I cannot remember his name, but the gentleman who checked me in and made sure my space rental was all set up and the first month rent coupon applied was terrific. It was afternoon on Monday. He was a younger gentleman, very tall, slender with classes. He was terrific. Was helpful in my check in for the equipment as well at 15 mins before they closed on Friday. Super nice and efficient.

Apparently my equipment was not checked in correctly when I returned it. The following morning, I received phone calls wanting to know why I hadn't checked my equipment in. I never received an email confirmation of the return even though I was told I would.

I rented a truck almost a month ago. As soon as I opened the door I was hit with a drug smell. I went to four different truck before just accepting the last one that had a cigarette smell. They were not deodorized and the Uhaul sun visors were dirty. I paid for the damage insurance and they charged me a $100 cleaning fee. The vehicle was expected to need cleaning because it was rented a month for moving and there were usual dirt.

I am truly grateful for this UHaul location and staff. I used the facility after relocating to Huntsville while in temporary housing. I often needed to access my belongings and found it very accommodating. I felt my items were secure and in a place that would keep them in good condition. I highly recommend this location for your storage and moving needs.

I don't know if I just got a bad vehicle or what it is. This is the second time I've rented from this location and the second time I felt I over paid for a vehicle even at $29.95, because he DIDN'T want to go into second gear.

The first truck had a bald front tire. When I pointed it out, an employee was quick to help me find another truck. However, trucks are not topped off with fuel. This seems like a simple thing to make the rental/moving process a little less hectic.

I was told at the pick-up-location in Alamosa, CO that when I returned the equipment in Huntsville I would receive a $75,00 refund if I returned it by the date and time on the receipt and in good condition. When I returned the equipment a day early in Huntsville, AL I was told that there was no refund available. I felt cheated and lied to. U-Haul has always been my go-to place for moving supplies and equipment, I was very disappointed in this outcome.

We had an incredible young lady help with obtaining a 5x10 storage unit and the turning in of the trailer. I've been a customer of U-Haul in Huntsville for a couple of years now and suggested it to my son for placing his personal items in storage for the year or so he'll be gone.

My truck didn't have a ramp Egypt made moving much harder. I wasn't reimbursed because the manager didn't give me enough time to come back to the store to get the remaining credit balance from my $100 cash deposit. When I called to let them know I was coming to pick up my deposit, the manager advised me that he'd already sent it via check, therefore I had no chance to be reimbursed for the ramp that was completely missing. It's a nice establishment, but I didn't like how my refund was handled.

I always feel unwelcomed at this location but it's the closest location. When you walk in the employees act like you are interrupting them or like you are trying to steal… they are really rude especially the older gentlemen that work there. But I get what I need when I use the facilities I just wish they treated me better that's why I always use the self help thru the app!

The driver's seat was torn and taped up. The visor on the passenger side was broken. The tire sensor indicated a problem with the tires. There was a very bad vibration in the front end when I applied the brakes.

Install another motion sensor in the middle of the hallways. After approximately 10min they'd time out and required you to walk to the very end of the hallway to turn the lights back on.

LOVED THE OWNER! mr. chris was so polite and kind throughout the whole interaction! made me feel really comfortable with the free months storage and explained the entire process in a way that i would recommend this location solely and use his facility moving forward to store my belongings ! also all staff was polite and helpful in the entire process from calling to set the reservation on the phone to when i was leaving, in making sure i had everything i needed. loved this experience during a tough moving process that left me with my belongings in a uhaul for two days and getting the free storage and pleasant experience made up for the hassle genuinely!

As someone who has seen a lot of rear entrances. I definitely recommend using the front one here! After physically seeing 50 un-rentable Uhaul's for weeks, At a time. I reserved a 26ft Box Truck, Had my certified driver pickup and deliver to their largely, unknown facility. On Old Monrovia Rd, In Madison County, Al. The staff is reliable and friendly and any problem you may have. The staff handles with the most integrity. I've seen as an owner, For quite some time now! Would recommend to anyone for storage. And or Shipping needs. If you rent a uhaul, your first month is free. How could you not? Ask them, not me.

Everything was perfect!! I wish this location was closer to where I moved so I could continue storing things here. I love how open and brightly lit the units were. The fact that there is a camera monitoring them by staff also adds an additional level of security too. Great, knowledgeable and informative staff!! This location is the best ever!! The facility went above and beyond for me .. i was escaping a dv situation that lead me to relocate and my things arrived 1 day before i was there. They allowed my uhaul trilor to stay in their covered garage locked and safe until I got there. You have no0 idea how that helped my anxiety. I moved from out of State, and the whole process was made so easy and worry free.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The manager Chris is very pleasant and always looking out for his customers. They don't just sell what you think you want the staff works closely with you so that you will make the right decision in choosing whether it's a truck or storage place.

