I reserved a cargo van in advance in order to have it on the day I needed it. The afternoon before my pick up date, I was notified the location for pick up had changed. When I went to pick up the van at the new location, I was told it was not in working order to rent so I was given a 10 foot truck instead. When the truck engine was started, it showed a check engine light. The person at the rental place said it was not a big deal, but it made me concerned about the upkeep of the vehicle. Overall, it was not a great experience because the truck was much harder to maneuver in the situation I needed the van for.

However, the guys at the U-HAUL MOVING & STORAGE AT I30 MACARTHUR, 920 S MACARTHUR BLVD, GRAND PRAIRIE, TX 75050, (972) 269-4014 location were worthless. Kevin and his coworker were busy talking about a fellow employee when i arrived and asked me to wait while they finished their gossip then they did not have the auto transport that I had reserved,even though there was several sitting on the yard. Kevin's solution was for me to wait on his location for an hour while the other guy went to pick up the trailer elsewhere. I chose to go pick it up myself at the other location and I am glad that i did.

When I asked if they had any blankets in the vehicle he rudely said " No but you can buy some" ok no problem right. Then I asked if the vehicle had any straps, he then says "Yea we have straps but you're gonna have to buy them" again it's whatever right.. So I walk over to the wall where the straps are at, and it's completely bare with 2-3 straps. Then when I go to pay I give him my bank card, he states that I cannot use it. That it had to be a "Major Credit Card Company" again no problem. But then someone rented a vehicle right after me and they allowed them to pay with Cash..? This place needs far better customer service.

Website needs to say only major credit cards gas was not right or miles and they said they would not reimburse me for the gas also since they had to redo my contract had to have contact so I would not steal the truck asked me about the adress on my drivers license just weird , the address on my driver's license was were i was moving from to public storage why would I steal a dang uhaul. I was supposed to pickup at 10 am process took an hour peoples time is important especially trying to get the truck back on time. I hope this the last time I have to use yall made me feel some type of way

Having to deal with submitting a dispute over missing pads when my original invoice clearly did not rent any pads is a poor way to end an otherwise pleasant experience. Shame, but would recommend others NOT to rent from this location.

Thank goodness I was driving below the speed limit or else I would've hit the curve. There was no inclement weather. Not to mention I had my child in the truck with me. The truck was NOT safe to drive at all! Though I was on a schedule, I stopped back at the pickup location on my way to where I was moving, but because they were so busy, I left & continued the rest of the 2mls left to my destination. This was a replacement for the larger size that I originally ordered since the expected truck wasn't returned on time.

On this occasion the trailer that I had came off my truck as soon as I drove off and ended up hitting my truck glad no bystanders were hit as it happened on the lot and bystanders were walking around the lot. I ask for a different trailer as I didn't feel safe towing it. Manager gave me a hard time getting a different one and finally switched the trailer.

The guys was uneducated on how to unhook the trailer from the truck to unload my vehicle. As we began to pull off after asking him if we was good to go to unload the truck several times he stated yes, so as we was pulling off to unload the trailer was still half way attached to the truck so my son had to unhook us fully cause the uhaul worker didn't and he had move on to the next customer. There was more thi gs that went on at all three uhaul facilities that we came in contact with and I will be filing a full complaint.

Units should not be sized by the truck that is being rented. We had a tall entertainment center that simply would not have fit in the unit. We were told that the 10x10 was the largest we could get. We wound up getting a much larger unit and there's not much room leftover. We had a 20x20. And threw alot away.

My move out date was for April 1, 2023 and I moved out March 29, 2023. Ebony took the late lock off for me on March 29. I have my lock with me. I was told I had no more time than that. I have the paperwork. Ms Natalie has been saying that she was going to get this straight but hasn't. I owe nothing if I moved out by April 1 is what I was told.
