The manager Nathan, at this location, left the store with another employee leaving just 1 person to deal with a line of customers. Because of this, the employee left behind didn't enter the proper destination for the equipment rented. It was supposed to be one way to Florida, not a local rental. When I tried to put my vehicle on, the carrier ended up not working out for me to get my vehicle. I had to drop off the car hauler in Bowling Green because it didn't work. I was charged $277 because of a "wrong drop off" location even after telling the employee it was to be a one way rental. I tried several times to contact Nathan and after a text and 4 call attempts, it started going straight to voicemail. They refused to accept responsibility for their mistake and are refusing to refund my money.
Ron HI was told I would not be charged a fee for returning after hours. But I was indeed charged $20.

Gary FMy unit was smaller then what was originally ordered and it had a huge vent pole straight through the middle of it which made it hard to fit my stuff in there. I decided to go with a cheaper more fair storage facility.

Theodore FThe store needs to be open during the posted hours. The employee was 45 minutes late opening the store and they randomly closed up early that day. Employee showed no empathy for their tardiness (didn't even acknowledge any of it). I wouldn't be surprised if they were high on drugs. The 26' super mover itself was fine, just getting the truck and dropping it off was highly unprofessional.

DAVID MMy first location for this rental was Trenton Ohio, I was told when I called to customer service the day of pick up that my rental had been moved to an alternate location and was supposed to be notified but unfortunately no one notified. Hence why the call to customer service, the Trenton location was supposed to notify me and they failed to do so, so I showed up and waited until I finally called. Already late to the pickup, thankfully your customer service agent was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. So overall for the Middletown location, 5/5. Which is nothing close to what I would give Trenton for which is 0/5. I hope I can get some reimbursement, thank you for your time.

There is so much wrong you would have to call me

James CTo have the truck cleaned off and ready for pick up. Make sure that the heater works when it is 4 degrees outside.
Jackie HEveryone was helpful and ready for me when I arrived. Checking in ahead of time using the App really helped get in and out fast. Foul winter weather required that I move my reservation a day which was super easy to do. Not sure there was anything that needed improvement.

Marc H1: Our truck had no heat & our tow trailer had no working rear light on one side. 2: Our truck broke down in Corinth, Ky (1,5 hrs into a trip to Florida). It was found by U-Haul RSA t have NO Transmission fluid. We required a Tow, an overnight stay, and a Load change to a new truck the next morning. 24 hours DELAY due to them not doing general maintenance check up on the truck. 3: U-haul's RSA had to remove the car tow trailer in order to load the truck on the flatbed... He said our car was NOT SAFELY ATTACHED to the tow trailer! The chains were not around the car axel even though 2 employees in Middletown hooked up the trailer & supposedly secured the car.

Joshua JThe person who assisted me in hooking up the vehicle needs more training. Once I got to the place to pick up my car. I noticed the brake safety chain was never attached and the light connection was unplugged, because it had been wrapped around the brake mechanism. Causing it to pull out of the plug on the vehicle. If I hadn't done a pre inspection I'm sure law enforcement would have been more than willing to write a citation for this moving violation.

Ruth BAlzzo I didn't notice that I was missing. A few items after I was told to my storage unit was left improperly locked or after locks were removed. A drill, a large screen GPS unit,a smart watch and a few other items. The local staff were extremely courteous and professional.

LEROY HHad a tight time schedule ahead of me, so got to location just as they opened. Had a couple concerns with hitch setup which tech quickly explained. Will say there was some confusion of what was available as the shift from the weekend didn't have the trailer that was accessible in the system. But by the time we got back in from looking at hitch, the tech had it logged and ready for me to check out.
martin gCounter associates were outgoing and friendly. They answered my questions and truly made me feel as if they valued my business. Great experience and I will use this location in the future.

dave cWhen talking to a customer about 1st time 1-way rental please let the customer know that the pick up location will be selected a day or two prior to the pickup date. Everyone at corporate was very friendly and helpful but this one important item was never mentioned until the week of my move so I was assuming some things that confused me when I saw the location change away from my requested location. I would have understood completely if it were explained to me during my first call a month before the move date.

