Eric WestThe Bellingham location was great! However it's not good to wait until the day before the rental day to let you know you have to drive 80 miles to get to the truck when you ordered one a mile from your home.
April MulderAfter a very long day of moving and a lot of ups and downs our day ended on a high note because of the employees at this location. One in particular (wish I would have gotten his name) felt like a breath of fresh air. We were tired, exhausted, and stressed and he went out of his way to be inviting, sincere, and helpful. He let us know about some great local places and it was honestly the best way we could have ended the day. Will definitely be taking him up on his recommendations.
Elyse SparksBig problem with this reservation was that I reserved a truck at a specific location, buy I had to use a much bigger truck from a different (further away location). This caused me to incur additional cost in gas, and ferry fares across the puget sound due to the oversize vehicle charges

Nathaniel RylaarsdamThe only complaint that I have is the requirement to use a cell phone to document predeparture inspections. These inspections should be done with the customer and a physical Uhaul employee with paper receipts documenting the results. Use of a cell phone to document the inspection should be optional and not mandatory. We asked for a Ford Van due physical dimensions for navigating a narrow unimproved driveway. We initially received a Dodge which was wider. We traded it for a GMC. Thank you. We did appear an hour and a half early. Perhaps the Ford would have been available had we been on time. But this should have been discussed with us before sending us out thinking we were getting a Ford.

Had to scramble to find replacements to complete moving project. Truck itself had a defect with steering and rear door took someone with Herculean strength to close. Will think long and hard before renting from uhual again.

When I discovered that my 2nd floor had some water infiltration the manager offered replacement boxes. Unfortunately, the elevator is still out and my unit is on the second floor. I rented a second unit on the first floor because I didn't want to carry boxes of books and furniture up the stairs.

We were organized and could unpack the units at our leisure knowing they were safe and secure. We continued to rent while storing baby items and seasonal items until we no longer needed the extra storage. We also rented several u-haul trucks and it was easy and convienent. We love U-Haul! and the employees we dealt with at the different facilities were all awesome!

With the exception of this last weekend, The same cars are parked at the loading dock every time I've been there. It appears that employees may be parking there making it impossible to use the loading dock. This site needs more parking for staff so that patrons are able to use the loading dock. The sliding doors have been out of service for at least a full week. There is a plastic soda bottle that is used as the ashtray for smokers that has been on the loading dock where you check in and out. It's pretty gross. Inside in front of the elevator where you can leave item for others is being used as a trash area. Garbage is visible piling up. This is the second time I've stored items at this location. It will likely be the last due to the above issues.

James Hinze | Expérience généraleI had a free month of storage included with my one-way rental truck, but didn't receive the free month due to there being only one more storage space available in the 10' X 10' size. It seems a bit strange to me that the free month is dependent upon there being more than one storage space available in the size needed (I rented a 20' truck, so a 5' X 10' wouldn't have worked for me). I guess I get it, but after dropping over $1400 on the truck and trailer rental, I was looking forward to that free month. Oh well, I'll just have to remember that the next time I need to rent equipment somewhere.

From the first day, the person at the desk was kind enough to walk me to my unit. The staff was always so warm and helpful whenever I had questions about their services or hours. The prices were great, definitely the most affordable place around to get all your packing supplies. Though the location can sometimes bring unwanted guests, I never doubted the security of the storage facility. I also really appreciated that they offer an area to leave items you'd like to donate as your cleaning. Overall, the units were clean. I wish the storage units themselves had a light in them, but the hallway lighting was bright and sufficient to see inside the unit. Staff was great and location was great and easily accessible. I would definitely rent a unit here again!

I hate having to pay money to store things but can't complain about this location, especially as my last storage experience resulted in the jerks selling my storage locker for Penny's of its value and then reporting me to collections simply because the lazy clerk typed a K in my email instead of J, resulting in my auto payment never going through and they never bothered to call me so I lost everything. Wish I had gone here to begin with. Never thought storing stuff could be so complicated or difficult!

