Custom service and the knowledge how everything is ran slots of surprises the process is terrible one of the young lady was very rude she lied and didnt want to reimburse me for my gas the lady checked us without offering us a swipe card me and my husband are up in age this was a very bad decision I don't think I will use this location ever again i reserved a 26 inch once arrival I was given a 20 inch I leave a lot's thing behind the lady where really rude and in professional to me and my husband there's more 7707446363 I was really disappointed

I have not given notice of moving out of my unit. I had no intentions on vacating until the next scheduled due date which was almost two weeks from the date they put a cleaning tag on my unit. An appliance dolly have been removed by staff and boss they can't find it.

There's a ziplock bag with what seems like human feces in it near my storage unit. Out of about 6 staff members we encountered only about 2 of them were very welcoming and helpful. Charging $30 extra for the same size unit without steps is just absurd. Mice traps in the unit is very concerning & unwelcoming

you charged me $166 for 3days of rental space, i was told you do not prorate if customer move out early. that is absurd it is also illegal to charge me for service not rendered. regardless of your policy as i am told i am expecting you to do the right thing refund the difference immediately.

I was overcharged on fuel, I ended up buying $38 of fuel to go 31 miles which is absurd on all levels. I trusted your judgement by not looking at the fuel gouge before driving, and the truck kept accelerating by its self with a kick.

We to close out my units and one was wet and moldy and of my clothes and beds was wet and moist to the touch mold had set in and was a very strong smell in the unit I’m will never recommend this place to anyone else plus I will be leaving a bad review on all platforms.

Storing my items was fine. When I arrived to pick up and move out there was a glue trap full of mice droppings, and a decomposing mouse. Employees were "shocked" to see, but the trap did not come from me, so it had to be placed there. Was a little concerned about my items having mouse droppings all on it. Most things were in totes, so it was protected. Thank the team for a positive attitude towards that! Shoutout to Ellias, Diego, Chris, and the young lady ( she is collecting vinyls for reference on the correct young lady to shout out. Sorry I did not get her name) for assisting with the move out! Your positive attitudes and willingness to assist was very much appreciated! You all have a successful life ahead of you!

Customer service was poor to say the least. There was a u-haul truck parked and blocking the truck that I rented for the day. When I asked a u-haul emploee person in the area he replyed with, "You need to get the key to the truck that's infront so you can move it out of the way." When I asked if I had to move it he replyed with, "Yeah, this is U-Haul not We-Haul!" and continued to walk away.

The guy that checked me in and the guy that helped me swap trucks was amazing. He was concerned about it being clean. He made sure there were no lights on because a problem. The customer service people were also amazing. The 10' truck was too small so he arranged for me to get a 15' truck. I was very stressed and he was amazing!!!

Lights flickering or cutting off while moving in and out. Bathroom dirty, halls have obstacles in the middle of them. Staff is was too busy to do their job. Was done moving out on Feb. 28th, asked them to check it so I wouldn't be charged again. Was then told it was being checked out and that I'd be sent a receipt by email the following day. I didn't receive my receipt until 9th of March after calling twice to complain about the situation. I was then told a manager would contact me. I'm still waiting on that call. I also had a call to see about my refund twice now. I do not recommend this place. I will not be coming back. I'm new to Atlanta and it was a terrible experience. I'm still waiting on my money.

When we got there they had three locks on there My lock is two other locks and it took an hour for them an hour and 30 minutes for them to take it off You had to come back up there two times I only rented to U-Haul for 5 hours it was really inconvenient and I would never use Peter Street location again really bad customer service really really bad

There was an employee at the 300 Peter’s location in Atlanta of the Spanish descent its was a male.i feel as he over charged me for the gas I put the proper gas amount in there but he kept insisting that I put more gas in the truck then he told me I was late when I wasn’t I had been there unloading in the storage n when I was threw he was like u gotta put more gas in the truck so I did n when I came back the second time he was like u late n the gas not right n I showed him the video I took when I got the truck but still insisted I was short on gas..he took the deposit with these bogus allegations about the truck.

Not the locations fault but my order was canceled and moved to this location without notifying me. The packing supplies and furniture pads did not transfer with my rental which is asinine. The truck over all was in fair condition but the cab smelled of cigarettes and there was caulk or some type of putty on the light inside.

Please check the equipment more thoroughly and air out in the case of odors. The first 10' truck I received was visibly clean but had a very strong marijuana smell that gave my wife a headache immediately after getting in the truck. Too strong to live with. We had to go back into the office and request a swap to a different truck, which they did.

