ANTHONY A | Premières impressionsI have had a storage unit at U-Haul since June, 2016. During that 7 years I have found their units excellent. It was always well maintained. It always felt save. During the 7 years, there was only two price increases. Their hours were always great for access. They opened at 5am. I could always go before work. They were open late as well. Their help was great during my last move and their prices for boxes & bubble wrap were much cheaper than Staples. Plus they buy back any unused boxes at the same price as they sold them. I would definitely recommend them and if I ever need a storage unit again, they will be my first choice.

DANIEL D | Expérience généraleI booked a rental that was confirmed for 6:30am Sep 25 at: FANNING & BRUSH 4359 SOUND AVE RIVERHEAD,NY 11901 When I arrived, the facility was closed, they had not enabled 24/7 share access for me to get the vehicle and I had to wait on hold for an agent at u-haul for over 30min. The agent rebooked more for the Calverton location. The Calverton service was fine, but I was 90min behind my scheduled time to move in two towns and had to pay movers more than contracted because of all the delays. This was an absolutely terrible experience with u-haul and I will actively dissuade friends and family from using the service in the future!

The call center is terrible, absolutely NO customer service . Almost did not go to the location but took a ride. Robert Wagner the manager was VERY helpful and straight forward. What is the incentive of renting from this facility compared to another facility that would have been more convenient? I was trying to give my facility the business and they couldn't even throw in a free appliance dolly or moving blanket rental. Uhaul should really reevaluate this policy, next time I will simply borrow a truck from a friend.

Rob the manager called me as soon as I got to my event and told me my garage key was in the uhaul still and the store closed at 5 which was the same time my work event was ending. I was so stressed out because this was my only way to get into my house. Rob helped me out and made sure my garage keys were in lockbox so I could get back inside my house. Thank you so much for helping me Rob. Would recommend anyone to come to this uhaul store for their great costumer service!
