Leslie JImprove customer service. Staff ignored us for 15 minutes and were unfriendly and not particularly helpful. The low tire light was lit up during our rental. Staff said to ignore it but it doesn't inspire confidence. Fortunately our rental was only 19 miles so we decided to take our chances.

lionel jThe battery was for some reason old though the car was a 2023. It died on us three times and we had to get it jumped each time. One time was a mechanic and he said that it was an old battery and couldn't believe it was even in the car.

cindy mJidé is very helpful and efficient. She is always available to answer my questions. I'm very pleased with the service at this U-Haul location. I've been using this storage facility for several years. My only complaint is the continually rising rental fee: I feel I should be grandfathered in and locked down at my current rate which is already almost $40 more than when I signed up for this rental space. PLEASE DON'T RAISE RATES any further for longtime customers, Corporate Headquarters; you are creating hardship. My rate should be locked in. Thank you.

Jenner FThe woman that assisted us was difficult to work with. I'm not sure why, but her overall demeanor was off putting. If I am ever forced to rent a truck from this UHaul site again, I hope that she is not the person that processes the transaction. Customer service training would be helpful at this site. She was rude and clearly annoyed by the presence of customers.

They must be chasing away 3/4 of the business and they are well known in the community so i am not saying anything that is not already well known. We would have went elsewhere but they were the only uhaul in nola with trucks and i now know why. I will absolutely not return...

Marshall BThe truck was very clean and in great condition. The staff are some of the rudest people I have ever come in contact with. Also, why have 247 truck share when you can't use it and have to wait for someone to arrive? Also the app instructs you to go to the counter and skip the line. Attempting that results in the NASTIEST attitudes from the workers, once they actually acknowledge you.

Jide, in particular, deserves special commendation. Her years of expertise in addressing my concerns were evident from the start. She patiently listened to my issues, and resolved them quickly; demonstrating remarkable knowledge about the products U-Haul offers. Judith CVan needed an oil change & front tire has a slow leak. Van was clean on the inside but not the outside.
Courtney BThe team member was disgruntled. She was not friendly at all. From the moment I walked in until the moment I was handed the keys and left, her dissatisfaction was evident in her tone of voice and attitude. She was coloring a picture when I walked in, and did not give a proper greeting, for example. She was curt and cold. I checked in online, and the process once I arrived in person was still lengthy. It might have been a classic case of someone having to work a holiday (Mardi Gras) taken to the 10th power.
VON WTruck had a faulty gas needle. The gas needle was suppose to be on half and when I brought it back it was a little under half. I was told I could put gas in it myself I said ok. Paid $27 to get it back to half tank and the needle didn't move. I went less than 5 miles away and paid $27 & still probably gonna be charged that 12,75 for not having it at half. Customer service was atrocious and unwelcoming. It was an overall horrible experience.

JAMES GThe truck we rented broke down and we were expected to wait 4 hours into our day for repair. We turned in the original truck that needed to be repaired at a different location where we rented another truck to be sure we did not break down again later finding out we were charged a fee for dropping off at different location. When renting a truck to move furniture I expect the truck to be in great condition and not inconvenience us while waiting on roadside assistance and truck repair. We should be able to rent another truck and be on our way without the inconvenience. We paid the truck fees and would like to see the drop off fees to different location waived due to inconvenience of truck breaking down.

Only one problem the train that had nothing to do with U-Haul trying to make it after work before office close hoping the railroad will let you pass before blocking the tracks .& sitting on the tracks
Voncile J | Expérience généraleI think these trucks need to be updated it felt like it was being held together with duck tape and frankly it was terrifying to drive on the highway. The mirrors couldn't be adjusted and one was shattered. Some piece of the back was loose and would bang every time we took a turn which was unnerving.

Allaina JI was charged a $75 cleaning fee for leaving an empty water bottle, to go bowl and the rental paperwork in the truck. Took them more time to take a photo and upload it then to take the one handfull of trash and throw it out. I dropped the truck off after hours and there was no trash can in sight. I was taken advantage of. I will never use Uhaul again.

Hilda L | Expérience généraleThe few "problems" experienced through the years I would attribute to the staff being spread a bit thin when a bunch of customers all wanted attention at the same time, which is beyond anyone's control. I am more embarrassed by the behavior of my neighbors, which your staff always handled with tact and aplomb. Not only would I recommend your facility to others, I recently did. A local neighborhood association needs a small storage space for materials needed only once a month, but was told none were available. I related that I was vacating my unit, but the space is too large for their needs and budget. If something does come available, please reach out to me so that I can connect the involved parties.

But, the storage facility needs air-conditioning, It was hotter, inside, than outside. A restroom would be nice, for after office hours.

I mean, I get it; you're not making $100K to work the desk at UHaul. Nevertheless, when I just starting v out in the employment world, I took pride in my job and tried to exceed every customer's expectations. I spent about $25 renting a van for a couple hours and I'll spend $270ish for a couple months storage. I understand that shouldn't come with a neck rub but a little feigned courtesy might be nice. There's no such thing as "too big to fail." Just ask Blockbuster. I'll shop elsewhere next time.

William F | Premières impressionsBad attitudes. Hard to access parking close to storage entrance because it's always blocked with uhaul trucks. It's very inconvenient when you're trying to get items from storage because the sliding doors are not unlocked at the time the facility opens. They lock the sliding doors sooner than the time of closing. When there's only one staff on site, it's a long wait time to have a truck moved to get to the storage entrance. I moved to a new cleaner storage with better access, friendlier staff.

Wide door access ( which my tools require) was limited to 7pm instead of the agreed 10pm. This limited my revenue also. The area was clean. The teck card swipe access was not maintained. Phone calls to the main company were not effective. I was told by corporate that the onsite manager had to fix this. The on site management said I had to speak to corporate amd only c9roorate could fox this . Communication was dysfunctional. I left and went to competitors for better service at a cheaper price. The on site people were fine.

Natanya L | Premières impressionsI was in need of storage and the Uhaul on St Claude was definitely not the best price, n'or did it have AC, but location was important to me. I signed up on line and had the customer representative help me with the rest. Took about 30-45 minutes from start to finish. She then walked me over to the entrance, explained how to get in and then pointed to a STAIRCASE and told me there was no elevator. Get the heck out of here!!!! I wanted to scream. I had to walk away to compose myself. Had to cancel the entire transaction. Complete waste of my time. I hope I never go back for a truck rental or anything. Customer service reps NEEDS to explain this ASAP. Makes NO SENSE to have a second floor and no elevator. DUMB!!!!!!!

Kevin F | Expérience généraleMy storage was not secured I have items missing and they allowed someone that was family in my storage and took items out of my storage my storage was in my niece name Monica Ramsey before I took her off and put it in my name because I figured out what they was doing to secure my storage and on top of that they tried to block me from paying my storage rental I had somewhere else . When things you put into a storage unit is not secured and employees allow other people to go in there when I was paying my storage myself is not COOL on all levels . My niece had the keys and key card before I got to New Orleans so she was able to do whatever before she gave me the keys to the lock and access card to get in. This is really not cool at all

Renting a storage unit in many cases indicates a personal trauma, transition and possibly economic hardship. Over the last two years I've been a customer because of some extreme difficulty ... I can't tell you how above and beyond these ladies go. If uhaul has a national customer service award - I nominate them and will publicly tell the story of compassion, humor and assistance over and over given To me. They are number one!!!
