Tim AGot charged for 2 trailers, when I only needed one. They messed up my drop off location as I stated multiple times and asked just to make sure. They didn't know how to hook up the trailer so I did it myself. Maybe took an hour to check me out, and finally leave the lot. Ended up getting the wrong trailer after all and never got any confirmation about a license plate or something. And then they tried charging me $300 bucks after the initial amount I was charged already 2X for. And when I opened the trailer there was trash in it like loose papers and an old box. So not happy. Would like a refund.

April W | Premières impressions1st trailer I received was full of trash from the previous customer. I wasn't aware until I had driven to my home had to drive back to receive a new trailer. This cost me time and gas. When returning my trailer had to enter store twice before receiving assistance to unhook trailer and get it returned. That took up another 30 minutes of my day. Hopefully this problems will be corrected for your future customers.

Only a large parking lot would make it better but this location is in a crowded area with businesses all around it. I liked this location because it is only a few miles from the house we were loading up so it was very convenient.

They called and left message at an incorrect number and weren't willing to adjust rates or do anything to make it easier for us. The location was out of our way and with freeways closed it was really a hassle. Not sure if we will rent again.

Raymond DI chose this location because there were real U-Haul employees there. I did want the hassle of using the phone app., dealing with people that are using this as a side gig in addition to their real business such as selling pizza or storing boats. The reviews of the side gig places always contain complaints about additional billing and issues. I did not need additional issues on top of moving 849 miles. he attendants at this shop were solid guys. The young guy - two weeks new- asked his supervisor about things he was unaware of. The supervisor seemed to be a good mentor for a young person entering the work world. I will use this shop again when the time arises.

However UHaul online stated that we were to rent at 125 W Hampton Mesa, AZ and when we arrived on location there was no office so we went to the office at 447 W Broadway Mesa, AZ one staff was training and the other was rude. The storage unit we reserved was not available and we had to go to another location at 2947 E Main Mesa, AZ. This was not acceptable from Uhaul corporate to reserve a storage unit and not have the unit available upon move in.

Here it did feel as if we are locking it up and it's secure but we didn't get the same sense of security for the overall property that we would get where there is staff that walks though and picks things up.

It hasn't been working since then(2+ months). I keep asking for it to be fixed, otherwise I have to run into the office to check in. They say use the other one at the other end of the property. Not convenient..The office staff is great though

After loading their trailer, which worked well, and driving 20 hours we were told that because their units were 75 % full they could not rent to us with the bargain of the first month free. This was what the online booking assured us of. They offered us another Uhaul establishment down the road. It was over 100 degrees and we were exhausted. Plus, we had already finished filling out all the paper work. We bit the bullet and paid for ALL months. So, it was a bait and switch!! The place was clean and the people were kind, just stubborn. We live out of State and could NEVER EVER get them to answer the phone at this establishment!!! VERY upsetting. I will NOT book a unit with Uhaul again.

They even e-mailed us a receipt showing first month paid. When we got to the storage facility, they said they did not have to honor that offer and did not give us a free month. We tried to contact U-haul customer service to complain and and despite their assurances that they would look into it, they never got back to us with any resolution after numerous calls to try and get an answer.

The sign says that the temperature range is supposed to be between 62 and 85 degrees but the thermometer in the building was reading over 100 and it was very hot inside. Everything else was perfect. Plenty of moving carts, very clean facility, and easy to navigate.

The alarm system was a hit or miss if it worked. But don't worry, it would automatically kick on in 15 minutes. When we checked in they said they would not honor the free month promotion because units were in high demand. Originally given a unit on the 2nd floor but the elevator did not work. Luckily they had a unit on the 1st floor or we would have had to go elsewhere which would have been a major inconvenience especially if storage units were in high demand in Phoenix.

michael j | Expérience généraleOne and half years ago I rented a storage unit. The key pad closest to my storage was inoperative. Yesterday the same key pad was inoperative. You have to use a keypad halfway down the building and walk back up to my unit. I am a disabled Vietnam veteran. Walking all that way 3 times was painful. Please fix the keypad.

