Good Place to store your PC parts. Clean and safe when first time walk into this huge buildings, and restroom near elevator, and easy to find the my self-storage, and guy was clean the place and keep this place clean and safe at same times. Will use this self-storage more later of my life if I need to move cross the states again. And this is sleep worry free self-storage in USA anyway!

Ms. Mertes and her staff are very hard-working and hospitable. They will do whatever they can to meet your moving and storage needs. It is hopeful that my move-out is not good-bye but simply so long. They are strongly recommended.

The staff I talked with on the phone were very good. I have had more dealings with the people at the Desplaines location and they are extraordinary. They go above and beyond to help you even when it is super busy. They're very friendly and really care about their job.

First of all I asked for a bigger storage facility they charge me $89. I explain to them that I had renter insurance and showed him a policy first month I didn't get charged second month and third month I was charged went to talk to manager and asked her about, a better rate on this very small stores are room. She told me she cannot work with me or cannot reimburse me for the overcharge on the insurance issue. I decided to cancel the 12th of this month which was early. She said that I could not be compensated for the difference Prorated what is the word she used? I asked then why at first is prorating when I showed up on the 12th to use the storage unit from beginning she did not have anything to say except no no no no not good for business.

Drive in to unload, available flatbed Dollie's and automatic doors are features not available at public storage I used in pass. The one month free and low cost 5' by 5' unit makes the price right for my needs.

Shout out to Vanessa for going way above and beyond! She was very amiable and extremely helpful not to mention very competent. She radiated positivity. No question asked was too "dumb" for her to answer. U Haul is very fortunate to have someone of Vanessa's type to be the first point of contact for customers. In my opinion Vanessa is a people magnet!

Everything was great the staff was very helpful. My move out date was Nov.26,2022 not Dec. 19,2022 I rented a truck that same date to move out. I enformed the staff that I was leaving the storage the same time I rented the truck. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT SERVICE I will be useing your service agan in a year see you than.

Whilst the renting followed its course, everything was fine (clean location, easy access, well lit, etc.). Cancelling however was a bit confusing but worked out in the end as well. Thanking the U-haul team of the O'hare location, J. Overman

I went back the following day after I rented the unit to cancel because it was no longer needed. The on-site agent moved me out of the system and said I would receive an email confirmation. After two days I called back because I did not get the email, and was told I was never moved out the system and it would have to be done again. This was two days ago and I have yet to hear from anyone regarding my second request to cancel the unit.

The online check/move-in process was amazing! The incredibly frustrating aspect of the whole thing was while I was moving and in my literal last load, a red tag and lock was placed on the unit saying I had to check in the office to get it removed. The office was at ANOTHER facility that I had to drive to. When I got there, I explained that I had registered online but the woman at the counter said the unit was "uninhabited" and I wasn't allowed to be there. I had her check again, at which point she said, "if you're okay now." I don't know if there was a glitch in the system or if it took longer to register but it was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING and added an extra 30 minutes unnecessarily to my move-in.

The description of the storage space is misleading. The space for 5 x 5 x 10 is misleading because the door opening is less than 5 feet. The door opening for the 5 x 10 x10 is also misleading - again the door opening is less than 5 feet.

This was an outstanding facility. It was very secure and convenient. Loading and unloading was easy and not an issue regardless of weather. The staff was very helpful. If I needed storage longer term, I absolutely would use this facility.

Received this survey so I guess my storage contract was cancelled. Have not received anything saying it was and that there was/was not a cleaning fee added. No news is good news?

10/10 recommend! As soon as I walked in a gentleman who was walking by said good morning and told me to head to the desk and someone would be happy to help me. I had a unique situation with my Ubox and storage unit and Ilene was professional, helpful, efficient and so kind from beginning to end. She explained everything well and was patient with all of my questions. I was so happy I didn't have to unload and transfer in the snow, the facility was enclosed and temperature controlled and SO clean. Love the moving carts that were available-super helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone.

This was one of my best experiences I've had with the level of service I received from two young ladies at the front counter. Not only was everything explained perfectly clear but they made it easy to move my stuff in. I can't even begin to mention how clean the store looked upon arrival. You could still even smell the floor cleaner. After I was helped by the two young ladies I went over to the unit and same thing there. Loading Area was clean including the elevator and bathroom. Not a single piece of garbage to be found outside of its place. Best Uhaul facility I've every been.

We used this facility because we were moving abroad. The day we left we had to make an early run to put last minute stuff in the unit. However, somehow, due to an error on uhauls part, they locked our unit for "payment failure". Except we had the first month free and it had been two weeks. When we went to the office, it was closed and the woman that we did track down working on the trucks couldn't get into the system. It was definitely added stress and wasted time we didn't really have. Hopefully in the future this doesn't happen to others. That's been the only issue we've had though.

My only concern was that I was unable to use the security system and the alarm went off. I was then unable to lock the unit. I've been back and the same thing happened. I'll follow up with the facility and find out what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure it's my fault. The process and facility are top notch - glad I found this facility.

Alarm disable procedure was not week described, we set off the alarm opening our unit every time

There was oil on the floor when I moved in and got on my boxes. I had to clean it up with paper towels and cleaner. I am not sure if it came from the next unit. I slid and almost got injured when moving in.

This is a very well kept facility. This was my second storage place in past 3 months and was extremely impressed with the difference from the first company I stored with.

I ordered a small storage unit but upgraded in person with the Uhaul rep earlier in the day to a 10 by 10 unit. I moved at night and when I arrived to my storage unit with the uhaul truck and movers, I was given the wrong size unit and couldn't empty out the uhaul truck. I still had to pay the movers despite the job not being complete, and I ended up having to rent the Uhaul for an additional day. I also have to hire new movers to load my stuff into the larger storage unit now and that one mistake cost me a lot of money. Hi

Please replace and mark the trip hazards at the sliding entry doors so they are visible above the carts they are a nuisance and caused a shin injury to one of my workers. They also caused some breakage when a couple boxes to fell off the cart.

All of the staff were friendly and very welcoming, which made for a fun experience. The storage facility has everything you could need and is so well maintained.

The reason I would not recommend it, despite really good customer service and facility, was the continual feeling of: "Would you like fries with that?" I am a capitalist and business owner, too, but it was all too much: dictating the type of luck to use, the attempt to upsell insurance, the attempt to upsell 24-hour access, etc.

It was clean when I walked in. When the agent opened the unit had a big mouse trap. I was very concerned. I looked in it nothing there. But still very Leary. I had to rent it because I was already there and my stuff needed to go somewhere But not happy if I find mice poop or bugs in my stuff

U-HAUL HAS REALLY UPPED ITS GAME AND DONE A GREAT JOB OVER THE PAST DECADE INTO WHAT IT SHOULD BE. WELL RUN FACILITIES AND TRUCKS THAT MEET YOUR NEEDS. THE STAFF WAS GREAT AT THIS FACILITY. THEY REALLY KNEW THEIR JOB AND HOW THE WHOLE THING WORKED.

So far, the experience has been very good and a couple of the agents, Lisa and Vanessa, have really gone above and beyond. My only real complaint is that they can be really hard to get a hold of unless you call first thing in the morning. If you get the afterhours/overflow answering service, forget about it. I get that they are a busy office with a handful of staff, but with everyone's personal possessions here, there may be more than a few salty customers left hanging. Otherwise, we are happy customers and have had a good first year.

They did not explain to me how to rerurn the truck and I had to read online and now Uhaul is charging me extra 50$ because I left keys in ignition and did self check. Terrible service and never ever again will use U haul