The guy who I had my initial contact with while getting the uhaul or checking out was very rude. He was chatting the whole time and really didn't focus on me, the customer. Then he had an attitude which made things even worse it felt like a jail maybe. Which made me feel horrible. The guy at the end with all the tattoos seemed pretty nice. Overall I give it 3 stars literally that's what they deserve.

My unit was not clean. Staff was friendly. The access hours are ridiculous due to the fact that ppl work almost the same hrs as the office and will rarely be able to access their unit. 9pm access time is great like any other facility. Also stairs are down and there is only one working elevator. Will recommend for a U-Haul only!!!

This location was stellar. The only thing keeping them from being excellent, 5-star status was their personal appearance. Because of the location & the typical experience one normally has in this area, I couldn't tell who was who, specifically on the outside, not the retail area.

The outside and inside of the Truck was dirty. There were cigarette ashes and weed buds inside the cabin in the ash tray dash board and seats. Both the driver side door and passenger side door wouldn't close properly, the door had to be slammed and it still rattled. I felt uncomfortable and unsafe.?. I reserved a 15 ft truck and was made to take a 20 ft truck even though there were 15 ft trucks on the lot

The $19,99 rental fee is misleading. Although you can rent the vehicle for that price, the mileage fee is extreme. It would be better if you could have the first 5-10 miles free or some other promotion. This vehicle was needed for a short move, which the pricing could be better. Merci.

The truck was in bad condition. It was out of line and I almost had several accidents due to the poor alignment of the truck. The inside driver seat belt kept failing to free me. I even had to get my son and husband to free me on several occasions. I felt as though if I had to exit the truck speedily I would've been trapped.

The first truck that was assigned to me had a gash in its tire. If I hadn't caught it, that would have been a big problem; so that leaves me questioning safety inspections of the vehicles. However, the staff handled it well and assigned me another truck that worked well. The best thing about this location is that all the employees I dealt with were professional and knowledgable. For that reason, I would definitely use them again.

My storage was infested with rat feces. I spoke to the manager and staff and we got together and removed all items from my storage and opened and checked them for its content. After putting them back into the storage, I came back after another month and lo and behold. There were much much more of the same rat feces. I complained and I told the staff member, and did not get a favorable reply. I was told that there was nothing that they can do to eliminate or get around the situation. I finally decide to move out of the storage and during my exit period staff member was so rude and did not even try to assist, but told me that this is U-Haul not WE-Haul , I took all of my things out and went to another storage company. I tried to purchase a few items, but also that they do not accept cash because manager was not available. I could never refer this company to any of my family members.

For the time I had my things in U-Haul I really felt safe and comfortable with my things in U-Haul they were a blessing to me they help me every time I go in I was very satisfied with customer service that you guys have on Peter Street they are excellent the place is clean you don't smell anything is is nice I love it and if I ever have to come back again guess what I will be coming back to U-Haul God bless you all and thank you all for everything

The people at the office especially Felicia was nasty and don't want to help me at all! Acted like i was bothering them, and i wasted half a day just tryna move out. Two gentlemen helped men thankfully at the end, and I'm thankful for them that's the only thing that really helped at the end of the day. But the rest of them were useless!

My move-out process was not as great as my moving in process. There was no one at the counter when I walked in and there was another customer waiting for assistance as well. There were no carts available for me to move my things out due to other parties were using 2-4 carts at a time; when I expressed that to the staff I was able to find no one seemed pressed to create a solution or assist in anyway. I'd really appreciate receiving a prorated refund for the short time that I was there.

I'm not sure of their names, but the gentleman outside taking my truck and the woman inside helping with my storage were SO kind and SO helpful. They remembered my name, what I needed help with, and came back to check in. It was a really busy day and you could not tell by their demeanor. Truly kind and helpful people. Thanks so much y'all!

There where rat/mice droppings through various parts of my storage unit. Also, many of the items in my storage unit were chewed on by mice/rats. I had to throw many of my items away as a result of the state of the storage space.

Rented a uhaul truck and air went out and I was subjected to utilizing their storage facility. Mgmt was unwilling to assist and only credited 31 towards the uhaul cost! No assistance with storage cost even though I advised the broken equipment was essentially costing me by the hour. I had two movers with me and it took mgmt 2 hrs to credit me $31 towards broken truck! I ended up having to pay my movers for two additional hours! I would never recommend this facility to anyone ever!!! I was also charged $15 service fee for insurance that I did not ask for nor was advised I was being charged this until the end and was advised to come back the next day to have Karim refund being as though he charged it! Very bad customer service!!!

