I think the truck should have a full tank of gas. It's time consuming and irritating having to go put gas as soon as I get the truck. It's easier returning with a full gas of tank for the next person too.

GERALD PEmployee named HD was very rude when I came in today on 4/2/24 to confirm my over-nifht equipment return of tow-dolly. I advised that I dropped off early since the app said I could do so, and he i.mwduately became defensive aje event stated "you must have an android phone," and that I shouldn't have done such although the app said I was clear to do so. His negative and sarcastic attitude wasn't appreciated at all and doesn't leave le with a good impression of Uhaul.
Bradley BEase of use of 24/7 pick-up. A couple of issues I had were that the truck that was assigned to me was blocked by a tow dolly so I had to go in and ask someone to remove it. Also, the truck that was assigned to me was on empty so as soon as I drove off the lot the empty fuel warning came on. This caused me some stress, so I wish the truck was at its usual 3/4 gas level.

heidi dI received a phone call confirming my return location. I SPECIFICALLY asked the agent if after hours returns were available because I NEED to return the truck the same night. They said "yes" but they failed to mention if I needed to drop off after hours the app is required. I spent 20 minutes or so just trying to figure out how returning after hours worked, and this was happening around 11pm in a new area. The actual time spent on the return was 5 minutes.

The representative at the counter conducted herself like a drill sergeant in boot camp, barking orders during the whole transaction. I have never experienced anything like it at any other U-Haul location. The picture i was supposed to take would not upload on the link and no one available on the lot to assist. In addition, no one brought the truck to me as I had to find it myself. Very unsatisfactory experience.

Thomas PWhen I arrived Saturday morning at 9:45am to pick up a 26 foot U-Haul Truck, there was a substantial amount of customers waiting in line with only 1 customer service representative working. She was amazing running between two separate desks to keep the line moving despite the continuous influx of customers. She treats her work with great attention to detail and is very consistent because this is the second time I have seen her on a Saturday morning taking care of what seems the entire business by herself. She is clearly a key employee. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her for my own business. The name on my U-HAUL is Meagan L I hope whomever reads this takes the time to commend her as she deserves every bit of praise!

Carlos CThe checkout process for the truck was longer than expected. This was not the fault of the employees they were doing the best they could with only having 2 employees for a long line of customers. This location is clearly understaffed. As far as the truck goes the maintenance is lacking because the steering was absolutely terrible I struggled with driving it because the alignment and steering of this vehicle was horrible! This truck should have never been given to any customer in this condition it is a safety hazard and complete negligence on the companies part.
Trent TI got to the facility around 7 pm to move my stuff into the storage unit, but was told the facility is closed. I told the employee, that the Uhaul app said they closed at 10 pm, he stated that it was incorrect. We had to leave with the uhaul truck and inconveniently move the stuff into the storage unit the next morning, and also the truck in.

One thing that I noticed was that there were no usb outlets where to plug my phone. Yes there was the cigarrete lighter option and the 110 adapter. Yes it is nice to have the the last two options but the usb option is most prevalent in most cars and this truck did not have it
Francisco GI picked the truck up and headed to the storage to load it and realized there was a lock on the back which prevented us from loading the truck. I called roadside assistance and they said it would take an hour for someone to cut the lock. Nobody came so I called again and they said there was miscommunication and someone would be there in ten minutes and that took another 30 minutes. I am upset because I had to wait and could've been done sooner. I would like a credit.

Andrew HIf you have a known issue with people stealing gas from your vehicles at night, the vehicles should be inspected in the morning and the customer should be informed, when the vehicle is assigned to the customers. The positive outcome, I received a gas refund upon my return.

Janet JI received email indicating I need to pickup from one location. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I was told that my pick-up location is transferred to the new location. I need to go there and pickup truck from there. I went to other location and at other location I was told for the trolly I need to go back and pickup from there. How inconvenient that can be for any customer you can imagine. For returning the truck and equipment, I was required to go to two locations.

Ryan G | Premières impressionsIn August 2018 when i first got the storage room no problem payment on time even doing covid pay my bill on time in 2021 that's when it started to get crazy didn't want my niece to hav access to the storage room she been on my list of proof authorization to go in there and they still wouldn't let her go in there at the beginning I told them I get my disability money on the 3rd of every month and I can come in on the 4th of every month and pay it no problem from August excuse me September 2018 come forward all of a sudden when my niece started paying the bill that's when problems started happening U-Haul went back on their word but it's good she said she took everything out and closed account so I don't have to worry about helping her pay the bill no more and whenever use U-Haul ever again I'll find another company if I ever need a service like that ever again and I wish I can give you a bad rating

I had to wait until next day to unload and then was given a smaller unit than what I had reserved.Also had to buy an "Approved" Lock and told to take off the lock I had placed on my unit. Why can I not keep my stuff secure with the lock of my choosing instead of the generic, overpriced lock that they sell. Absolutely unacceptable. When I moved out everything was running smoothly until I parked the truck to grab some Lunch. Came back and the truck didn't turnover at all.i had driven that truck no more than 1.mile from the Storage facility. Waited 4 hours in that parking lot for a tow truck. Had to be towed to my address and unloaded a day later without the help I had the day before. I will personally never use U-Haul services again. A person can only take so many screwups by other people.

It has an "alarm" but doesn't help cause I wasn't notified immediately, I'm sure if the alarm worked, mgmt would have been notified and then they should have contacted us. I was told "I was going to call you to let you know during my rounds I noticed your lock was gone," this was after we discovered it was broken into. Even tho' the staff is friendly, doesn't make up for the lack of security (considering the city we live in) and notification. For the price I paid a month, they could do better!

The back area and they allowed homeless people allow walking yhru so a lot of pass time entered in and out on the UHaul property. STILL the FENC E i is And it's OPEN for ENTERTRANCE ! POOR UHAUL People are Pitiful thoughtless towards their Customers ! The Have Done wrong too US !

The staff specifically ridiculed my fiancé's payment method during a national pandemic while the storage manager giggled beside her. My fiancé called the corporate number and filed a report but nothing ever became of it and there was no follow up. Afterwards, we still received harassing phone calls from unprofessional staff. I will never deal with this company again after how my fiancé and I were treated. I'd rather lose all my items in storage, than deal with unprofessional staff, uncaring management, & bad business practices. This behavior for a business can never be acceptable and I will advise anyone who will listen against using your company.
