With the only thing being *subject to availability * that means if units are available the unit I wanted was available and the manager still found some way to say oh you get that offer online yes but we don't honor it or give refunds when outside his store they are marketing that same deal. Please make it make sense. I'm filing a BBB complaint against Brent and the Uhaul store. And the guys in there are just unwelcoming in general I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Hannah MoffatI rated this location above average because the staff were extremely helpful and they even ran a few items they missed over to me at my In-laws home, where we were loading. I said no to the question of cleanliness and well maintained. My rental truck had several areas of damage not marked, so I spent several minutes per side of the truck taking typing notes and sending in pictures at check out disputing photos on the Uhaul App. The same went for the car dolly, photos were out of date in comparison to damages. My truck issues started with the fuel fill line that was pinched and would not accept fuel unless it was slowly drizzled into the tank, this made filling impossible to do in a timely manner. The truck also broke down in Bend Oregon, I waited for a mechanic and lost 1/2 day of travel, as well as having to make frequent exit stops to insure the truck would continue running and not leave me stranded in my journey from Oregon to Colorado. The truck lost heat and cooling somewhere between Oregon and Wyoming where I also had to frequently stop to wipe down the frosting windshield. U-Haul is attempting to take care to reimburse me for my troubles, yet the Branch Manager is not willing to do much but reimburse my over night stay and added labor I paid for by missing a day's time for my previously scheduled unload help and added road time from the breakdown. Brandon has stated that he will reduce my over all payment for equipment by $300 and the full refunded amount of the extra hotel stay and then the labor is being debated. I have never had any experience like this with U-Haul and I'm extremely disappointed.

sybel bushYou might want to consider telling people who are extending their rental beyond a single day rental that the additional fees are applicable for the additional days. I went to drop off my rental and the bill was substantially more than I expected. The person helping me offered to take a day off. Really made it seem like this is a normal occurrence.

The people from Cape Coral, Fl. to Arkansas, where I needed to change from a Uhaul trailer to a U-box container due to weather. Has been the epitome of professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness. The only area I would say even remotely had less than stellar service was the Man who called me from Albany, OR. He was rude and tried to "shame me" that the trailer was not returned on time. I did explain the situation, and he tried to make me feel bad "that a customer was promised this trailer and now was going without." I did apologize, but I was hit by the two winter storms, and it was not safe. Also, my house closing was delayed by two weeks. I would not like this experience to detract from the outstanding customer service and understanding I received from coast to coast.

Otmar EbenhoechThe contract was not discussed with me. I was moving from Monroe to Salem with the closest uhaul pickup being in Corvallis. I was charged over the estimated mileage because it was not accounted for driving from Corvallis to Monroe and vice versa; just Corvallis to Salem. This was not explained to me or even mentioned even after it had been acknowledged by the employee that I was moving from Monroe to Salem. I am incredibly disappointed that it was not communicated to me that there would be extra mileage fees and also not being given a paper copy of the contract. When I got the uhaul to Salem for drop off, you could imagine my surprise when I owed them money for extra mileage. The last time I used uhaul, there was no mileage charge and I remember it being a lot cheaper as well.

They were always helpful and provided very workable solutions. It's a simple business really, solutions about stuff…either moving it or storing it. It never was never over complicated, something that happens a lot with so many companies. Dealing with the public is always a testing experience and I'd give them an A+ for their overall performance. If I was in charge I'd make sure they were all properly compensated simply because finding what they possess in customer service and problem solving skills cannot be taught and would be very expensive to replace when another company identifies and recognizes the same things I witnessed and lure them away…just a thought anyway.

I did have an accident and will never deal with her again.

Instead my calls were auto-routed to UHaul Customer service which is a nightmare during the day - with hold times to get through to a person of 30 min plus. Yet when I called other UHauls in the area on Tuesday, I could at least leave a message and someone got back to me. Being from out of town I initially assumed on Tuesday that maybe it was an unmanned facility, as us the customers seem to have to keep doing more and more of the administrative work when buying something, renting something etc. and that is a big bummer.

It just wasn't level for drainage. The other issue was the expense. Paying nearly $180 p/mo.for the 8X10X20 storage unit was pretty steep. I looked around and found another storage place with a unit that was taller, wider and deeper about 5 miles away for only $130 p/mo with the third month free. It is well worth moving out.
David Kennedy | Expérience généraleOnline rental was quick and easy (similar to other services Uhaul provides), however storage access times are misrepresented. See screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/s4wayiH . "Storage Access" is stated to be from 5AM - 10PM with the option of 24hrs access as an additionally sold amenity. Unfortunately, this is not how the location handles it's accessible hours, instead you must use dual locks on your unit and request a key from the front office upon each visit, to unlock a secondary lock that the location owns. This must be done within business hours (7am - 7pm) and requires the physical surrendering (this is written during statewide quarantine) of a Uhaul accepted identification card, significantly reducing the usability of the storage. After 30 days, this inconvenience can be remedied by a fee increase of $120/yr for 24hr access. While stated otherwise on the rental webpage, there are not any actual access hours allowed between 5am - 7am or 7pm - 10pm unless special arrangements have been made with the front office per exception. This was not explained in any form upon move in. In fact, required front-desk sign in or supervised unit access is mentioned as a punishment for customer disturbances within the rental agreement and contains no reference to actual office hour requirements. Additionally, the confirmation email itself states that access hours are 5am-10pm Mon-Sun without any mention of a required check in. At this point I am curious what other red flags or fees will come about during this process that were left unexplained at the move in time or inaccurately represented on their website. I am understanding of the rules, that the location is allowed to set rules to maintain order on this premises, that the management is working hard to keep units secure for everybody and why this policy would be in place in absence of a gate. But with the combination of the false access times represented online & in the confirmation email, no mention of the specific access hours within the rental agreement itself and increased rent to use the access time already thought to be paid for - I feel that future buyers should be aware of this up front and take the omitted details into strong consideration when evaluating this location's service.

I also was charged an astronomical amount for being late one day on my storage unit, I was charged for more gas on the truck that I had rented, which was clearly not needed and then when I closed my account a week earlier was told there was no prorate. I will have to deal with another company in Corvallis now.