I have notice my unit has been infected with mice/rats. I have damage property where the mice/rats have urinated and defecated on. There was piles of droppings all over my storage unit. I have brought it to the General Manager attention and I was instructed to make a claim and will do so. Very disappointed and discussed that I have made payments close to $7 000 and my things I have worked hard to obtain had to be in this condition but so pleased my things are no longer left under your care.

Christian at the Peters location was unbelievably helpful and professional. What a great job and his help basically saved the day for my family. I gave this a one star because I reserved a unit at a different U-Haul self storage and the day before when I tried to login and finish online I found out the unit wasn't available. How is that possible. I reserved a month in advance. The same thing happened with my truck. Honesty it is very poor business model but it must work you. Also the woman in telephone Customer Service who helped me was great as well.

The place is always busy. I have damaged items due to their roach infestation. I had to throw away most of my things due to it. The fee was 160 per month. I cancelled my unit 5 days within the month. Instead of them prorating like a normal professionally ran company, I had to go back and forth with Ms So or Seau who provided me only 50 when I should have received approx 140 Worse storage place EVER and I mean EVER.

I moved out of my storage September 2022 and gave the manager my keys from a settlement that I paid and I'm still receiving notices phone calls emails stating that my storage will be sold up for auction also I received an email text stating my move out date for my storage is June 19th 2023 I'm very unhappy I'm not sure what the manager did but I'm very unhappy and waiting on someone to give me a call back, I called so many times and the manager would not return my call.

Too slow and the Spanish women who claim to be a Manager was very negative and nasty attitude. I would imagine the culture of people who was mainly there would cause here to display bad attitudes and aggressive services. She was just terrible and unhelpful.

I had mold on somethings that I had to throw away and I ask the guy what could be done and he brushed me off. So NO I wouldn't recommend anyone to get a storage unit here.

I am rating two stars because I did enjoy my actual storage unit experience. My stuff was kept safe for a long time with no chance of it being affected by weather or another person, for that I am grateful. I am writing this review, however, because the policy and tolerance for customer service MUST change at that facility. Ibrahim, you need to treat your renters, former current and potential, with more respect. I rented that space for a little longer than 1,5 years, with automated on-time payments every month. I finally moved into an apartment with enough room for my stuff, so I said goodbye to my storage unit. I emptied my unit the last week of July in 2022, locked it, and went to the front desk. I asked the gentleman at the front desk how to "officially end my rental" and he said "give me your keys to your lock, unit number, and I'll cancel the recurring payments" I went on my way. It took me two months to realize that they had never stopped charging me my monthly rental fee. I made a phone call, and an employee of the customer service department who's name I THINK was Megan, was the nicest and most understanding person I could've spoken to. She told me my refund had been issued and that id receive it in about three business days. Four business days later, I get a call from Ibrahim. He personally canceled the refund, and let me know that he would not be stopping the payments until I opened my unit because "the lock was my personal property". I explained the situation to him, about how I didn't have my keys, and he basically told me that there was nothing I could do, and that I, a 22 year old girl with no car and an address far away from that facility, had to buy bolt cutters, drive over there and do it myself. I refused. I gave him written and verbal permission multiple times to bust that lock himself (I am sure he has bolt cutters). I kept being sent an outstanding bill of rent, since Megan had turned my automatic payments off. I eventually was sent a bill for about $640, an a harsh email explaining that my lease with uhaul has been terminated and that all of my stuff (there was so stuff) would be sold at auction. Still no refund. I almost forgot to mention the 5 separate phone calls from that Uhaul office asking me to call them back as soon as possible, which I did, and I would be met with another person that had no idea why I was calling, and upon explanation, Ibrahim would receive a call while I held, and immediately, every time, after the conversation between the two, I was met with loud, interrupting "MAAM, MAAM, calm down ma'am" and "there is nothing I can do for you, please pay your outstanding bill, and if you have a complaint file it with our customer service", when, like I said, they always called me first. I eventually just filed a complaint through the BBB and within 24 hours I was issued my refund and an apology. Ibrahim knew I was calling, he knew I was having trouble, he knew there was miscommunication all over the place, and he chose to not believe me because I never caught the name of the gentleman I gave my keys to. Some of the worst and most disappointing customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I work very very hard to exist in a loud, fast-moving world and I don't always get the answer right but Ibrahim, you dropped the ball on this one. I wasn't going to write a review until Ibrahim personally emailed me asking to write one, with the following pleasantry, "you are a very valuable customer to us and we really appreciate your feedback". I don't think I will be coming to that facility again. I would also like to mention my experience with a kind man that used to work with Ibrahim and his team when I first got my unit in may of 2021. His name is G, and he is from Miami. That morning was hard for me since I was going through a pretty important breakup, and I was driving a really big, uncomfortable truck, which I never have done in my life. I parked in the wrong area, couldn't back the truck out, and started to cry. I also packed my boxes wayyyyyy too heavy, and I accidentally booked a unit that was up a flight of stairs! G found me, told me everything was gonna be okay, and went behind his bosses orders and helped me. He really saved the day for me. I have never forgotten him. I doubt he still works at U-Haul, he seemed like a very happy untouchable person and I hope he is doing something he loves.

