The manager is very rude and gets angry while working with you even though you are being reasonable and just asking questions. He was literally banging the phone on the counter and yelling at people SUPER PROFESSIONAL. When we called back later, he answered the phone rudely again and we were just asking questions on all the crazy charges on our account to understand what's going on he kind of helped but really just demoralized us for trying to understand the situation 10/10 don't go to this location unless you want a terrible experience
Rebekah BThe main worker running around was super nice and greeted us with a smile. The guy behind the counter (Rick) was super rude to the other worker and us. He was criticizing things we said about our reservation and making me feel incompetent to be the driver because I was a female.

Philip A | Expérience généraleWhen we went to return the vehicle, the return business was closed so we couldn't hand the keys to a person. Then when we went to do the mobile return, the app wouldn't work and wouldn't show that I had a rental under my name. After attempting to get the app to work for 30 minutes we called UHaul to be told that we had returned the vehicle late. We were then transferred and placed on a 30 minute hold to talk to someone about the return not working. Eventually we were able to bring the uhaul vehicle to another place to return it. I was also charged a 100 dollar deposit on the initial payment for using a debit card at the store which didn't seem right.

William HA great way to improve car moving dolly would be to silence rattle. This could be done with rubber wedges, silencing bumpers or shims. silencing would enhance renters comfort, eliminate sound pollution by u haul trailering people and provide you with a great advertising gimmick.
Edward BThere was a slight stale cigarette smell in the van. Recommend snow tires in the winter for better traction, I almost got stuck twice and there wasn't even that much snow.
Angie Fdoor security keypad had issue's a couple of times. was also charged two separate late fees although I had specifically asked the Uhaul rep to ensure my bill was set to 'auto-pay' from my bank when my storage units were set up both times. one of the Uhaul rep' guys didn't know how to use your computer system.

Tyler OWhen originally renting unit I was told ground level and a 10x10. When I arrived to start using the unit it was on the second floor and only 8x10. Pricing was also a little on the steep side. I just rented a 10x20 for MUCH cheaper with someone else.

George WI got a call on Wednesday when we were headed to Helena and they said the U-Haul truck I had rented was stolen. They got us an U-Haul van and it worked out great. When it came time to return the vehicle, our event went longer than expected and this location was amazing. They helped us figure out a game plan and worked with us through the process. Super thankful for this group. Merci.
Brittani BDropping off was easy and the employee was friendly and helpful. The store was clean along with the lot. I have used this uhaul station before and it has always had the friendliest employees, and the cleanest station in town. The employees here are great at letting you know what you need for your move, never trying to oversell items, but getting the right items to make the move smooth. Highly recommend this station to others whether you need to rent outgoing or returning equipment.

Laurretta BIt was a pain in the butt that I didn't get a card so I could open the doors to get to my storage after the office had closed. Didn't like having limited hours of access. So I could only go through the side door at limited hours and then when I'd open my storage, the alarm would go off.

At least three times after office hours the doors with the codes did not work. The latest was last week at 6;55 and the office was already locked up when it says they don't leave until 7. Drove to that one and they didn't have any 15' trucks. Said they had my reservation but didn't hold the truck. What is the point of taking a reservation if you don't hold the reservation

Sher e | Premières impressionsI made a reservation online and had to go to 3 different locations and make a new reservation to get the truck unless I wanted to wait another 3 hours for the original location so I had to spend more money on the miles then I originally thought I would and my plans got pushed back because it took an hour and a half to get it all sorted out. The worker at the location I did get it from was very helpful and understanding and saved the truck for me when I called in at the first location and couldn't figure out what was going on. Over all bad experience but that worker really helped me out.

RUSTIN JThe gentleman in the store Tuesday was not super helpful until the third time I came back in stating that I did not understand how to disarm my unit and that the door kept saying it was denied and not checked in. He finally came out and showed us the correct terminal to use to disarm the unit... then I had to go back in because the lock was not in the unit only for the janitor lady who was chillin inside to say oh yeah we don't do that anymore you'll have to give her one from behind the counter. One of the keys is bent but works. The facility is nice but the young gentleman at the counter was not super helpful.
Caitlyn K | Online Move InI rented a trailer. I knew I needed a 2 inch ball because I called and asked. I also knew I needed a 4 wire plug adapter. I don't know if that information is in the reservation site or in your reservation advance information but it should be. Twisting the safety chains is recommended in your information on U tube but that kind of stress significantly reduces the tensile capability of the safety chain.

If Lyndale is to be regarded as convenient for storage of heavy furniture and other heavy household items, then please kindly replace the second level stairs with ramps because your company is not offering any equipment that allows us to safely get heavy items up those stairs. Now I will have to hire another expensive moving crew to get all of those items out of there and it is almost impossible to find reliable and trustworthy moving crews in Helena who actually want to work. My understanding is that move-in to your K-Mart facility would have been much easier. Also, there needs to be enhancement of the instructions for initial entry into the building. The current instructions are not clear about the fact that we have to input access information on two different keypads before entering.

However, my daughter who attends college in Helena felt the storage unit we reserved may be too small. I went online to reserve bigger unit but couldn't find a way to cancel my previous reservation. When I called the U-haul storage facility, the person I spoke to took care of cancelling my reservation (no hassle) and moved me to a better unit for my daughter than what I originally reserved. Being so far away, I am so thankful for all of the help that was provided. My daughter successfully moved her stuff in and is very happy with the unit and the service that was provided to her. sam g | Premières impressionsOk, SO I had a terrible moving experience (That's what I get for not just going with Uhaul in the first place). I spoke with Taylor, the GM, at my Uhaul branch and she was absolutely amazing! She got me my first 30 days for my storage unit for free and got me a unit close to the door for my very very crappy moving company to deliver my stuff to. The price was comparable to many other storage facilities AND offered heated storage which was a HUGE bonus for me to not have my things in a storage unit where the outdoor temp can fluctuate between -5 degrees and 50 degrees in a weeks period. Every time I was at the unit the common area was clean and well lit. The staff was always super helpful whenever I needed assistance. My only gripe about the whole thing is that their parking situation could be a little better. It was difficult trying to get a Dodge truck and covered trailer in there because loading docks had parking blocks on them that could be easily tripped over loading and unloading trailers (and in my case, made it impossible to lower my covered trailer's loading ramp down, {This however would be a non-issue if you are using a Uhaul rental truck/trailer}) and so the only other entrance to the building is not well designed to handle a vehicle with an attached trailer for unloading and loading, but we got it done. It's because of the STELLAR customer service I experienced with Taylor (The GM) that I will never bother with a moving company again and just go straight to Uhaul for any and all moving and storage needs. PS. PLEASE PLEASE If you choose to use a moving company make sure you RESEARCH and check the Better Business Bureau for that specific moving company.

Staff is great when you can find them and get help. Facility is clean. I've watched maintenance slip further with each month. Mistery water leak into my unit was the nail in the coffin.
