Brian CornellI believe his name was Michael, we had a rental for a 10' truck. It was parked between two trucks so I asked him to move it. He gave me the key and asked me to move the truck that's in the way. The truck wasn't cleaned. There was a coffee in it and it was covered in snow which slid off the top onto the windshield while we were driving. Then he changed my contract while he was looking for the key without asking me and tried to put me in a different truck. I realized right away he was trying to cover his mistake since the check engine light was on and the passenger door wouldn't close all the way and kept pinging on the dashboard to shut it. We were short on time which we paid for a time slot, so we just used the truck quickly and brought it back. 3 different people called me from U-Haul verifying that I returned truck either TR or TM1213. 3 different calls!!! I'm guessing because he didn't change the contract back?? I only signed one contract so I don't know how he changed it without me. You gotta find a better guy, I'm pretty sure changing the contract without my permission isn't legal.
CYDNEY PALMATIERMileage rate is a bit excessive. The "$20" in town rate ends up costing over $70. While the service is good and the daily rental is necessary and convenient, the cost is a bit high

Thomas CiancettaI have rented this unit before- the ramp normally has a spring or some device that helps it lift up. in other words, its really hard to raise the ramp compared to other identical trailiers. Not a big issue, but some people might have trouble lifting it. I planned to mention it at drop off but forgot. Thanks

So then I went back the next week to clear the rest of my stuff out of the storage unit and spoke with the same gentlemen and asked about why no one called me about looking at the Camara he said that he didn't get a chance to see the manager and that he would let him know I said well it don't matter now I'm all moved out

I was luckily able to locate a different place to store my items, however this proved to add unnecessary costly miles to my rental and wasted my, and my movers, time. I can't carry large heavy items up those stairs alone. They offered me a bigger one on the bottom but it would've been double the cost. Also the part that really bothered me was the employee walking me to the unit in the 800 had me squeeze through the ladder to get by. What if I was much heavier???!! Isn't that a fire hazard not putting those things away when not in use?! I ended up asking for my lock refund and insurance refund and leaving

I said no to the "Access Hours" convenience only because I am a night owl and being able to access in the middle of the night could be useful as I found myself wanting to put more items in around 1am after coming back from a trip to move my son into a dorm at his college in New Hampshire. But for most individuals this may not be an issue.

Once it hit and we started to get behind, the customer service line would direct me to call the facility to set up payment arrangements. But each time I contacted the facility, I was told payment arrangements were not possible, even during a time when everyone was losing money and unable to fend for themselves. This facility took no regard for the struggles of its patrons and profited off of that instead.

maureen galofaro | Premières impressionsMoving in was a nightmare. The staff informed my older children that they we "high as f***" when they were assisting them because of a lock that had broke. I needed the large unit, and this was the last one. I was told because of the lock they were going to need to move me to a smaller unit. After I called them up they figured out how to get the lock off and I was able to keep the unit. Not after they had charged me for the smaller unit. Now I have two charged on my account for 2 units. I am being told that it will fall off. I wait the three days and it cleared. I have to go in once again to clear this up. Here comes the next month and I am supposedly set up on auto pay. This is in fact not the case. Because when they were playing hop scotch with my unit they also cancelled this. I go in and I am assured it is now set up again and the 45 dollars on charges they said they will waive. Well here comes the next month and guess what is not set up. Oh yes my auto pay. I just moved all of my things out of the storage because I am being inconvenienced in having to go there every time there needs to be a bill paid or I need to resolve the issue of incompetent staff.
