Nothing... my experience was at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Houghton was perfect. The staff were super friendly and extraordinarily helpful. When I arrived to pick up my trailer, they had it all cleaned off and ready to go despite it being the middle of a multi-day snowstorm. The trailer had pulled around right by the front office and the staff even hooked it up to my vehicle for me. Highly recommend this location for your UHaul needs!

The team at U-Haul in Atlantic Mine did a great job helping me with my U-Boxes despite difficult winter weather conditions. They were happy to help and able to be flexible with my timeframes for picking up and returning the trailers. My only problem, was needing to pick up and drop offAafter hours. The Mobile App was having problems and wouldn't complete transaction. I had to to sit and wait 2 hours for the storefront to open. I then rushed to get everything done, so I could bring Truck back during regular hours. 4 out of 5 times I've used the Mobile App I've had issues, other than this time it's resolved itself. It was a hassle but I put up with it. after this issue I won't use it again, it cost me a great deal of time and mental stability. But the folks at this location have always been Top Notch

LeAnne was outstanding with all communications with me, she was extraordinarily helpful. I have a much improved opinion of Uhaul because of this last rental experience, the phone agent who set up the rental was great, the Charlevoix service was great, and Atlantic Mine help was great!

It was great. The only thing we noticed was when it was time to fill up the gas tank, the fuel gauge doesn't say which side of the truck has the gas cap like almost every car has. Might be nice to put a sticker on the dash that says it is on the passenger side. It will save somebody some hassle.

The attendant was available at opening hours and had me drop off in minutes. He even unhooked the trailer and stored it by hand.

This location needs better intake roadway to drop off. It is a very uneven and pot hole area. There isn't very much room. People were nice and location is great. Just need to work on the drop off and pick up intake and outtake roadway. Would also like a discount for early return. Merci.

Tried to do the self check in for returning the trailer in the UHaul App, but the app has some bugs that need to be addressed. Took my pics of the trailer, but could not get back to that step in the app.

Roll-up door was hard to open/lock. Door looks like it might be out of alignment. The door Just looked worn out, but will work for my purposes.

The young man at the desk was so helpful when my life and rested shot. He sprayed it with a lubricant in used pliers to open my unit for me. I could not have done it without him.

Very helpful. We had damage to the trailer lower hinge and they evaluated it quickly, and it was covered by the insurance and all good. I would suggest to all to buy the trailer insurance. I am super careful and when moving things just happen that normally would not.

Great. Super straight forward pickup aside from the dolly. Maybe better instructions on that letting us know to go inside, we just assumed it was already in the back of the truck as we were doing pickup during non business hours

Have the gas tank in the truck filled to full, when picked up. My truck's gas tank was only half-full and it's difficult to bring a truck back with a half-full tank.

It shouldn't be hard for corporate to manage the movement of vehicles to nearby locations where people need them. Luckily I only had to travel 5 miles away this time instead of 90. Still never had a good experience with this company, and to be clear this criticism is more of Uhaul as a whole than any of the singular locations.

Renting a unit right next to the office ment vehicles were often parked in front of my unit. For the nature of what I had stored this was not an issue but I would have preferred to have better access.

My biggest issue was after paying a years worth of storage they didn't prorate the final month of use so I paid for nearly a full month of non use. There were times when snow removal plowed big mounds of snow in front of my doors making access a problem

Moving in and of itself can be stressful and sometimes a frustrating experience. In many instances we are in a hurry as we only have a small window of time to bring or retrieve items from the storage unit. Unfortunately, on more than half of my trips to the facility, I had to ask the employee to move their vehicle as it was parked in front of my unit. In some cases the employee was working with another customer which added to my wait time. I asked that the staff be advised to not park in front of my unit which helped for only a short time. Please have the employees park in an area that will not impact access to the units. It will be appreciated by future renters. Merci -

The staff was unbelievably helpful at all times. They went out of their way to help me. The only drawback about my experience was with pieces of broken glass near the door to the unit, and the storage garage door was difficult to use at time. In regard to the door, I was helped with it by staff. Regarding the glass, I never brought it to their attention.

I did call to set it up but then went to the business directly the next day. Apparently, the person I talked to on the phone did not save my reservation. I had very good customer service and got everything arranged at the business.

Experience was good, however I was charged on June 1 for the unit 11HI which I have already vacated. Next payment was supposed to be for new unit 20QE and scheduled for July 1. Tried calling a couple of times but either no answer or get cut off.

Several storage units had damage from water spring 2019. I only used the unit for 9 months, long enough for severe damage to irreplaceable items. Renters insurance will not cover. Black mold too.
