Gilbert CutruzzulaTruck was returned without damage. The return faciality in Pleasant Hills PA is very poorly designed with little to no room to return rentals and or park. The lot was so congested during my return I had to back out of the entrance, go down the road and turn around and wait for congestion to clear to return the truck. After I finally was able to get into the lot and park. I went into the building and was told if it was just a return to leave the keys and contract in the truck and I would get a receipt emailed to me. Not what I consider acceptable customer serve but I did what I was instructed to do. What a mistake. I did receive a receipt that evening along with a bill for $426 in damages and a note that stated I was in an accident when I returned the truck on 3/23. I went back to the location on 3/24 again very congested and busy. After waiting in line and the associate that I explained my problem to called the manager that was not on site. I was advised at that point that they must have assigned the damage to the wrong truck and it would be corrected. I have video taken on 3/24 verifying no damage to the truck I rented. Then again on 3/25 I received a receipt for my rental along with a $426 bill for damages. I do not think it should be this difficult to correct your mistake.

We started to unhook it going to use the self-return, and a lady came out with gloves, unhooked the trailer like a pro, and told me it wouldn't be checked in until the next day. She was great! Wish I caught her name. Overall a great experience with UHaul.

Randy WehuntWhen my wife got to the Pleasant Hills, PA U-Haul location to get our reserved truck on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 9:00AM, there was already a long line of customers who got there before us. For whatever reason(s), there was only 1 U-Haul worker, Joshuan N. I don't know if the other U-Haul worker got fired, quit, was sick, or was in jail. Joshua N. did an excellent job being a 1-person show helping all customers before me, moving trucks, then hurrying to the next customer. I hope you give Joshua N. a pay raise and give him a promotion! Thank you to Joshua N. for all of your hard work today, Michael Averbach

Sign says to wait in car for someone to come out - - no one ever came out. I went inside and turned in keys. I've had a more professional experience at the U-Haul on Library Rd in Bethel Park and will go there in the future.

I told him I would wait until he checked vehicle because I wanted to know what my extra charge would be because I knew I went over my miles. He got an attitude with me.

Frances WrightTailor your pricing for each customer. I had the van for 1,5 hrs and was willing and did take a filthy vehicle to help out this location. I also added $10 in gas so, essentially, I paid $62+ for 1,5 hrs of use. Seems a bit much. Just sayin.

Supervisor clearly is an asset to the location. Coworkers struggled with procedure and were ill advised on computer operations both times.

John MetrovichPeople who work at the location should prep the online truck share better. The truck I was assigned was blocked and the key wasn't in the locker. Had to ask that a different truck be assigned to me. Truck was damaged and also had a broken sun visor that kept falling into my vision while driving. I was also overcharged for gas, gas prices are not $4,75 at this time.
Matthew PfisterWhen I returned the vehicle, I pulled into the designated spot. At the designated spot, there are signs stating to wait in vehicle and someone will be out to check the vehicle. I sat in the vehicle for almost 30 minutes. Fearing I was going to be charged a late charge, I walked inside to find 4 of the employees doing absolutely nothing. One of the employees greeted me and I returned the keys. I was asked if an email receipt was fine and I agreed. I have not received the receipt. Also, I prepaid for more miles than I used so I should receive a refund for 9 or 10 miles and I have not received it yet.

Branden RobertsonI have been charged for a uhaul when I returned it within 24 hour with the right amount of gas in it, no extra mileage then the 50 miles I said. I ask for a receipt emailed to me. The 2 young guy's working was to worried about eating there Chick-fil-A first before it got cold. I called the night before to let them know I would be bringing the truck back before 4pm the next day.

John HannaOnline check in is a joke. Had to retake license picture multiple times. Then when that was finally done, truck wasn't where it was supposed to be. Had to go inside to find someone & they couldn't locate the key. Then after locating the key, they couldn't locate the truck. After finally getting the truck, it had enough gas to make it to the nearest station. The entire process was a hassle that was supposed to be easy with online reservation & pick up. Almost 45 minutes to just pick up a truck.

A moving blanket was destroyed by the mice. I haven't been through everything to see if anything else was damaged by them. Other than that, everything was as I left it 6 years ago.

Meaning rotten and rats can move from one unit to another. You can smell the malt balls odor throughout the storage facility. The facility looks clean and orderly. Please request and ask to see these units. To see my points. I can't recommend this facility to anybody. They certainly have a rat problem at this location. This is the honest God 'TRUTH'.

Rene Forbes | Premières impressionsMy unit had mouse droppings in it. When I showed Jessica, she said she would have some one clean it. Whoever cleaned it didn't clean it all up. There were several locations in the unit with mouse droppings. I loaded my belongings on one side of the unit and will see if someone can clean the remaining droppings. Or I may do it myself. I know many storage units have mice, but at least TRY to make it look like you don't. . The locks don't work well on the units either. I have to go back up to have them drill a bigger hole so the lock actually works. The unit should have been cleaned and inspected before I checked in. I wish I could say I'd recommend it, but I can't right now. Fortunately, I will only need it for a few months. If this were going to be a longer term rental, I think I'd look elsewhere.

We had a truck full of furniture that would have been too tall to fit in this unit and also a fridge. I was never told the type of storage I was offered was short. So only a small load of stuff was brought there. I had to rent another place Saturday from A normal style storage unit. The uhaul storage was free to us however the unplanned mileage put on the uhaul truck cost me extra money. I will be contacting uhaul about this because not only did I have to rent a unit elsewhere I now put an additional 20 miles on the truck. And ontop of that I'm going to have to pickup everything I did put at the uhaul facility another day.

Cara Taucher | Online Move InI made several trips to move out. Once, the sliding doors weren't opened. This was around noon, so it wasn't because it was off hours. This made it very difficult to move out using the door, which is down a narrow hallway. I called to let them know it was locked and waited on hold for over 15 minutes. Apparently, you get kicked over to a hotline when you call. She was no help, said to just go inside and tell them. I said I will not, that nobody wears masks that work there, even though it's required by our Governor to wear them in businesses. Once, I came a little after 7pm, and access to the storage units were closed. Online and on the sign, it is posted that OFFICE hours close at 7pm, however it states that access to storage units were to be until 10pm. Wasted trip all the way down there. Because of that, I had to scramble to move out the day of. There is always junk in the parking lot, at least by the loading dock where I frequented. Because I made so many trips every day to my unit, I noticed some used band-aids a little further down in the hallway. They were there for days and to my last day, were still there. Everything is so dark and dingy inside, also. Rent kept going up. Once, I received a notice that they were painting, so they needed to raise the rent to keep it maintained. When they painted it looked fresh and new. However, it was not maintained. I noticed when I was moving out, that several holes were patched all around, but never painted over. So, all you see are all these spackled holes everywhere. Lastly, as I mentioned, nobody there wears masks. It took me over a week, making a total of 30 trips to move everything and so I saw several times throughout the week of employees talking close to customers with no mask on. Whether it be showing a customer a new unit inside, behind the the counter at service, or them showing or receiving storage trucks from customers, they never wore a mask. I saw all customers wear them. There is even a sign in their window to please wear one upon entry. I understand it's inconvenient, I know, I moved wearing one the whole time. Some days were very hot, and yet I kept it on for respect of others.

There should be ramp access. The unit door height is also very low which made getting oversized items extremely difficult to get into the unit.