My experience with U-Haul was a miserable one, and at extra cost to me. My move out date was scheduled with consideration. Yet… U-Haul cancelled my moving truck with ZERO notice. No phone call. Nothing. I was sitting in dead end traffic on a Wednesday morning, there was a bad wreck. No call?!?? The consequences of no such notice were: 1. $120 for an extra month of storage. 2. $89 extra to my movers, who had to stay an extra hour that day while I retrieved another truck. 3. Miserable morning, having to run around and find another truck last minute. 4. Not being able to finish my move that day. 5. Missed work with the extra time - I'm a contractor and the missed work was a $600 value loss. I feel I deserve some compensation. Any other reputable service on earth gives you a call before they just cancel you for being 20 minutes late. Awful, awful experience.

This was the worst experience I ever had. First they didn't want to to take cash then only a bank card. Then they didn't have the size truck I reserved. By this time it's 4:30 when I originally checked in around 2pm. Just for to tell me I have to come back by 7pm to access the storage. So I come back act 6:30 and they refuse to let me unload the truck into the storage because they close at 7pm. This was ridiculous cause I already discussed this with the agent who helped me set up my reservations for the truck and storage rental. He set it up for a One Way truck and 1 month free storage. But when I got there they changed it. After they refused me access to the storage I had to extend the truck since I had to work 9-6 the following day. Then I ended up buying a storage from Public Storage there process was so much easier and it's 24 hour access, which was needed.

The customer service was not friendly at all Ms Felshia her tone with each person was so unprofessional she out of all them need to go back and be retrain on how to treat the customer you don't have to bow down just simply being kind especially where you spending your money.This could cause a shut down and to because I had the wrong key so I ask them if they could cut the lock we don't do that here you need to call a locksmith I know they could have cut that lock because if I didn't get my furniture and left it after so many days and was behind and paid they would have found away to cut it off 📴 so not a nice experience just ruled bad attitude even if they have cut the lock attitude for customers very poor and that's very important.I except a call please.Thank you.

Wasn't told that I wouldnt have access to my storage room because it closes when the office closes at 5pm so due to that inconvenience I couldn't get to my storage room and had to have the U-Haul truck for another day! Your sign clearly says that insurance is an option. Your rude clerk told me I had to purchase insurance and if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere. You should make it clear on your signage that insurance is mandatory. It's not about the money it's about my having an option as to how I spend my money.

Staff was not always friendly. This location had an infestation of rats. The door to the stairs were locked for years going up. Staff always thought it was taboo to use the stairs eventhough I informed them that it was a fire hazard. Trying to get someone on the phone to cancel the contract was impossible I was always transferred to the customer service and was told someone would call me back. The prices continued to go up since 2018. Very disappointed.

Got to the storage place before they closed and they refused to let me in saying they was closing at 5 which I told them it wasn't 5 yet and the manager said iam the manager andi said come back tomorrow it take to long to start a move in I let her know I was already set up everything online and I was move in ready with jus a couch and a few boxes she refused to respond and the staff told me I had to go worst place and I haven't moved in yet would not use again or recommend

This U-Haul had the most DESPICABLE customer service and staff in all the years l have been a customer. As a healthcare hero, l have worked all over the Unites States caring for sick people. I have used U-Haul for over 20 years in my travels and this by far has been the worst staff and management in ANY state I've lived in the country. Since 2019, I have not and will not EVER use U-Haul ever again. The disgusting "customer care," unprofessionalism and lack of help stemming from corporate was deplorable. U-Haul??? Never, EVER again!

Except for Abraham ALL the other employees are RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL and should not work with the public. I got into a screaming match with one of the guys some nasty words were exchanged on both our behalf's, however calling my mother out of her name was unacceptable (she wasn't even present) I have never experience this level of disrespect ever. I only asked a question about how to file a claim.

Received contradictory billing, staff was rude, would leave me on hold. Was disrespectful when talking to me in front of customers while on the phone. Lacked professional courtesy and communication. Worst experience ever.. Staff lied constantly as I informed them calls were being recorded. And rebuttal that they record calls as well.