Kept messing up my payment, even put a lock on one of my units, sent unpaid letters to my home "so embarrassing". The mistake got fixed but it was a hassle to get it off, they kept saying I owed when all payments were on auto pay. Nice, clean place, the staff is always polite and helpful but everyone needs to get on one accord, this happened to me 2x when it came to payments.

At the U-Haul Moving & Storage at Research Park facility in Huntsville, AL, -- A huge Thank You to Manager Jason Petty for his great customer service! A problem with the elevator prevented us from accessing our 3rd floor unit. There we were with a truck load of boxes & furniture. Jason quickly offered us a good solution w/a first floor unit. Over the past two of years we've moved all our house belongings twice. These moves have come with a lot of anxiety. However, one of the bright spots was the U-Haul Facility at Old Monrovia Rd. The storage areas were clean and well lit. The staff was friendly, efficient and easy to laugh. They had inventory of trucks ready to accommodate the different and unexpected circumstances that seemed to follow us round. If you are moving in, or away, this U-Haul will make the move easier.

The online instructions stated to present homeowners insurance verification upon arrival. The clerk at the desk did not know how to enter the homeowners insurance. It turns out they don't have to record the insurance, just need to see it. He also didn't know that the lock was inside the unit. Had to call his manager.

Uhaul was running a special if you rent a truck got a free month on a storage unit. I paid for a sml unit. The cost was 79 a month I was late on my first pymnt I was charged 272 dollars . I asked if that coverd feb.and March. I was told it did. Well almost every night after around 2 or 3 a.m the system you have kept trying to charge my debit card Luckily my card is locked or your people would of been ripping me off. Frustrated over all this I gave my belongings and Jason the manager offered to surrender my things if I paid an agreeable amount. By April their were plans to sell my unit already. I called and asked when this would happen and he said he didn't know, yet I got an email stating my unit was going to be sold although no one could tell me when so I could bid on my things. I feel like the employees you have working their are ripping people off by making charges on their debit cards at dark thirty.when I rented the truck the employees acted way to happy that I was paying cash. I watched as they took cash out and put it in there pockets. I know when a person moves or buys a house I'm sure a loan is involved and large amounts of money is in a person's account. So possibly skimming off it may go unnoticed but I am poor and my bank account had very little money in it but apparently your employees felt otherwise because almost every night they tried to charge my debit card while I was sleeping. After the first time this happened Jason assured me it was a mistake and would never happen again well it didn't happen during business hours again it happened at between 2 and 4 am. I wonder how many other debit cards were charged and it went unnoticed by the owner of the account? I have proof of theses charges I have proof that I paid for Feb and March and my late fee . Yet I was still receiving notices for charges by uhaul a couple days after my payment was made. So I lost my belongings and no I will not recommend uhaul. In fact I have told everyone I know that uhaul is a rip off or at least the employees that represent uhaul are thieves and will try to skim bank accounts at night while you sleep so you never see the notification on an email or text.

When busy, waiting on the single elevator can be really bothersome. It would be nice to have two options. However, the elevator is absolutely massive and certainly not cheap.

What can I say it's a storage unit 路‍♂️ It was clean and well maintained as for as the buildings/units. However, I don't think I have ever seen staff move so slowly when signing you up for a unit and closing one out. It was insane, waited 40mins in a line with 3 associates working and 3 customers ahead of me. Also the slide cards for the security system are a joke. They work about half the time on 2 of the 4 readers at the building entrances.

I'm giving it 3 stars because the lady that helped me was rude and talked to me like I was stupid. like I didn't know what I was talking about, just because she couldn't find my reservation. Saying are you sure you pick the right location, and when I pulled my phone out to show her she sat there looking at me like I was crazy. The facility it self was nice and clean.

Very unorganized. Staff did not communicate with each other. I believe I spoke with three different people told them we would be there on a specific day at a specific time, and when I arrived at that exact time everybody was surprised saying I was supposed to be there the day prior. They had put all of our boxes away and that caused a delay. I had hired movers for a certain amount of time and we had to go over the time because of U-Haul's mistake. The only person that knew how to operate the forklift was also operating the computer, she left a gentleman in charge of had not worked the front desk one day in his life and had no idea how to input customer information. Even after we had mail and I went back to check to see if everything was OK and found out Randy none of our information was saved in the system. Everything had to be redone. Then as we were unloading our queue boxes, we got a message from U-Haul saying if we did not respond to their message, our contract would be terminated. This is while we were standing on U-Haul property! It is a broken system that needs to be replaced. Moving is stressful enough we do not need any of these extra headaches.

Every person we encountered at the Monrovia Facility was helpful and considerate. The ease of flow between hallways was good. The alarms and cameras gave added assurance that our storage would be safe until we could move it, into our home. The neighborhood corner was so helpful. I had purchased covers for moving furniture but, went off and left in another vehicle. I was able to use something from the corner. What a good idea!
