Great customer service, but returning using the app was a bit of a challenge...the cellular internet service (AT&T) is weak at your location and the wi-fi doesn't work well outside.

Jonathan SYour 5+ hour IT outage on Friday, March 29 could not have happened at a worse time, end of the month, ahead of a active weekend. The lack of IT attention to this issue which blocked employees and customers from booking rentals is unacceptable. Working in IT with software that monitors these sort of web applications allows me to understand how impactful this sort of outage is on your business and reputation. I only hope that your senior managers take proper steps to address this clear violation of customer trust.

Steven WI rented a van to drive 1800 miles 1way. Thankfully before loading the van with moving stuff we took a trip to the goodwill. Also in Amherst. That van did not make it 20 miles. It would not properly shift and had warning service lights on. We were told that was common. Needless to say we replaced it before leaving our area in nh. Shame on them for attempting to send me off cross country in a seriously unsafe van.

CLAUDIA HDeb was excellent only issue I had was my drivers license was from mass but I was renting a truck to help my daughter throw stuff out at the Milford NH recycling. My daughter lives in Milford NH. I was questioning why I was renting a truck because my license was out of mass. I told her what it was but in a way I was feeling interrogated . That was the only issue but overall friendly staff and the establishment was very clean .
Carlos SThe trailer I rented did not fit the vehicle for which is was intended. The UHaul website indicated it would fit a Tesla M3, but the stopping plates were too high for the front bumper to pass over. Therefore, I had to return the trailer to a different location than intended and have requested a full refund for this inconvenience.

KURT FThe trucks were clean my only complaint is…. I have rented 2 trucks from this location in the last month and half and both trucks had broken driver seats. I am short so I need to pull the seat closer to the steering wheel and I could not do that on both trucks.

Keith TI rented a 20 ft truck for 24 hours. The battery died , 10+ year old battery in it) the truck smelled of anti freeze , it also died in the middle of driving. These trucks aren't serviced don't rent unless you have a bunch of time to diddle dally .

I took the uhaul van, and on the way to pick up the furniture the person I was picking it up from called me and said they couldn't meet me. I turned around and went back to uhaul and told the uhaul representative that had checked me in what had happened. She said that was awful and I probably wouldn't be charged. I went a total of 14 miles and was charged $64 for it. Find someone else to use. This was a complete ripoff.

Kent BEveryone working there were friendly and helpful. I love the huge driveway to the massive building which makes it easy to drive up and park right up close to the door. Automatic door entrance and massive elevator makes it easy to navigate.

Phil BDrop box lock difficult to align code and difficult to unlock. Drop Boxes not under a roof area so when it's raining you are getting wet trying to unlock a difficult lock to unlock, even with the correct code. Inside staff slow to respond/help. Self check-out app on mobile device fairly good except for last set of prompts.You're on the final screens of the self-checkin app and you are expecting to see the lock combo and the number of the drop box the key is in. That information is not provided until you click the final pushbutton, which states something to the effect "Rental has been picked up". Misleading. I didn't and wouldn't have known padlock combo was provided on the screen once you clicked on that pushbutton. My sense would be that I would click on that button once I have obtained my padlock combo and obtained final possession of the vehicle. The scene for me was the following, it's cold and raining, I'm waiting by the key boxes getting wet because they are not under a roof, I'm trying to find the combination but it isn't available until I clicked the pushbutton, "Rental has been picked up". I go inside after walking around front of building because side doors are locked. Inside staff slow to react and respond. They eventually do but need to be prompted to do so. Staff member has difficulty unlocking padlock , even with correct padlock combination. You have completed the online process, but staff member questions this, because she hasn't updated her online menus. You are a bit frustrated by the process, the staff member detects this, and farewells you with a "Have a nice day" because she feels you are being difficult. That I could do without, I needed helpful and attentive staff, that can be friendly to make the process even quicker. I do like the self-checkout and check-in mobile app, that last pushbutton needs to have a different label. Something to the affect, "Obtain padlock info". I do like the ability to obtain a vehicle through U-Haul. Overall it's a convenient process, but there is always room for some improvement. Thank you for making these vehicles available to the consumer.

RAMON T | Premières impressionsThe people at UHaul are fantastic. The trucks need to step into the 21st century. Most States required hands free devices to make and receive calls. Although the hardware was in place, the software did not allow me to connect my phone. I wanted to have my GPS audible through the truck speakers as the cab is uninsulated and extremely loud. Perhaps UHaul could invest in their trucks so that customers could function on long trips.

That wasn't the issue because they were so kind and I'm very patient and understanding. It was when the woman Debbie came in. My father was just trying to explain things to her and she gave so much ignorant attitude but if it wasn't for my dad I would have walked out. She would cut him off every second she could because she was training which she could have simply stated " I apologize for the wait but I'm walking him through this if you could give me more time" would have sufficed. I work at a hospital and customer service is our number one priority. I'm sorry but I never complain but it felt like she was being prejudice towards my father for being Hispanic who also retired from Harvard university and earned a degree in his free time. I'm just really disappointed because my father should have never been cut off mid sentence as she did. Now I will sue the trainees had more customer service than she did and I believe they make more of an asset than she ever will. I think she should learn from them. Not only was it such a long process but to deal with an attitude such as that was not worth it. I will compliment on how clean it is and that one trainee I wish I remembered his name was an absolute sweetheart who showed me how to work the card and where my storage was. Please give praise to the trainees because they were amazing but Debbie needs more patience if she wants to work in customer service. It was kind of pathetic.

I needed packing supplies and was going to just get your run of the mill tape and boxes. The employee (I wish I knew his name, but I believe he is the only male) pointed out many other options. The bubble sealable bags on a roll have made life much easier! It is always a pleasure dealing with Deb. She is friendly and very efficient. The facility is clean. This particular UHaul represents your company very well. I hope you let them know they are appreciated. They have made a very difficult time in my life far less stressful.