My move-in experience went smoothly! The staff called the morning of my move-in to confirm the time I would arrive, and made sure I had easy access to move the contents of my U-Box to a storage unit. The only small hiccup was not receiving the disk lock promised in during the registration phase. Luckily, I already had one, so it wasn't a big deal.

Rented a UHaul 10' Van and reserved for 9/00 to clear the locker out to get the items to my daughter's new apartment at Spelman. When I arrived at 11:00 was told the reservation was canceled as I had not picked the Van up within an hour. I did not receive a call regrading the cancellation and had just arrived from Washington, DC with movers waiting to clear the storage and deliver to her dorm. Staff was very sismiss after having used your storage space for three months. Seems like the culture your organization accepts is one where customers do not matter because people have to move things every day. I will not refer UHaul to anyone and will be writing a negative review on social media.

We were coming in town from a MS family reunion and we had reserved a trailer in Decatur, GA. It was recommended to first visit the 300 Peters location to take care of it. We were able to confirm a trailer there and pay $247,68 with card ending 8692 for our reservation at the 300 Peters location. We had to get a locksmith because we entrusted the keys to a family member in Atlanta, however they misplaced the keys in the midst of relocating. This is no reflection on U-Haul. However, while waiting on this locksmith, U-Haul gave our trailer away at the location where we were waiting. It was also difficult to access a bathroom while the 11 of us were waiting. We had to request that they find somewhere nearby to get another trailer. We experienced another inconvenience getting the trailer at the other location & making sure the hitch fit. They were aware that when we left to get the trailer we were coming back because we had not finished moved everything out of the storage onto the dock. However, when we came back a quarter to 7 they had locked the office doors and we had to crawl underneath the storage gate to get to inside because my niece had not moved all her belongings out of the storage unit. They were telling us that they could not help us because they were closing and we could just come back tomorrow. We had to urge the manager to let us stay after closing to continue loading the things onto the U-Haul because we were leaving for Illinois in the morning. Overall, the entire experience was made more difficult than it had to be. The customer service was poor, there was no effort being put into providing helpful aid to us. It was very inconvenient seeing that we were traveling back to Illinois the very next morning.

I had a storage on the fourth floor 4326. There was some type of leak from the air condition now or wear whatever he caused issues when I was trying to move out it kept catching the wheels of the carts that they provide when I will roll something that's kind of big it always catches the wheels even when you pull up the blue little thing that they had down to catch the witness your items still caught some part of the yellow buckets. Other than that right there that was very inconvenient and what I feel does inconsiderate especially when you have folks moving out how to come up with a better job of catching whatever water whatever is it that they're having. The staff is always nice respectful and ready to help but that's part right down the fourth floor what a water leak that that bring your score down for me have a blessed day

Inconvenient hours, short timers on the lights, and when I went to empty my storage, I found that mice had gotten into my locker and defecated/urinated on my belongings, the management staff was alright, but I would not recommend using them for anything short of buying boxes or renting a truck.

The staff was amazing! The only reason I wouldn't recommend this location is that I know I did not like that I did not like not having 24 seven access to my things when it really mattered. Also I think there should be some sort of prorated refund. Because of me not being aware of the limited access slowed down me getting out of the unit before the start of the next billing cycle. Lesson learned to read the small print. I did see a sign that said ask for after hours access but that was not granted.

Overall the employer and employee are very polite and patient. The only thing that I suggest is that just because we as customers have access to the facility with a key card still need to be checked for ID to know that the person that is going into the storage unit is the person name matches the information on the contract. Why it's a concern because all of my things was stolen out of my unit from a friend of the family that was living with me and I discovered all my things was stolen of my unit after I came to the facility after paying for a truck that I didn't need after hiring a locksmith to cut the lock off to discover my unit was empty which I lost all the way around money and all of my valuable possessions and renting a uhaul just if the person that I asked to open the door after the lock was broken then I wouldn't had to pay for a truck at all but they insisted I had to have a truck to remove my things which I agreed because I didn't discovered I had no keypad until that day. Sorry I went long winded. Just be mindful to check the ID'S WHEN A RENTER IS MOVING OUT OF A UNIT TO MAKE SURE THAT IT MATCHES WHAT IS ON THE CONTRACT BECAUSE IF THAT HAD BEEN DONE IN THE BEGINNING IT'S NO WAY THAT ALL OF MY VALUABLE HEIRLOOMS WOULD HAVE BEEN STOLEN OUT OF MY UNIT AT ALL THIS IS MY BIGGEST CONCERN OVERALL I HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU PUT THIS YOUR NUMBER #1 RULE HIGHLY MAJOR SUGGESTION INTO CONSIDERATION!!!. I hated where my unit was. All the way around several corners and up a flight of stairs. I got lost everytime. The map did not help! Also the door handle was rusty and door misaligned so I ended up slicing my finger open one day trying to close the door.

