Stacy lWhen I arrived a couple of minutes aftery reservation time I was told the two trucks the size I had requested had not been returned. I was offered a free upgrade to a bigger model, but that would have been too big for the cargo I was moving. I ended up with a similar sized cargo van, but it was definitely annoying not having the truck available that I reserved.
Steven BStaff was extremely friendly and the place was clean. There were always enough carts to use for moving things. Even the smallest storage unit was spacious.

Chad B | Expérience généraleWe waited in an empty store lobby for almost 30 minutes before we were helped. Employee saw us and said he'd be right with us before disappearing for 20+ minutes. Rental vehicle was given to us with less than 1/4 tank of gas, multiple emergency light was on in the vehicle, tire pressure was low in every tire, windshield wipers were completely useless, you could barely see out the windshield. I've used uhaul multiple times in the past and this was the worst customer service experience I've had in a long time, I will no longer be using uhaul for future needs.
Rebecca AWell I was accused of not returning a dolly that I never received. Surely there is a better way to actually check these things (cameras, inventory count, etc) rather than calling and accusing a customer of stealing. The person who checked me in for my rental was great and that was the only positive thing about renting from Uhaul.

Bobby SI rented a U-Haul from this location, pick up went fine but it all went down hill from that. We ended up needing it longer then expected but I had work early in the morning and I was not able to extend it while I was at work. The truck was due back at 3 and at 3:08 my phone was getting blown up by employees, I was unable to answer so they went to voicemail. When I got off work I extended the trip. However even though it was extended and it said so online they were still calling me. Well we ended up needing it a additional day and we extended it online and it took the money but at some point the transaction got reversed but my additional money was not refunded right away so we didn't know that it got reversed. Well the next day i got a threatening text message and 5 calls at 8:19 am back to back saying if I did not that the truck returned on their lot in the morning when they opened it was going to be reported stolen. So keep in mind renting from here if you are 5 minutes late prepare for texts, back to back calls, and threatening text messages for no reason. Also come Monday morning (the MORNING i got the threating text) the last payment that was reversed ended up being reversed again and fully processed. So for the whole rental we never went over out time but got constantly harassed. Highly recommend another store because this one is ridiculous

Rachel B | Expérience généraleSo far I couldn't be more pleased with my rental storage unit. The building is fantastic as it was a renovated hotel and I have a fantastic view from the 7th floor plus my unit is so clean and accessible and even has a bathroom right next to it.

Heath BThe sign outside said wait in the vehicle at the return station. I did, and an employee walked right by and looked at me sitting in truck. I continued to wait and finally went inside to do the return. It took several minutes to do the return and I asked if receipt would show the actual number of miles I drove. I was told yes but when I got the receipt it only showed the number of miles allotted. I told the lady at desk it didn't have the actual mileage and she made me wait until aft she waited on the next person in line. I appreciate the vehicle we rented but wasn't real pleased with the return staff.

Christie RThey need to fix the floor in the unit I had, it had two pretty good size holes in the floor, I stepped in o e and twisted my ankle, and they should make sure the units are clean before they rent them back out, mine was not I swept it out before I put anything in it.

patrick mThis is my first time using a storage facility, so my review is based on it only being 48 hours since purchase: So far, the facility seems to be very nice. The unit size I requested wasn't available, but the staff was/is highly resourceful, knowledgeable, excellent communicators, friendly/courteous, and professional. The building and grounds at every point I've seen are clean and appear to be well fortified. I'm happy with my choice.
Tashara A | Premières impressions-Was not able to contact the storage unit facility during business hours for issues that only personal could answer, always transferred to to a CCR. -Policies of what can & can not be done at the facility was not clear when speaking to all Uhaul personal that I've spoken to. -While the staff were friendly, felt out of place based on how I was treated versus other patrons. Received less than great service based on these experiences.

My equipment location was moved 3 times, with this last time being 2 separate locations where I had to pick up the truck in Lafayette...travel to Crawfordsville for the auto transport....travel back to the original location to put my car on the transport and then move to my move location to meet the movers. Talk about adding stress to an already stressful day, terrible coordination on U-Hauls part and I will do everything in my power to never use U-Haul again.

Geanette DIt's really frustrating to be charged for going over in mileage when I drove to the locations I indicated to the representative I spoke to. I drove from the pick up (Ann Arbor) to the place I was moving from (Dexter) to the place I was moving to (East Lansing) and to the drop off place (Lansing). My only stop was for gas. If I informed the representative of this, I would assume the mileage would be sufficient to cover the distance I indicated.
Lauren SHad to locate an employee. Found 5 employees stairing a a golf cart in the bay instead of looking out for customers. Was not very happy. Customer service was poor and employee looked to be having a bad day. Don't know why I typed this out nobody will read this let alone do anything about both locations.

Jill SThe damage to my belongings from the herd of mice running rampant was ridiculous. The items that were destroyed can not be replaced at least some of them can not be replaced . Consider that cost when deciding on a storage , they acted like it was no big deal when I told them about the problem.

One of the elevators was broken. Shutting down access after 10pm to the indoor facility did not match with my work hours and made access difficult. The operators at the generic/after hours number have no idea what they are doing. They could never help me.

I was never able to reach the store manager after multiple failed attempts. One of the representatives sent a text message to the managers personal phone while I was on the line with him marked urgent. I never heard from him and was never able to get a hold of him at all. And I lost all everything for $89 credit from selling it. It wasn't that I was delinquent in payment, I already knew this and when call I expected to hear that. But to tell me that I could still get my stuff and then not answer me back?
