I reserved a cargo van in advance in order to have it on the day I needed it. The afternoon before my pick up date, I was notified the location for pick up had changed. When I went to pick up the van at the new location, I was told it was not in working order to rent so I was given a 10 foot truck instead. When the truck engine was started, it showed a check engine light. The person at the rental place said it was not a big deal, but it made me concerned about the upkeep of the vehicle. Overall, it was not a great experience because the truck was much harder to maneuver in the situation I needed the van for.

The location where i actually picked the trailer up at was fine. The guys there were helpful and polite. However, the guys at the U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE AT I30 MACARTHUR, 920 S MACARTHUR BLVD, GRAND PRAIRIE, TX 75050, (972) 269-4014 location were worthless. Kevin and his coworker were busy talking about a fellow employee when i arrived and asked me to wait while they finished their gossip then they did not have the auto transport that I had reserved,even though there was several sitting on the yard. Kevin's solution was for me to wait on his location for an hour while the other guy went to pick up the trailer elsewhere. I chose to go pick it up myself at the other location and I am glad that i did.

This was my first time renting a u-haul truck and my experience was great. The process was easy to follow and the front desk guy was really cool and broke everything down for me very clearly. Nothing but high praise for me! Merci.

Your customer service lady gave me wrong advice she told me I can drop the truck off at any location I took it somewhere else they said i would be charged $200 if I leave it there so not only did I get charged for going out my way 9 miles the truck was raggedy and people need to do their job correctly instead of playing with each other behind the desk also my bank account was over drawn due to the extra mileage very very horrible experience worst uhaul place I ever been.

The guy who helped me seemed like he didn't want to be there and had an attitude. When I asked if they had any blankets in the vehicle he rudely said " No but you can buy some" ok no problem right. Then I asked if the vehicle had any straps, he then says "Yea we have straps but you're gonna have to buy them" again it's whatever right.. So I walk over to the wall where the straps are at, and it's completely bare with 2-3 straps. Then when I go to pay I give him my bank card, he states that I cannot use it. That it had to be a "Major Credit Card Company" again no problem. But then someone rented a vehicle right after me and they allowed them to pay with Cash..? This place needs far better customer service.

The trucks dashboard was lit up the service truck soon was flashing, the check engine light was on as well as the service traction control was on it smelled hot like the oil needing changing it rode ruff . The Truck should've been out of service I use to work for Budget Rental Trucks so I know how the trucks are supposed to run and work just horrible and then when I returned the Vehicle the staff was not professional at all will not be using again u less it's at another location and couldn't find any other place.

I came in and had a reservation, they had to change it. Website needs to say only major credit cards gas was not right or miles and they said they would not reimburse me for the gas also since they had to redo my contract had to have contact so I would not steal the truck asked me about the adress on my drivers license just weird , the address on my driver's license was were i was moving from to public storage why would I steal a dang uhaul. I was supposed to pickup at 10 am process took an hour peoples time is important especially trying to get the truck back on time. I hope this the last time I have to use yall made me feel some type of way

The inside of the truck look like blood was splattered all over the place and not cleaned off check engine light was on also ABS light was on the truck on the outside however was okay but was scared to touch anything on the inside. I understand that you need to have reservations but your counter people can be a little bit more courteous. I will go to a another location and never rent from this location again.

I was charged one amount. But when I brought the $19,95 for 24 hour van back, full tank of gas ( was not full when I picked it up ) , had for only 2 hours and 15 minutes , clean and then was charged $30 more!!!! What a rip off and BS. Neve again!!!!!!!

I would've been very pleased with the rental if the location did not attempt to charge me for equipment I never rented (furniture pads). Having to deal with submitting a dispute over missing pads when my original invoice clearly did not rent any pads is a poor way to end an otherwise pleasant experience. Shame, but would recommend others NOT to rent from this location.

This location had terrible customer service. They made us wait around 40 minutes just to tell us their system wasn't working. I ended up doing the return procedure online. I would not recommend this location to anyone, unless they change their employees.

Store was crowded and bad layout. I reserved 2 dozen moving blankets and they had none on site which hampered our move. If youre not going to have what's reserved available, you need to let customers know so they can plan accordingly.

Communication between pick up and drop off locations. I showed up to drop off my truck and it was closed. They had been closed for a couple days for personal issues. I dropped the truck off and took a risk by doing so but I had no choice.

The truck I was given desperately needs a wheel alignment, there was a point when I went to stop, the truck kept going as I was in a curve. Thank goodness I was driving below the speed limit or else I would've hit the curve. There was no inclement weather. Not to mention I had my child in the truck with me. The truck was NOT safe to drive at all! Though I was on a schedule, I stopped back at the pickup location on my way to where I was moving, but because they were so busy, I left & continued the rest of the 2mls left to my destination. This was a replacement for the larger size that I originally ordered since the expected truck wasn't returned on time.

I would recommend more training to employees. On this occasion the trailer that I had came off my truck as soon as I drove off and ended up hitting my truck glad no bystanders were hit as it happened on the lot and bystanders were walking around the lot. I ask for a different trailer as I didn't feel safe towing it. Manager gave me a hard time getting a different one and finally switched the trailer.

While the overall experience is satisfactory, I'm somewhat disappointed with the deduction of this month's amount. Despite vacating the premises on the morning of Nov 24, I was charged for the entire month, which concluded on Nov 23. Given the business I and my colleagues have brought in over the past two years, such discrepancies could have been prevented.

So much to say, first the staff over talked the customer, then sent us on a wild goose chase to anther location where we was then locked on the premises for over 30 mins, then we find out that our store units was on the Westmoreland promises. The guys was uneducated on how to unhook the trailer from the truck to unload my vehicle. As we began to pull off after asking him if we was good to go to unload the truck several times he stated yes, so as we was pulling off to unload the trailer was still half way attached to the truck so my son had to unhook us fully cause the uhaul worker didn't and he had move on to the next customer. There was more thi gs that went on at all three uhaul facilities that we came in contact with and I will be filing a full complaint.

The original storage unit was too small for our needs just because a truck is rented that doesn't mean that is all the room that is needed. Units should not be sized by the truck that is being rented. We had a tall entertainment center that simply would not have fit in the unit. We were told that the 10x10 was the largest we could get. We wound up getting a much larger unit and there's not much room leftover. We had a 20x20. And threw alot away.

My move in date was June 1, 2021 for a first floor drive up unit but when I got there they said that they did not have those units there and that there was nothing they could do but move me into a second floor unit. My move out date was for April 1, 2023 and I moved out March 29, 2023. Ebony took the late lock off for me on March 29. I have my lock with me. I was told I had no more time than that. I have the paperwork. Ms Natalie has been saying that she was going to get this straight but hasn't. I owe nothing if I moved out by April 1 is what I was told.

You should close this storage facility. It was sank, wetness everywhere, impossible to unload a trailer and walk the entire distance including stairs to 2nd story. I was member able to move in. There are no disputes. Staff cancelled the contract for unit, 1532 as I recall. I never entered or used the space.

Been customer for more then few months but was never Satisfied or happy. One stapes at a time - need enough employees in rush hours. Not a single time I could do in and out took me at least 20-30 mins even just to pay my storage fee. Also when I call No one pickup the phone and if they did pick up my call they put me on hold for ever till they get to charge me extra fees smh. I got so frustrated up to where I just pay them extra fee and shut up. P.S. storage units are not quite convenience.

The females at that location are super rude and not only that my couch was urinated on by a rat or something. The store manager was nice and all the males at that location.

This was by far the WORST experience I have EVER had with U-Haul! For every move I've done I have used U Haul but that may very well change.
