We showed up at 8:50 to check in for our 9am truck rental. We were unable to use the online check in. An employee had to give us a code to scan to continue with check in. Then we were unable to scan or take a picture of our driver's license and an employee had to help us with that. The total check in time took 40 minutes and the assistance of an employee twice. If online chek in isn't going to work, I'd prefer to check in in person.

The guys that worked at this location were very patient, despite the fact that their computer system was down and they had to use their cellphones for completing transactions online. That made our departure from Colorado 2 hours later. But they also changed one of the tires of the auto transporter that we were renting because one of them looked very well used and for safety purposes, they decided to change it with a newer tire because we were cross-country traveling from Colorado to Washington State. They went above and beyond to make sure that we do not experience the same tire blowout issue in May 2023. Kudos to the team and thank you for looking out for our safety!!!

The one guy that works there outside is fine. He's fast moving. It's not the people. It's U-Haul itself with weird and outdated administration. The van itself is great for moving. But I would not recommend the storage situation that comes with a one way drive. I was charged twice for what was supposed to be free. Was given NO direction ahead of time with how to deal with that. The website said they were open until 7, but only open until 5pm! You have to go to the front desk to get a key to get into your unit. I was practically yelled at for not following rules yet they did not give me any ahead of time in terms of how the locks work. Then the website says there is a gate when there's no actual gate. Every time you go there they hassle you about what or if you owe the next month. It's just a very outdated system.

Stop insisting customers use the App to rent equipment! No sooner did I start that process I began getting multiple duplicate texts & emails daily. The person at this location (Rico?) was less than friendly & interested in customer service. After realizing the app was not working for me he took over on store computer to complete the deal, a process that takes less than 5 minutes rather than much longer on the app. While documenting the scratches, dents and ripped seat, on the app, I was told I had uploaded my limit of photos though there was more to document.

My Master combination lock used to lock the container, was heavily damaged in transit causing the face to be sheared off so we had to use wire cutters to remove the lock from the box.

$.79 a mile is obscene. If you want more money, charge more. The fender wells and gas spout being inside the cargo area forced me to make a second trip because the stuff I had to move was too large to go over them. That almost doubled the price of the rental due to the ridiculous mileage fee. If I'd had time to shop around that would have been a deal breaker. The guys at the location were great. Helpful, efficient, and knew what was up.

My ubox got delivered to the incorrect address. I was told there was no way to track where the box was going or how I could get it to the correct address. They navigated to the wrong address despite the correct address being in the order. Customer service was very rude and informed me I would have to wait until the next day to get my box delivered to my house, meanwhile it's sitting in some strangers drive way. Terrible service and terrible business processes at U-Haul

Both of the guys who work at this location are FANTASTIC! I got a 9' Van and it was new and very clean. We had an issue with the gas level and they corrected it right away. I highly recommend this location!! -Matt

Let me first note that the rating above is more about the check in process than the location which I have rented from for may years with never a problem on availability or service. A couple months ago I rented a PU for part of a day, picked up the truck, and returned it. One of the gentlemen came out, got the mileage after a walk around then went inside and got me the standard paper receipt. This last rental for which I only needed the truck for about an hour was a clown show. I understand that corporate makes decisions but the new check in process with using a phone to get QR codes, then take and upload pictures, etc. is absurd. I was told to download an app which I can't do since I use a a government phone for my work and to take pictures of the fuel amount and odometer. The paper they handed me at checkout noted the fuel tank was full which when I got in the truck it was just above a quarter. Later I was told this was why I needed to take a picture. Really? I ran my errand and was back within an hour (still full day charge of course) and went to check in the truck while it was raining.. The one guy left told me it was self check in, to go back and scan the QR code on the side of the truck and complete the check-in form on my phone complete with pictures after walking around the truck in the rain to take them. I am a senior and use my phone as a phone so this process such as it was took longer than the whole time I was gone with the truck. With much reluctance the employee got off his butt and came out to finish completing the on-line form for me then told me I would get an electronic receipt. I told him I only do paper for my records and needed that before I left. Again with much reluctance he went back in and printed me a receipt. I did ask the obvious question, how does a person rent a truck if they don't have a phone or a phone without all the bells and whistles? He said you don't rent from U-Haul.. Take this all for what its worth as I don't see renting from U-Haul anymore in the future. Though the definition of customer service this day in age has changed.; essentially this was no service at all just two guys sitting behind a desk with computer, credit card reader, printer and the limited ability to do nothing more than point at a QR code on the wall and tell me check-in is now entirely on the customer. No response needed.

Your attendant sat on his butt and drank a coke while I tried to check in the truck for the first time in the app. The app sucked and locked up and he was still unwilling to help. If this is the way you are going, count me out. I will find another place to rent from.

Agent was available and knowledgeable about the different trucks. Transaction was handled efficiently. truck was clean and ran fine. Return was simple. in other words, EXCELLENT!

Uhaul app experience is very poor. As a professional mobile dev I can say that your mobile application specifically for Android, as I didn't try IOS, was riddled with ANRs and non reactive pages. Pickup was especially poor with no option to begin the pick-up process until I opened and closed the app at least 3 times. Then the steps would be slow and cause the app to freeze. Overall I would recommend keeping the UI responsive and handling the other more intensive processes in an asynchronous manner or even on its own thread. Perhaps nobody will ever see this but in case anyone does I hope it can help.