Peters street is the worst u haul storage facility I have ever been to you guys have the nerve to block the parking spaces with crates knowing that we're trying to come in and get access to our storage units there should be no reason why there's no place to park inside of the garage the workers there are also very inconsiderate and uncaring I actually removed all my things and found another storage unit because of how horrible you guys treatment was toward myself and other it customers who I seen arrive on January 1st

I called the local facility and was misinformed on the available space. I was told that there were no vacancies. I look online and found a space and immediately booked it. I called back not knowing by this time I was speaking to the call center at this point, to inform them I was 20 minutes away and was informed that I would be able to move in immediately. I drove directly to the facility only to discover it was closed and again I was misinformed. We had additionally rented a truck to move the items that was not at expiration point however still full of our items. We left the truck on the property so we would not continue being charged and called the next day to explain the situation. We then were not offered any sympathy however rudely informed we must vacate the truck so it could be used for another renter and any thing else would have to be taken up with cooperate cause they were not the ones who told us we could move in. The customer service from local and call center was/is horrible and this storage time is desired to move faster just to avoid any other situations.

It's low average for me. As to not only l was paying for damage insurance to the storage for my items to sit in there. But some how not thinking mice was there too after l started going through my things to put on the cart. I notices dropping an foam from my cooler rip up in different places books , pillows , rip opening from my sofa. Foam piece all over the storage l have pictures an video to prove it. In a short period of time it was only in there for a month an the mice are disrespectful to people things. l see as if they was throwing a party because the janitor was gone home an what's the point of having mice trap at the corner of the enter the lid is upside down on top of the bottom half of the container. How u post to catch them from the box that way.

The key card doesnt always work and so do the pin numbers. It was hassle getting it open to access to my storage and the design is too weird there should be a ramp for carts not stairs.

Upon retrieving my items from my storage unit I notice all of my belongings had Rat/Mouse feces all over them. I did not keep food in the unit at all. All of my property was destroyed and had to be thrown out. Clothes, shoes, dressers, bed, TV stands, TV, college frames/posters all destroyed by rodents. The staff was fine and helpful, but the quality of the unit is horrible. Thousands of dollars in the trash just by choosing this lock up.

The GM Ibrahim is a disgusting reflection of UHaul management. He is not only confrontational, but also lacks very basic customer service skills. He thoroughly enjoys making customers upset and inconveniencing them wherever possible. His venom has even begun to seep into some of the lower employees. Instead of being kind and accommodating, they follow his lead with nasty attitudes and argumentative natures. The facility is disgusting. If I had known I would have daily visits from rats and roaches I would've never chosen to store my items here. My experience with this Uhaul was one-star at best. They need a complete re-training, investigation, and new pest control procedures.

This place is absolutely absurd. First I scheduled a mobile pick up for Tuesday, July 27 and when I got there they were no mobile pick ups available so I had to wait for the place to open and wait to get my truck. Then I decided to get a storage unit in which the map the young lady gave me was not helpful I could barely find the storage unit I had to go through a maze. I've been had to walk up stairs to get to the unit. Now I read online that it was 24 x 7 but today when I got there to take some things at almost 7 o'clock the employee said they close at 7 o'clock. Why can I not have access to my unit at anytime. I would like to remove my items because i need to be able to access my things.

The young lady who got me checked in at the front was more than a blessing during this high stress time in my life. She allowed for my work to be filed correctly and didn't move forward until she was sure I was in the right place. Every time I came to enter my storage unit I would check in and then be denied access to my unit. After every visit I had to have a customer service representative assist in the access to my unit. I was given a card after a third attempt that still denied me access. Fix your system and the storage unit will be great for someone like me that needs to access their storage frequently.

Also Alyssa and Felicia were unaware of what storage units were actually available so I had to go back between them and the storage people. Horrible service I know why this place has a 2 on Google. They were also all very slow movers. I don't even mean moving stuff I mean moving in general. They leisurely strolled from place to place as if no one has other places to be and other things to do.

I switched to a bigger unit and received a receipt of new unit. Two months after getting the unit I het a call about the old unit and learn the new unit was auctioned off and Uhaul has me down for the old unit and not the new. My things were auctioned off and I am being harrassed for the balance on a unit that I moved from. The computer system there is not properly being updated, customers are losing precious and valuable items without even a phone call or a letter. I would not recommend.