I paid a month in advance for May 2021 via a phone call from Chris saying my account was past due (even though I set my account up on recurring twice and money wasn't taken out properly) and when I arrived yesterday May 23rd I was locked out of my storage room. This has happened twice during my 6 month rental period. Lock should have been removed when I made payment to Chris early May. Thank God the office was open. Reps are not helpful, unfriendly, not trained properly. Originally I reserved a 10x12 back in November 2020 and when I arrived to rent truck and get storage room I found out they gave my unit away and was given a 10x10 storage unit that had broken door. Had to request that it be repaired. Staff was rude and acted like they didn't care and was told I could move my contents to another unit. Wow... May 23rd my car was hit by Uhaul driver in parking lot at Broadway location. Again, inadequate training! Staff should not have been driving a Uhaul truck without proper training. Horrible experience with Uhaul... repeatedly.
Sherry J | Expérience généraleWe are leaving U-Haul because of our experience with this particular storage facility. We have repeatedly left messages for the manager, Jeff, to call us but he never did, we've repeatedly gone into the facility, but we can rarely catch him. The door to our unit building was broken when we first moved in and it took WEEKS to get it fixed. We tried to stress to the young man, who was behind the store counter, how important it was to get it fixed and have our belongings secure especially since it's not gated. His response to our concerns? He said that they had cameras that would record the thief's face and hopefully the police could catch him. Two things are problematic with this answer. 1. With COVID-19, most people are wearing a mask so the police couldn't identify him. 2. We didn't want our things to be stolen in the first place and the chances of getting them back, and in good condition, would be about nil. Couldn't believe we were having that conversation... After telling him that if it wasn't fixed within the next few days, I would be calling corporate...it finally got fixed. So... these are the reasons why we have moved our things out of U-Haul and moved them into a cleaner, gated, and well-maintained facility, Extra Space Storage. It' even quite a bit farther away, but it's worth the peace of mind.

When I left I had to take my lock off, they do not pro-rate if you leave early or stay late so that is concerning. When I left an employee with short shorts, was sitting there eating her yogurt, I asked her for a close out receipt, seemed like that bothered her because she had to stop eating. Very rude tone in her voice. There was only on lady there that was present, all other staff was rude and bothered by your presence.

B4 going thru all the paper work and then finding out that the unit will not work ! Due to the location and what I would have to go through just to get there ! Everyone has different items to store...So it would safe alot of hassle and time for the person who is trying to find a storage accessible to his or her needs .

wesley d | Expérience généraleMy experience was less than optimal. The prices on the wall did not reflect the price I actually paid. I was paying 70+ for a 5×10 whereas now I am paying 37 with less hassle to access my unit. The security system would not work correctly and I had to make repeated attempts to gain access. I do however have two positive remarks: Harvest did a good job installing my hitch and the manager was helpful, but there was one staff member who had an attitude and bad choice in hair color. I will choose a different U-Haul location in the future for any rental trailer that I may need. Delpreet was helpful in reducing my monthly fee as well, but I found a better location that is more reasonable. So, price and ease of access were the two main factors in my relocation of my equipment.

She was on her personal cell phone in front of me speaking with another employee rolling her eyes while speaking about my situation. Her response was "look you can wait 2 hrs if yuh what because this is my last priority or I can get you in an unit."

A little disfuntionnal is how I took it..the van I rented was nasty dirty, I've been with you for 4 years and never had issues with my unit but some of the staff need to be a little more friendlyer..

Inch gap under the door that never had weather stripping put on it in spite of asking Manager Jeffrey multiple times and even calling the 1-800 number who sent an email to Jeffrey that was never responded to. When I lifted the door yesterday I discovered that the unit doors had been painted and overspray went under the door and ruined some of our household items. I am now having to file an insurance claim. I spoke with Jeffrey about this and all he would do is print out a form that instructed me how to go through the claim process. I asked if he wanted to see the damage and he said no. Miserable place to rent.

Ricky C | Premières impressionsI went to move my items and a lock was on my unit and called the manager told me to just cut the lock off i didnt have anything to cut it off wit so i had to pay the movers a extra $65 so i could run to lowes to get something to cut it off with..the bad part the customer service rep said they put it on my unit by mistake..i should be refunded $65 i paid the movers as they had to wait a extra hr...