Then came the day we were moving out September 12th. My niece and great niece drove up from Puyallup to get all the the items in the storage unit#2527. They rented a moving truck from your facility. They drove it out to my place in Ferndale to pick up some items that I had to give them. It wasn't until we went back to your facility that we found out your elevator was not working. I'm 67 and a friend of mine, the same age as well as my to nieces were all the help we had. I went to the office and asked for help. The person behind the desk, I believe her name was Julz had no idea the elevator was broke down but there was another person a man, that said to Julz that it was broke the day before as well. Julz tried calling a supervisor and perhaps you as well. It was painfully obvious know one from your company deemed it important enough to react to her call. My wife also asked for help moving things and the man said they are not allowed to help move things. We struggled and got everything except 6 dining room chairs moved down the stairwell. Julz did the best she could but your team was completely overwhelmed. My Niece, Julie Casiano rented from you and I think you company owes her some money back as nothing about the elevator was mentioned upon renting the truck although in fairness, you crew likely didn't know we were moving things out from your facility that day. Tomorrow morning I'll be contacting your customer service dept and complain to them. It's really unfortunate this happened the way it did but point blank, it did happen and I think it needs to be addressed and corrected by either you or upper management. It's highly unlikely I will use your facility again and I'm hoping know one else has to be put through this. I wish I could have written a positive feed back comment but I can't.

We even got stuck one time between others and trucks coming into lot. Can't the drive up entrance be on the other side near the street and storage on opposing side ? Just feedback here only. Overall everything was good just trying to get into lot was a nightmare.

When I came to pick up my stuff, I had lost the key and needed them to remove the lock, I was told I would have to wait for at least an hour and a half before anyone could remove the lock. This was Sunday, at 10:30, the male that had been there before opening, went up to remove the lock, it took all of 5 minutes to complete the task! I was charged $50 to wait almost 2 hours and it could have been done at 9:00 am! I can not in good conscience recommend your facility or services to anyone!

After scheduling months in advanced and being told multiple times we would be able to pack our ubox at the Bellingham facility we were told two days before that we were packing our box at Ferndale. We specifically chose to have a storage unit at Bellingham so that we could pack our box there directly from the unit. When we expressed our concerns to Dan he said that we would be able to pack there on Friday (7/16) as long as we were done by 5. He said he would bring the box himself at 8:00am and bring it to the Ferndale facility that night. We were extremely grateful as this saved us time and would make moving much easier. That morning we showed up and the box wasn't there and there was no sign of Dan. We talked to an employee who informed us that they didn't even know what time he was going to be there. Dan never showed an we were left scrambling for a way to pack our box. We called the Ferndale facility and they were not even aware that Dan had made arrangements to get our box for us. Dan had lied to our faces to get us to leave and left us with no way to get our box packed. Because of this experience I do not feel comfortable using u-haul ever again. The only good part of this entire experience was the lovely people at the Ferndale facility who helped us get everything in order when the Bellingham facility left us hanging.

Super skilled in time management, facilitation and captures her customers. My son and I were exhausted driving from WY to Bellingham WA, and she made the last stop very easy. I know a lot of people are moving.... but man at one location they did my wiring for my toe hitch wrong, another location the Employee would not wear a maskand wanted me to come in the store, at another location the employee wanted to talk to me about how stupid it is to ask COVID related questions. At this location, I had to call 4 times (the fourth time I was on the way to the storage unit) to confirm I had a storage, as the other three times, no one could find the reservation. The employees for the most part wore masks (at the bellingham store) but not always and did not when moving the truck I was about to get into (not happy with this). And I was supposed to have a free month storage, which I got, but I was only there like 2 or 3 weeks and when I left I asked them if there was anything that I need to do to close my account. they said no your good and then I got an email that said I was late on my payment. I called the UHAUL number and a customer service agent said that he would pass the message along to the manager and I would be contacted in 24 to 48 hours, which did not happen. I called a second time to make a complaint, at which point he responded .... But man it has been like pulling teeth working with Uhaul AND THEY DO NOT TAKE THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS OF WEARING A MASK AT ALL TIMES AND KEEPING DISTANCE (especially AT THE EVERETT LOCATION.... the guy there walked straight up to me without a mask and took the keys from my hand. this is an insult to my safety and respect). I will let those know whom have to use you guys how difficult it has been to work with you and for the price I have paid, I would like to feel like I am being treated like a customer. I work in healthcare now and used to be in customer service and have not had good customer service with UHAUL in this past year.

My stuff was never destroyed nor missing and I had nothing but complete trust about leaving my stuff in this storage location, especially since I have been living in another city about 4 hrs away during my entire rental agreement.Loved doing business with this uhaul location on Merdian Street in Bellingham Wash the owner Dan was great friendly profession quick, I was in and out in no time ready for a long drive home every thing is convenient and easy to use at this location from the drive way to the loading dock to the uhaul trucks I never realize I appreciate UHaul services as much as I did yesterday.Thanks!!!!

Instructions started out ok until he told me he would take me down the first time then. Drew on the map and said check in here. Didn't get my key card until several days later when I realized that I was supposed to have one. And not once of the 5 times I entered my storage without checking I did anyone check on the alarm going off. Over all I'm rather dissatisfied so far.