The staff is not attentive nor can you get anyone to answer the phone. I scheduled a van on Wednesday to move my stuff out. I had an email confirmation for pick up on Saturday the 1st of may. I get there at my scheduled pick up time only to be told that a van isn't available. The worker stated they left a voice mail but my voicemail is not set up for anyone to leave one so she was lying on top of that. Thank you Abraham who has been the ONLY helpful worker there during my whole STORAGE time. I will not recommend this facility to ANYONE. I couldn't wait to be done with this location. It was a piece of cake August 28 but after renting for 7 months u would think after renting from Boston to Charlotte then to Atlanta the general manager wouldn't have a nasty disposition. You know what they say about first impressions? Well If I went by that I would NOT be going back, BUT I know it can be better. The details of my 1st visit are very long so I'll just hit the highlights. 1.: The e-mail I received said that I could AVOID the desk & go right to my storage using my "Access Code", WRONG. 2.: I find my storage room & there is a lock on it. 3.: The door to my storage room is opened and low & behold someones stuff is in there, so the room is NOT even ready for me to use, I have to wait for it to be cleared out. 4.: The e-mail I received said that a lock would be in my storage room, well of course there was no lock in the room. 5.: The "check-in" & "check-out" process was NOT explained to me when I was given my key card. The very nice young lady that cleared out the storage room explained all that to me, if she hadn't I wouldn't have known that I had to check-out before I left the building or I wouldn't be able to get in on my next visit. That young lady was the reason I didn't take my business elsewhere, she was very nice & sweet & kept apologizing for all this "stuff" that wasn't even her fault.

The staff at this location is HORRIBLE. Maria in specific needs to be retrained on customer service because she lacks professionalism in the workplace. They legitimately are on their personal phone as they are assisting customers, which shows how much they care for my business. If it wasn't for my pod being sent to this location I would have my storage somewhere else. I got there 30 minutes prior to opening and wasn't able to fully access my unit until quarter till 10 (this location opens at 9) because though I had made an appointment to come the following morning to empty my pod and move my things into storage I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get the previous lock taken off. The store opens on the weekend with ONE person and a line backed up with over 10 people waiting. There's employees that spend more time flirting with you then relaying information. I came back the following Day ready to move my things out of the pod into my permanent storage ñ only to find out that the storage unit required a specific lock, one that I did not possess. Thankfully for Abraham and Tony I was able to move my things in to the storage after having numerous incidents that were affecting my entry all which were on the fault of the staff members, miscommunication, and lack of professionalism. Again thank you to TONY and ABRAHAM they were the ONLY TWO there that were genuinely concerned and wanted to assure that I had everything in order.

Got assaulted by an employee that goes by 'Q' Harassed to the point of fearing for my life, called the police and had to reload my truck and get my money back for the storage unit and leave. The employee grabbed my personal belongings and started taking them off my dolly that I had chosen to use and then took the dolly because he wanted to use the one I had. He got inside my truck, bucking up on me telling me he was going to beat me up 4 against 1 because i was alone and he was with 3 other girls. NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND THAT LOCATION TO A SINGLE SOUL. That manager and employee should be fired.

People were nice, but had to bug them to help with equipment issues not their fault. Not worth the hassle. Your system seems to be top notch but there are a few glaring problems. I had a lot of questions and it seemed like i was alway on hold in Phoenix for a long time. I tried to get a hitch installed and the hitch did not arrive in time even though I had ordered it 2 weeks in advance. The local usual dealer did not seem aware or concerned that i was renting a trailer the next day. It sometime seemed like the local people on the ground didn't really know what was going on. The system seem to be run from a central location and none of the downstream people were aware of the big picture.

When closing our unit, the staff had locked us out saying our payment was overdue, when in fact our balance was zero as we were on autopay. When we notified office staff, they were apologetic and asked a team member to unlock the unit. No one had the lock for the key that Uhaul placed on our unit, and we sat for two hours outside of our locked storage unit waiting to empty it's contents, until someone finally found the right key. No one accepted responsibility and everyone blamed one another. No sense of urgency to fix the problem that was caused by Uhaul was in place by the employees, and we had to keep coming down every 20 minutes to ask for an update. Only one staff member at the front desk was friendly and actively trying to solve our problem, and apologetic on behalf of the company.

