james G.Almost everything regarding our experience was flawless - we did run into issues with the Unloaders that we booked through the Moving Help system, the moving company went MIA when it came time to deliver and unload our box at our new address. Fortunately the U-Haul and Moving-Help customer service teams were able to find me a replacement. It was a brief moment of panic, but ultimately avoided in the end.

Larry M.While the employees working out of the Rancho Dominguez/Carson facility are very good at what they do, there is room for improvement in the "soft" skills when it comes to customer service. In an attempt to get a clearer sense of delivery time, we contacted the number provided and encountered what sounded like a very unhappy employee because we interrupted lunch. That employee didn't need to answer the phone if on lunch and could have asked nicely if we could call back after a certain time. We did apologize for interrupting lunch, explaining that we only wanted to get a sense of when our delivery might come (less than 2 hours, or more than). We also had a similar scenario when talking with the office directly. A bit more emphasis on improving customer service skills might go a long way since the physical skills for the actual delivery/placement of Ubox are excellent.

Lyn S.Service was great up until the store called me claiming I didn't return the truck. I was told “The keys are here but the truck isn't†which doesn't make any sense because why would I drop the keys off take a truck. They asked for an approximate time that I dropped the truck off then stated “Oh let me check the cameras and get back to you!†I honestly feel like the cameras should've been checked prior to calling and claiming I didn't return a truck. What would I do with a big u-haul truck anyway? Store it in my storage facility?!?!

john H.This was the worst experience I have ever had with moving. I had all 6 containers ready, and they only delivered 2 and told me I had to pay another $600 for the other 4. They didn't deliver them on the date I had chosen; costed me more money because we had nothing to sleep on; so, I had to go buy air mattress for everybody. The manager had a very nasty attitude when I ask for some type of reimbursement. They were lying back and forth and the complete mix up was between the delivery company they had chosen to bring my stuff and tried to say I never set up a date; but 2 came on the date I set up. I will never recommend u haul for this service like some did to me and I turned down other companies for them and on top of all this; I have a life and death medical condition and they didn't even care that I had left my medication in the refrigerator expecting my stuff to be here that friend. i didn't get it until that Monday....it was hell. They did give me a $109 and I was out of $500 if not more to take care of my family for the weekend, because we had nothing. The 2 containers that was delivered was no use to us to live from....sad.
