Glenn JaecksPaperwork is terrible. App doesn't work. At first they wouldn't take the car hauler because it didn't have end destination. We said it is the same as the truck. Outside guy wouldn't help so I went inside and he said go back outside to the receiving. I unhooked the trailer and said it's your trailer. The day I dropped the truck a day early and did have any problems this time.

Parker KentI I had a very hard time trying to pick the car up after hours because I did not know how to use my phone and I am not computer literate, however I had to call the U-Haul after hours phone number three times and each time the representative that answer the phone was a lady and I wish I would have gotten their names because each one was very patient and very considerate considering my embarrassing time and has been times that I've talked to other people and they have hung up on me with other agencies in times where you have to deal with customer service over the phone. I was not able to complete the transaction that night but when I came in that morning the staff knew who I was and eagerly made my experience very convenient. The best part about this particular U-Haul branch is that I was late returning the truck and forgot to call and extend it and when I received the phone call from U-Haul games later the staff member that called me was very considerate without sounding arrogant or mean. And after returning the truck I forgot to put gas into the truck and they reminded me that it would cost more if I didn't put gas in it myself and allowed me to take the truck and go put the gas in it even though I have been very late returning it. And since I had one more load that was very heavy and I would not be able to take it from the home I was moving from and I knew my last I'm not checked out at 4:00 p.m. so I know it wouldn't cost me an extra day as long as I returned about 4:00 p.m. I took an extra trip in the car instead of coming right back from the gas station. It took a little longer than I expected and yet and still the U-Haul staff was very understanding and never showed me any disrespect in any way and it made me feel like a valued customer. So I will say today that if you are in Sacramento go to the U-Haul on El Camino because it is giving me the best experience I have had in my life renting from U-Haul across the Nation thank you

I picked up the truck and she was dismissive, abrupt and rude. I didn't spoke to David, and he politely listened to me and did his best to reach out to see what could be done. I wrote a long message to the general manager, Jennifer. Marez And she didn't even do the courtesy of responding

karla swansonThe gas tank was half empty, didn't get the code for my truck got out late, and I returned oven 12 hours earlier and still was charged extra. Bunch of crap! 75$ extra I had to pay for gas twice.
Alessya YantsevichThe app didn't work, which wasn't the location's fault. He was very helpful in picking up the truck. They were also quick to do drop off. But the truck seat wasn't adjustable and the visors were broken and wouldn't stay up. Not good repair.

Elsie MatavaleThe van had not been serviced properly. We got on the freeway and realized that the low tire pressure warning was on. All 4 tires were low and 2 were very low. We drove back to the lot. No one apologized or even seemed very interested in the issue. The tires were re-inflated quickly. While the staff was pleasant enough, they were completely disengaged. There wasn't a hello, how was your experience, and when I asked if there was a restroom, one employee just pointed in the general direction with no assistance given the bathroom had a code and was marked employees only.
Amy HollowaySometime during our rental someone changed our drop off point. The original place said it was gonna charge us $40. If we left it there. Then sent us 45 mins away from our home to drop it off? Can you uhaul give us $40. For the extra time and mileage we spent to drop it off? It only seems far if you are charging us to drop it that you pay us for our time and gas and miles.

I wanted to leave to get my rope because they said I could not leave without the bed.They wouldn't allow me, even being a valued return customer, to leave the bed on the property.
