Being overcharged is the most important thing for me. I use uhaul for a lot of projects. It really makes it hard to trust that I can be charged a correct amount money.

If person owns a car then they do not need collision for extra $11.00. Found out from my husband that this was an unnecessary. But overall, they were very friendly. I would use again.

WAYNE HRadio volume knob didn't work and that was a bummer! Otherwise, no Actual Problems. I even locked the keys in the back of the truck once and was offered a second key right away. This location has always been helpful!

Richard WI don't think there are words appropriate enough to express my appreciation for this location, specifically for Jarrod who installed my hitch and for Edi who helped me with the purchase and fitting me in for the installation, without the 2 of them, I would have lost my job in Seattle Washington. Edi penciled me in for the installation eventhough she didin't have a time slot she instructed me on the type of hitch I needed and said they would do a 3rd party installation, no other U-haul store would help me in the time I needed. I really hope Corporate sees this review because these two people went above and beyond their job, they showed they were people and listened and then helped. Edi said she didn't have a trailer, but that Uhaul would schedule me a trailer to be picked up on Sunday the 17th after they installed the hitch. The trailer reservation Uhaul secured for me was over 2 and a half hours away and if you know anything about I70 in Colorado, you know it's not a real safe drive to pull a trailer and I just wasn't comfortable doing that drive. I called Uhaul back and told them that trailer pickup was just too far and I wasn't comfortable with pulling a trailer from there. This is where everything went so very, very wrong. I don't remember the young lady's name who "helped" me, but she could have truly ruined my life. She cancelled the reservation in Granby CO, which is what I wanted. She then said I could pick a trailer that was bigger, but she would give it to me for the same price as what I initially resereved, so far so good. She repeated back to me that she cancelled the reservation in Granby and I was now going to pick up the trailer in Golden CO, same price as the 4x8. So, backtracking to the beginning of this review. I get to Uhaul on Wadsworth in Lakewood to have my hitch installed. I was there a little early so I was just waiting in my car, something told me to look at the Uhaul app. I looked at the app and low and behold, not only was the reservation in Granby CO cancelled, so was my hitch installation and now they no longer had a space for me, as soon as it was cancelled the next person in line moved in my spot. Keep in mind I had to be in Seattle Wasington on Tuesday morning. My job had given my 3 months to get my things in order to move and I thought I was set and ready but then this happened. So, I am waiting for the Wadsworth store to open. And when they opened, I was so happy to see Edi's name tag. I just said, oh I so happy you're here, she of course had no idea who I was. I told I was the one she helped to buy the hitch to install. She immediately remembered me and then said, "why did you cancel, I thought you had to leave". I told her I didn't cancel, the customer service person cancelled my htich installation reservation in error. She told me to come in and they would figure things out. Jarrod, the hitch installer came behind the counter and Edi started to explain the situation to him, he ask the same question" why did you cancel the reservation", I gave the same answer, I didn't cancel. He said " I got you". Together Edi and Jarrod worked with me and worked me in ahead of everyone because I had to be in Golden to pick up my trailer at 1pm Sunday. So, after the hitch installaition, I head over to Golden to pickup my trailer. Again, I had a feeling so I called the Golden location to let them know I was running a few minutes late, they informed me that they no only not have that trailer, they have no trailers at all. I was beyond livid. This person who changed my reservation, could have completely derailed my life and helped me loose a 90K a year job. She cancelled my hitch installation and reserved a trailer at a location that didn't have trailers !! The last person that helped me, put me in touch with the uhaul in Aurora Co, and worked with me, she was informed of the whole debacle and said she could help me and she did. Edi, and Jarrod, THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!, and the the young woman in Aurora, thank you for the trailer and helping out with the pricing and to the last person in Customer Service, Thank you for putting me in touch with Aurora. And for the person who almost ruined my life, please pay attention to what you're doing, you could have cost me a job. Sorry for the long review, but someone needed to know the heros in my life at that time.

SCOTT ATruck I reserved two weeks prior was not available. Furniture dolly I reserved two weeks prior was not available. Furniture pads I reserved two weeks prior were not available. If you are t going to have the reserved equipment available don't accept the reservation!!
Steve MYour Uhaul app is a horrible user experience. The app is not user friendly, over complicated and unnecessary for a rare event of renting a uhaul truck. Please inform the customer while browsing that they'll be required to use the app even if they choose front desk service, the bait and switch is trashy.

KIRK CEveryone was nice and the space was great. Timeliness in getting the rental was our main concern, we arrived 15 minutes early and didn't leave till 15 after our reservation, making us 15 minutes late to meet the movers we'd reserved through the u-haul website.
Brittany DI loved the staff at this location, they were talking to me not just as a customer but as a friend. I walked in and they explained everything and were so helpful. My return was also a great experience, I didn't really understand the app and the same employee that helped me earlier came out and just took care of it.! Sucks I can't remember her name but she really made my experience easier.

Joy JThe lockbox keypad was frozen solid and spent 10 minutes thawing the ice between my gloves just to access the truck key. The truck itself was clean but the gate was left open overnight, so the inside was full of snow (which then melted and all my stuff was standing in water during the move) and there was a shelf of ice along the truck bed edge that I had to chip away at just to get the gate door to shut and latch close. I get that weather happens, but leaving the door open is unacceptable and I lost 45min of my reservation just correcting things that should not happen, not to mention my boxes and furniture got very wet.

Rosa CFirst, improve the app. It didn't work well for me. 2nd, we had a major snow storm the day of our move and I had to extend an additional day because the tires on the truck weren't suitable for snow. I had a friend driving who had experience as an OTR trucker and he was nervous about the tires.

Did a good job with the hitch install (although not a great job: cut on the bumper was not flush with the hitch; but can only be seen looking at it upwards from the floor, you'd have to lay down to see how it was cut). For the price, still a very good deal compared to other alternatives.
