JARED CEveryone I talked to and worked with was courteous, professional, and efficient. The interior of the building was neat and made me feel welcome. The Cargo Van I rented was clean throughout. I was carrying a queen size mattress, and the floor of the cargo van was so clean I could set the mattress right on the floor of the van. Next time I need to rent a cargo van or truck, this is the U-Haul I will call!

Janet P | Expérience généraleSo let's be honest, the reason I had to go to this location is because the other Castle Rock location was closed 20 minutes after I picked up the junk trunk with the exhaust leak. Nathan at the 2269 location deserves a promotion, he rocks and was a huge help in getting me a truck that was in good shape in preparation for my long drive to Arizona. SO what you are missing is the whole drop off in Mesa, AZ again a BUST, these mom and pop places where they are not open in the middle of day in on a Monday do not work, took me almost an hour to drop off the truck in Mesa due to the poor U-Haul app not accepting pictures.

I got charged an extra 3 gallons for being slightly below the half tank mark like the way they gave it to me. I had a feeling they'd do this so I took a photo prior to driving off the lot.

Now, I ain't one to heap praise without good reason, but those boys? They were slicker than a greased hog at a county fair. With charm and precision, they wrangled my mess of a move like it was nothin' more than a Sunday stroll. I was fully expectin' to be up to my neck in trouble, but Zach and Josh, well, they made quick work of it. I reckon they could've packed the devil himself into that U-Haul without so much as a wrinkle in their brow. Now, let me make somethin' real clear-service like that don't come easy, nor often. These boys went beyond the call of duty, faster than a six-shooter on a Saturday night. Zach, with a wit as sharp as a razor, and Josh, cool-headed and steady as they come, had me grinnin' ear to ear by the end of the day. If you're fixin' to move or store somethin', I do declare, you'd be a fool not to ask for those two gentlemen. They'll have you squared away quicker than you can say "I'll be your Huckleberry," and I reckon you'll walk away smilin' like a cat that just ate the canary.

The guy with long hair was rude for no reason. He had no idea what he was talking about but insisted on interrupting our conversation anyway then stormed off when he couldn't comprehend the nature of our discussion. Josh was helpful and resolved my issue. My card still has a $191 over charge and multiple $11 insurance charges that should have been credited back. I'm wondering how long it take to get those refunded.

Charles B | Expérience généraleWe were fraudulently charged for disposing of 3 mattresses that we did not own, touch, move, dispose of, or in any other way have any contact with. It took 3 weeks and 3+ hours of phone calls to finally get this somewhat resolved. Pamela, the PM, was rude and unhelpful. Angel is one of the worst customer service people we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. The entire facility staff were rude, unhelpful, disrespectful, combative, and wholly unapologetic for these fraudulent charges levied against us. In addition, while this was being worked out, we were locked out of our storage unit and were threatened with eviction and the removal of belongings. The assistant manager, Jimmy, was the one and only remotely helpful person in this experience. I doubt we would have the charges reversed if it had not been for him. However, as a result of this fiasco, we have left the facility and are storing our belongings elsewhere. This entire experience has left us irritated, angered, and disgusted. As a result, we will never utilize UHaul for any reason in the future. We were the wronged party in this matter and keeping $300 for 2 weeks while rudely and disrespectfully yanking us around (and then acting in the end as though a favor had been done) is truly incomprehensible to us. In the end, we regretted not involving law enforcement in the matter as we firmly believe that the staff is running some kind of scam on innocent renters.
