes don't get shipped early (causing damage to our goods and requiring Uhaul to give us a Ubox for free). One last thing, if you're going to offer a free Ubox for shipping our Uboxes early, don't make me pay for the delivery of it.

My experience was terrible employees were very disrespectful and rude. I felt unsafe. One of them employees was saying very random and uncomfortable things. Overall I was not pleased with my experience at all I won't be coming back.

The gas tank was almost completely empty

The bed of the cago can was dirty and there were chip crumbs in the passenger seat floor area. Otherwise everything was smooth and I will rent from here again.

Several dashboard leds were lit, example: Check Engine, ABS Brake system and traction control. I couldn't see the Odometer mileage because of a warning message being displayed. The vehicle needed maintainenance

Location was overwhelmed and not inviting nor equipped to handle influx. Guy kept telling me I couldn't leave my trailer there even though they took trailers, said better if I take it elsewhere ir could get fined $300-400. Like a threat or something. I understand their lot was overflowing with returns but not my problem.

Paul (in Madison) was wonderful!!! The trailer I rented was very old, with many rusted parts…and did not have functioning trailer brakes. It should be overhauled completely or removed from service. Please don't rent this to other customers for $900, just to transport their vehicle 2000 miles.

Workers were courteous. Reserved a unit but none available despite reservation. Offered me a "cage" on the basement and it was horrible. Actually cancelled my reservation and luckily the nice employee understood and refunded me (still awaiting receipt). Wasn't desperate enough to use that dump and probably would have resulted in trashing all my things.

This was a great place to store things for my son while in college. Convenient location, easy access. So glad there was an opening when we needed it!

I payed for a parking spot for my car. You towed my car from the spot I payed for and did not contact me about it. You cost me thousands of dollars and would not answer your phone after calling repeatedly.

Moving day in Madison is so difficult, but the workers at this UHaul made it genuinely so much more manageable. They were consistently helpful and thoughtful, as well as thoroughly professional. They were happy to give advice when I asked and made the process go smoothly. I had a storage unit as well as a van and the storage unit was accessible 24/7 which made it so much easier to work after the heat of the day had subsided. The van was clean and convenient and ready immediately. Thank you, UHaul!

While staying in Madison WI for a couple months, I received a parking ticket from the city within only 48 hours despite street parking being disastrously short, thanks to unclear rules and zealous police. Melissa really helped me out with getting long term, safe parking at a fair price. Merci.

The employees were extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions. They were able to give me some great recommendations for how best to move my stuff into the storage unit. Plus the facility was clean and easy to maneuver in.

They show pictures of beautiful clean storage units with those bright orange doors. Most of their units are in the "basement" with concrete floors, mouse traps in the units, mold/water damage on the back wall of the unit, all in metal caged fences. When I walked in, the staff were rude to the customer in front of me. Told him "they only thing you can do is 800 Uhaul". I went up next, and was told my unit wasn't ready at 10am. Came back in 2 hours, still wasn't ready. Came back in 1 hour and finally was given my unit. The lady was friendlier by then. Another woman was on the phone with someone she knew and eating chips while customers were waiting. One workers' young daughter was in with a "sitter" hanging around. Then I saw this worker go out the front door and use her dab pen. My suggestion is a rental unit should be booked until the end of the month at 12am! Then the next reservation for the month starts on the 1st when they open! This place needs a little restructuring!

Parking my car here was great except one caveat. Sometimes they'd rent out spaces for event parking, so on those days when I happened to go out, sometimes I could not find a spot to park.

I want to note, the staff that helped me with my on Friday were friendly, helpful and professional. The guy on Saturday was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful to myself and every other customer. I moved furniture into my storage unit and the elevator doesn't work, which is something that should've been mentioned before I got the unit.

Only complaint I have is that I had to walk into the U-Haul facility to have my question answered. The phone tree for this store blocked me from reaching a live human. But once I interacted with a live human from U-Haul, things went very well.

Storing boats/vehicles outside should be more secure with at least fencing around the property to deter vandalism. Will be looking for storage of my boat elsewhere soon.

There only 1 MAIN issue I have. There is an old style elevator and its almost never working. Also its a manual type which make it very hard to use. It would be great if it was electric instead, but mainly every time I went there it was NOT working at all.. Especially people tend to move bulky heavy things so an electric one would be a necessity in my opinion.

The basement storage unit that I used for three months over the summer must have had a water leak and so when I went to retrieve my items the ground was covered with mold. I lost all of my furniture.

Do NOT allow people to reserve units online and then send a confirmation that they have a reserved unit if you can not guarantee it!

The fact that it was even proposed to convert a building with a manual freight elevator into storage space is absurd. If I'd known that particular in advance, I wouldn't have rented the space.