Just really have issues with the app for mobile pickup and drop off (that was the only option today at this location), usually uploading my images. App failed to load next step multiple times and spent near 40 minutes between pickup and drop off dealing with the app issues. Other than that, good experience, but mobile is really an issue.

We have always loved UBOX & working with Uhaul but this experience was a terrible one. First, we were told our second Ubox had arrived & was being delivered only to then spend 2 hours on the phone trying to track it down to learn they messed up and it was still on its way. Then, a week or so later, we got told it had arrived but couldn't be delivered to us for an additional 3 days. Then, the day it arrived, driver didn't call like they usually do, they dropped it off IN THE WRONG PLACE (meaning at a totally different complex). This is so unsafe, these are my personal belongings & uhaul is lucky they weren't stolen. More hours spent on the phone. They "re-delivered it, again didn't call & parked it in our parking lot as far away from our apartment as they could. Causing moving to take even longer. I wasted hours & days of my work day preparing to move in, not being able to, and being on the phone with uhaul. I've asked for the delivery fee to be waived & uhaul said they would call me back - silence, nothing. I used to be such a uhaul advocate but after this experience, I'll take my business elsewhere. Very disappointed in the customer experience.

The moving crates my company rented were filthy and a few were wet. We had to clean each one before using them. This should be a company practice to look at each one, considering there is a sticker on each crate stating that they need to be clean upon return. The service went smoothly for picking up and checking out, which I appreciate.

The only disappointment was having to buy a furniture dolly for about $21 dollars rather than renting it for $14, but that's not a big price difference, so we are the proud owners of a furniture dolly until we can sell it. It did work well, though! Communication was good, but it took me a few minutes to figure out the truck defaults to TOWING/HAULING, even when that isn't the case. One must press a button on a steering column handle to shut it off, otherwise it doesn't easly shift out of first gear.

The storage part of the truck smelled horrible, like old rotten gasoline. I can't get the smell out of my nose, and clothes. It's given me a terrible headache. That truck should be burned to the ground. The service was great, but that truck was nasty.

This Green Mountain Uhaul location is where I will have all my hitches put on, for our family. Fast, friendly above and beyond and super efficient!! Well done. Another experience with Uhaul yesterday 9/10/23 I rented a van from the Wheat Ridge location. The staff was friendly the check in app turned into a nightmare. I will unfortunately never rent from Uhaul again.

The only comment I would have is there was only 1 person working on a Sunday morning which caused a 45-minute wait time in order to pick up the truck we rented. Also, through no fault of the employees, we went to actually rent a truck on Friday but the entire U-Haul computer system was down and we had to move our day. The employees were friendly and did what they could.

The two gentleman that were working that location gave my husband I the best customer service we've ever had at a Uhaul! They were both fast, courteous, polite, and said they were happy to be of service to our community. One man's name was Isaac and I can't remember the other man's name-he was tall, tan, and had a buzz cut! Seriously, hands down the best!!!!!

The U-haul App, that is required to return equipment is the worst I have ever seen. The app did not work!!! I tried after hour return, and the app keep searching the area of the U-haul location that I rented from. The store that I was in, was GREAT. But overall U-haul experience is getting worse BS IS VERY bad!!!

They closed way to early for a storage place! It's been so hot outside that unloading the truck would've been much easier when it cooled down , like 6 - 10…. But the staff was very friendly and helpful and rent for the month was much appreciated!! My apt. is still not ready, but when it is, I'll be there again to rent a truck and load up! Kyle and Isaac were great! They system was down (not their fault) and they did everything thing they could to make sure I got into a storage unit and returned by truck. They were patient and understanding, which is tough when you are understaffed. On the flip side, when I moved out of my storage unit, they were just as helpful! Great service at this location even though they desperately need more help.

Storage was great!!!! I was very happy with everyone that I talked to. I just had a HUGE problem with my truck reservation. As my plane was landing in Colorado to retrieve my belongings my reservation was being canceled. I had to find movers on short noticed which cost almost three time as much as the truck I had reserved and a plane ticket on a holiday weekend. I was not happy with this situation and how it was handled.

Isaac Is EXCELLENT I'd be happy to have my last month prorated and BE REIMBURSED THE $15 The store manager charged me for "late charge". That's not true at all. We had a card on file. And I spoke directly to the store manager face-to-face on the day after the payment was due and he handed me overlock key. If there was a problem with the card he should've said it right then and there. There was no problem with the card therefore I want my $15 back. And I want to be prorated and reimbursed since I only used seven days of storage for a months pay

Overall, the people were very nice and easy to work with. However upon needing to check out, I called over 20 times and there was no response via phone. Very difficult to get a hold of, which caused a lot of time wasted and stress on the back end.

We rented a truck and got a free months storage. We needed to extend that storage 1 week, and they told us they'd charge us for the whole month. $174 for 1 week of storage is bad business. You've lost our business. We canceled the uhaul truck to get our stuff out of storage and went with another company. We also move to a different company for storage.

Your employee screwed a piece of our furniture to the Ubox by using entirely way too big of screws to fix something on the outside of the box. There was no consideration as to what was inside!

My boxes were scheduled for pick up 3 days in advance were not ready & movers lost 2+ hrs. Even then the boxes were improperly loaded, the door was faced away from the lording ramp.