Anthony LA few minutes after leaving facility, the low tire pressure light came on which causes concern that trucks are not checked for that prior to rental.
Tammy SWhile I was checking out my rental, the man helping me was very nice making small talk and apologizing for the slow internet, which was no big deal to me, it was a reasonable amount of time for having internet issues and loading screens and whatnot. However, he was telling me about how he and his son recently visited Dayton, Ohio and how it had gone down hill and how he did not like the city anymore and how the people we're scary and gross. Which, I mean, in his opinion that's okay, although I disagree. But in his complaint about the city he told me he wanted to "shoot everyone there" and the comment took me aback to be frank. Especially being a Dayton native myself, and having friends and coworkers having gone through (and victimized) in the mass shooting that took place in the Oregon district only a few short years ago, it really seemed like quite an inappropriate comment to make to someone during a rental transaction. I quickly changed the subject because I was uncomfortable, and thanked him for his help, but maybe some sensitivity training could be applied here? I don't think the comment was made with malice, but ignorance and I hope this person can learn and grow to be more conscious of his words and the climate in which we all live. I called three times over a three hour span and their computers were down and the next morning when I called the computer froze and the person I spoke to said my card was charged so much and then they went back to charge for gas and it was declined however we had a gas credit?

Michael L | Expérience généraleWell for one they took $100 deposit from me and my son to go move him and then turned around and charged us the remainder amount for the reservation and then charge this again for another reservation then charged us $18 for a fuel charge that was only for an eighth of a tank to find that pretty professional and pretty and valuable and I'm pretty much done with U-Haul after that then the guy had enough nerve to tell me that I was only going to get $32 back no no no I don't agree with that and but you know I was going to sit there and argue with him with a buffoon or an idiot cuz that's all you guys ever hire.

After they blew it out n mopped it was slick in spots. My stuff had been in two units since last November it's now September. While there they increased my rates! One was seriously the size of a small closet. I had no where else to Tammy stuff so I just had to pay up. It was uncalled for in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend to anyone. They say call to resolve disputes. Why? Are they giving money back? I think not!

The staff was helpful and friendly, I would recommend renting trucks Uboxes, and equipment from there but not the storage.

The only negative thing I have to say is they forgot to remove their red lock from the unit before renting it to me and it took about 30 minutes for them to remove it. The manager made sure all the people who came in after me were helped before removing the lock which could have been done between between. It took about 60 seconds once the person walked away from the counter.

The storage units are really nice, it was very clean and seemed to be safe and in good condition. We spent over 3 hours trying to cram everything in there and rearrange the few items we was storing! It was over priced, but the only thing available to me at the time. They weren't willing to take payments on my balance. Only wanted full payment which I simply wasn't able to do, due to lesser hours being worked. My unit was sold because I just couldn't afford to pay the balance. So I had to let family heirlooms go. Very saddened and unhappy with my experience. I won't be back or rent a truck again.

Berry M | Expérience généraleThis was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The man who processed my transaction Sunday morning was shockingly rude. He seemed to have no idea what he was doing and got bitey with me when I asked questions about my rental agreement. I reserved a unit online and he told me it didn't exist, even when I offered to show him a screenshot of the confirmation page. He instead tried to get me to buy a much larger one (at over 50 % of the cost of what I'd ordered) without mentioning that another, only slightly larger, one (just $5 more) was available. I had to specifically ask if this was the case and only then did he conveniently find a comparable alternative in the system after I stood at the counter waiting for at least 15 minutes. When I told him I was having trouble getting the green zip tie off the door and asked if he had a pair of scissors I could borrow, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and smugly told me I needed to use my hands. I very much wish I'd chosen to use a different storage facility.
