Truck was almost out of fuel, low gas light came on after a few minutes of driving. Stupidly, I filled up the entire tank - over $100 in gas using very little and returned it with over 3/4 full and looking at the receipt, I didn't get a credit for the gas. Trucks shouldn't be given with that little fuel in them!

The tire had "walked" out of the dolly well and had inched toward the front of the dolly. Had I not caught this at 1 & 1/2 hours into trip of an 8 hour drive, who knows how this could have ended up in terms of damage to my car!

I arrived on 4/2 to pick up the van and was told that it would cost $475, an increase of 30 %. This was my first and last time dealing with you fucking assholes and I hope you feel good about stealing a $100 from my 93 year old mother.

But inconvenient to have to go get gas in it when we were just wanting to get busy loading the truck. All in all, great price, great staff, friendly and helpful. Very pleased!

He did work out a solution for me, but if the contract states debit card with a credit card symbol, that should be honored at the store.

Seems that Uhaul should be able to add more of something to keep the elements out. Im just sick about it!

I had just finished doing a almost 10 hour drive from Dallas to Albuquerque. I arrived at the Atrisco location to do my free 30 day storage I had previously reserved. I was greeted by a man who looked like I had disturbed him from some administrative task he was working on. I told him I was there to rent a storage he asked how big was the truck I was in I said 15ft. The man then said I only have one 10x10 left and at that time I said I have a reservation already he said ok and pulled up my info and said it was going to be $146 for the storage. I then asked what happened to the 30 day free I was told I would receive. He then went to tell me that it was at his discretion to do that when he is over 90 % occupation. I asked how is that even fair when this was offered to begin with this is like a bait and switch there is nothing anywhere saying that this was a discretionary option. The guy said this is what he was told he could do by his manager. The guy then asked what are you going to do and I said I would just go somewhere else. I called the call center number and after waiting on hold for about 30 minutes they were able to direct me to a location further down the road that helped. I hope the other guy gets a new attitude and learns how to better take care of his customers like the lady at the Rio Rancho location. I also suggest if U-Haul is going to allow bait and switch tactics for their storage units that they put it in writing somewhere.

I also have to mention the woman tending to the storage area, every time I was there she was always busy cleaning and just being pleasant to the customers . U-Haul is very fortunate.

Also did not like that I had to buy a new kind of lock because my big Master Lock was not good enough because it wasn't round. I also one week before picking up my truck had to change sizes I called the 800 number and was told no problem upon arriving to pick up my truck I was told that I could not have the larger truck for the date needed. I had to either take the smaller truck for date scheduled or return bigger truck early basically take it or leave it. 800 number need to communicate with local staff.
