And in my previous order, i was told to park on Atlantic Avenue by the Uhaul rep and she caused me to incur a 145 dollar ticket. My experience with Uhaul has been bad. But it is needed. Hopefully one day the services get better or the a better service provider comes along. This trip the Vehicle was in total chaos. And I still have not received my Receipt to hand in to my Boss. Yet thank you because the use of the Uhaul allowed me to pick up items for homeless shelters. Those donations was what truly mattered. I just wish that Uhaul had a better system. The Worker at the Uhaul place were very helpful with everything. I truly appreciated them for a job well done. The lady clerk and the gentlemen providing the Uhaul were helpful with the online process. Please send my receipt and response to my grievance about my the ticket that I paid for only because I have to use this service.
Lawrence NormanPicking up the truck in the Bronx on the grand concourse was great but they didn't have a drop off location for me. I was using it to go to Brooklyn and wanted to leave it in Brooklyn but it took me 3 tries finding a u haul location. I finally found a place after an hour of trying to return the truck.

Akram QaidI originally ordered a 26ft Truck, scheduled it and on the pre call the next day I was told did I want to go to Jersey City to pick it up when I live in the Bronx. The truck that was chosen was full of water so the gentleman that brought the truck was disappointed so he changed the truck to a different one . The truck overall is in pretty bad condition it had over 121 000 miles on it and drove like a roller coaster. Worst UHAUL experience I've ever had. The customer service representative at the front desk was great , very helpful in getting me through the registration process online at the store.

When i picked up the trailer they made me buy a wiring extender $15 as a separate add on with a different invoice. This location is trash with trash people working. Not helpful in amyvway. Returned trailer a day early and was charged an additional $20 for afterhours return because i returned at 7 AM instead of 9. Rent from another location. Unless you don't mind be charged for additional services you should not need if rented from another location.

FRANCISCOA MARTEThe only one thing I was disappointed with was when getting our vehicle I was surprised to find that the gas tank was only a quarter full. My reasoning for being upset is that people who are picking up such vehicles for moving are people who have a priority to move things not worry about filling up on gas to get you to and from your location. It's ok to of course do so at the end of a move and bring it back as you picked it up. But honestly I didn't have that kind of time on this specific day before even loading the truck to get gas first. Getting gas was not my priority the move was.

The rental didn't include the hand truck or the blankets and i had to drop off in Lima to save 150 and this savings was not reflected in the bill.please adjust.

She rolled her eyes at me and gave me an attitude the whole time. I felt so stupid and even wanted to cry. I went in at 6pm she looked at her watch and that's when her whole attitude changed.

Asked for another person, but said I could not use the emergency contact that was on the reservation. On return, the app kept timing out, finally the attendent helped me and checked it in for me on his device.
Mark DanemanI noticed that the review mirror was broken off of the windshield. I returned the van and told the employees that they were renting out a damaged vehicle that has no visual of what's behind them. Due to my frustration of this unacceptable lack of attention for a Uhaul rental, the men outside said condescendingly, "I don't think you're in a rush" and sat back in a van asking me why I had such an "attitude". He then asked me "Why do you need a mirror, to look at yourself?" Obviously this is absurd, UNSAFE and completely disrespectful to a customer. Yes, I had an attitude because obviously the employees knew of this safety issue, yet did not repair it. I proceeded to go inside and spoke to the manager, whose behavior was equally as unprofessional. He told me I was acting like a "sissy" and I should not be as mad and that he was going to cancel the order. By canceling the order I would not have been able to move what I needed to, and would have impacted others' schedules.. I asked him if that was the first time someone pointed out that the van's review mirror was missing, and he said no. YES, that's why I'm mad because an issue that impacted driving and visibility was ignored. Due to this experience, I feel Uhaul should TERMINATE the workers who were outside as well as the manager on duty.

The biggest issue here is the lack of communication and the manager is not very customer friendly. There were times I would be calling and emailing with no response, the only way to get anything resolved is to actually go in. I had an issues and called, left VM, left emails and even called customer service with no return calls. I would get a reply if I emailed an a specific employee on staff but never when I reached out the the manager. When you go in stores, the employees tell you that they are ignoring the phone calls on purpose because it is too busy.

So my locks that I had wasn't suitable nor acceptable, but that's ok. At least I was able to rent out a van, load and unload all on 1 day. And they had carts available to move heavy items from the van to the unit. That was helpful.

UHAUL should have a closing announcement for all customers to hear which it does not !! take note make an announcement to notify people what is going on!!!
Sharon Reed | Expérience généraleWhile the facility is very clean and well run NYC rodents are still a problem. I only saw one during a visit, there are many visible traps around. I can honestly state that my belongings (stored for six months) were not at all effected by them. And, I checked to make sure. The facility does make sure that you are not leaving garbage or storing food or other inappropriate materials. It was very easy to get in/out with my SUV and their rental trucks. The access hours worked great for me (5am to 10pm). I would definitely use them again.

willington rosario | Expérience généraleThe only bad experience for me was that I could not change the date of payment this was an ordeal for me as im retired and my benefits come once a month an I was always late on payments and incurred additional fees that affected my budget needs thus policy you have should be reviewed and changed its horrible experience. Im sure as a business you want to make as much money as you can however the cost of people loosing precious memories. As I have lost after two years of paying for my unit I couldn't keep my. Payments and had to donate all of my belongings Im sure im not the only one that has lost I did try to change that date via emails or calls that was a shame did not get answer and the only solution I was given was to pay two months in advance this was a hardship for my budget as a paying customer allowances should be made for long term renters. I reached out last year saying raising prices during a global pandemic (even if it was a scheduled increase) was predatory and someone with real power should do something about this. I said I didn't need to speak to anyone about this at my facility because no one there has any power to change prices and procedures handed down from corporate. I STILL received a phone call from my storage facilities manager which quickly devolved into him insulting me and saying "they don't set prices"; I already knew that. I was shuffled to the side and insulted by someone I almost specifically asked not to speak to. I've given your company a lot of money over the years during the most trying times in my life without complaint. I will never give you another because of this and will discourage ANYONE who asks me from doing any business with you in the future.

The spaces are smaller than most assume, so I would recommend checking out the units prior to fully committing to a locker. But, I believe they are willing and able to work with you to find the right storage unit.

I reserved a truck and storage unit online and with the Promotion of one free month of storage. I go to pick up the truck and they tell me they have no more trucks available so they give me a fan. Okay, fine, fair enough, not a big deal. Then I go to the storage unit and while I'm at the desk, the employee refuses to honor the free month of storage with a vehicle rental. I told her that I called them earlier to confirm that they'll honor the free month and they said YES over the phone and hung up on me. I get there and she tells me that they won't honor it, nor is the promotion valid for their location. I then ask why does it say it is available on their website? Crickets.... I wish i didn't cancel my reservation with Public Storage and went with them.

But was unhappy by the amout of mouse and rat droppings in my storage unit. With all my stuff in it and kids items alot had to be thrown out because of mouse/rat droppings. We use to have a second floor unit but once me moved to a ground floor unit rat/mouse droppings problem. Overall if it were not for the mouse/rat droppings U-Haul storage great company great customer service prices not too bad.