I moved into a unit for no more than a month, a week or two to be exact. I told the person on staff at the moment that I was vacating the unit and called back to reconfirm and that everything was taken care of, that was August 2019. Here we are in 2020 they are send emails, letters and phone calls about a storage until that I left a year ago. Even calling to the property directly and speaking with whoever the acting anything is for the day is, I get no luck. In the past in other cities I have used U-Haul but after dealing with this and not being able to get this matter taken care of, I will no longer patronage a business who communication skills is anything less than professional and accessible.

Though staff eventually answered questions and resolved issues, my overall experience with the customer service here was poor. I was there Friday, Saturday and Sunday - two out of three days my experience was severely lacking or an inconvenience to my move out from my apartment. On Friday the manager was rude and impatient in communication with me. First, he seemed frustrated because he couldn't hear me through my mask, then he got an attitude while gesturing for me to hand him my card, despite the card machine being within my reach. There was simply a better way for a employee to talk to a customer, let alone Black man talk to a Black woman, or human being to a human being. On Saturday morning, there were so many people in line that we were there for an hour which delayed our move. Saturday evening when I arrived to move my stuff in, we had a delay with the elevator and finding our unit because some of the lights were out. We also stumbled upon a leak in the ceiling. When we found it, my units door was broken and there was stuff still inside. The staff member transferred me to another unit which still had a lock on it. She then showed us some other units with issues such as they had roach motels in them or weren't climate controlled. She did inform us ahead of time of the latter. All out of her control but clearly the system needs to be updated with accurate info. We had been up and down the elevators 5 times already with heavy furniture and she informed us that the building was about to shut down and lock us in so we gave up and tried to get a refund. The machine wouldn't not issue the refund despite her attempts. She was nice enough to extend the truck rental. Sunday, the manager did end up canceling our contract and refunding the money which I appreciate but I was already soured on my experiencia. He was slightly more polite on Sunday but again, first impressions are lasting. Won't be doing business here in the future and still waiting for the money to hit my account.

I was calling by the uhaul staff on two occasions telling me my storage unit was open and my lock was missing and it appears to have been broken into and I want my stuff replaced or money for stolen items because I was advised that I had rental insurance and upon my move out it was never applied to my account and that's your staff problem. I'm a loyal patrion with uhaul over 40 years of rental history with you. Please contact the store and they can verify everything I have told you. It was impossible for me to get to my storage before now with the cornivirus-19 . Please call me ASAP 252-590-1904

I was given a schedule for entering and returning for vehicle, schedule changed 3x and at that point we left. Terrible to think that your area Management is on the property and this location is still run in such an unorganized way.

Four stars Becuase of the staff. Not sure name of the lady who works there most often, but she's great. Very helpful, friendly, and pleasant. The basement is dark, dank and scary! lol But she made everytihng all right.

Both of my storage spaces were riddled with rat droppings. Even after I spoke to them about it, there was no changes and up until the time that I cleaned it, it remained with rat drippings. Worst of all, when I cleaned it out, there was a dead rat in my storage that had decomposed and maggets were everywhere. In fact, I had to throw out some of my clothing as a result of it.

I wish it was explained on the website that my unit was going to be above a level but not on the second floor which made it difficult to move some items and I would have changed my unit given the option. The place was somewhat dirty and the bathroom was disgusting and reeked of cigarettes while the outside of the building smelled strongly of weed. the inside of the locker had mold or something on the floor of it and there were glue and poison traps for rodents which does not make me feel good about keeping valuables there.

I was very disappointed in how many people helped. It was a very stressful time having to move out and this made it even more stressful. I know many people that did not get in on time from having to hours just to get served. Many people could not have anticipated to wait hours just to get their storage registration done. Also the lines could have been more organized depending upon what people needed to get done considering all the rush for college students. Ex - line for only purchases , line for car rentals and line for storage units.

Self entitled Mgr and customer service representative. I asked for a floor-level access storage, paid for it and when I was walked to my unit, I realize it's the wrong one. No issue I say to myself since we all make mistakes but when I returned to counter there was no apology from CSR or Mgr. I was put in a unit that had a pillar in it and that took away at least 1 sq foot of space in a 5x5 when there was one totally empty in front It. I very calmly and matter-of-factly explained the dilemma and requested the change for 2nd time in a row. The manger most of clearly knew that unit because he made no fuss but didn't apologize either. The attitude was surprisingly arrogant and self entitled. As a home owner of a loft next door I was excited about supporting a neighbor business but I can't and won't recommend our local uhaul and will make that know in our HOA and Nextdoor platform. A simple sorry and thank you goes a long way. Uhaul falls short.

Unfortunately, the utility dolly fell out of the truck that I rented. A neighbor recovered the utility dolly, and returned it to the maintenance man. On 0/6/18/2018, I got it back! I was charged $120.
