The clerk at the counter was great. He didn't let the growing line of customers or interruptions bother him; he stayed on task, helped one person at a time and pushed through. The equipment was clean and well maintained. Drop off was easy, a staffer was outside ready to assist. I was cleared and had a receipt in less than five minutes. I will use this location in the future and recommend.

The UHaul truck smelled like tobacco and there were food crumbs and debris left behind.

I left with 1/8 of a tank. I was told that if I filled it up to one quarter that I would get a discount. I filled it up to one quarter which cost me $15 and I was given a $10 discount. So basically, they charge me to do them a favor. Yes, I already filed a complaint. It's not about the $5, it's the principal. The gentleman behind the desk should not open his mouth to tell me something unless he's absolutely sure of how it works. So, unless they correct this, I will not be recommending anybody and it's a shame, because up till until I returned the vehicle, everything went smoothly. The gentleman who "helped me" needs more training.

Perhaps employ a little people friendly and happier folks (haha I know I know it's a city and everyone is exhausted but man a smile goes a long way these days. If you treat your employees well, they will start smiling more )

Vito took really good care of me and he was great at taking care of the other customers that were in his store that needed rentals as well. Definitely going back.

I reserved a specific piece of equipment THEY DID NOT HAVE. (a trailer with a ramp) YOU NEED TO INFORM THE CUSTOMER BEFORE THEY SHOW UP if you change it

The first location had an impossible lock that was not working and set us back over an hour. Should have booked this location first.

On a Saturday morning have more employees working f the counter instead of just one. It will make a smoother and more efficient experience.

Everything is great guys except you need security gates so people can’t siphon gas out of the trucks because my paperwork said it was a half tank and when I started the truck it said 0 miles to empty so somebody took the gas out overnight anyways thank you

Truck had a cup with half an apple and a water bottle full of pee they gave it to me with less than 1/8 of gas which I just found out its illegal to do so.

It was so easy dropping off the trailer -- took us less than 2 minutes!

Employee helping at the register did not properly inform me on how to return my rental after business hours. He simply said park the car in the lot and drop the keys in the red bin which I did. Resulting in me having to get in the phone with customer support to resolve my rental return properly

I actually reserved in Monrovia because that is where I was clearing out my storage unit. They did not have a truck and said "Just be cause you reserved here doesn't me they have to have a truck." And "call U-Haul and complain." I as sent to El Monte and they did not have a truck so I was sent to another location in El Monte. Was told my reservation was for Duarte. When I was leaving with the trunk I got a call from another location asking why I hadn't picked up the truck I reserved. So much time was lost it added an extra day to my trip. And the cost of a hotel.

The truck having transmission problems. Would not disengage tow mode. Would kick when gears shifted. Dirty box. Could use a good wash. Fuel below what was advertised.

Both times I went there spoke to the manager he was excellent with me second time I went there spoke to an employee and he was excellent too great service great attitude no complaints I believe they both went above and beyond their job thank you all U-Haul great experience not happy about the insurance Price but it'll do.

They double charge me and the staff could not do nothing. they told me that the next morning the Manager Justin would call me back and I waited until 12pm for a call and no one called me so I went ahead and called him and he had no idea what I was talking about. He was Adamant about them not over charging me and that on his end it showed one charge. I had to leave where I was at to show him my bank statement showing that I was double charge.
