You should NOT charge a fee for after hours returns. We returned the truck 15 hours before it was due back. We finished sooner than expected and decided to drop the truck off that same night, however, instead of receiving a credit, we were charged $20.00 for the early return, only because the keys were in the night drop off box? That is ridiculous.

The gentlemen that was working was rude, unprofessional and lied. He said the truck fuel was full and to return it on full. The truck was closer to the three quarter mark on the gauge. He was so unpleasant when reading the agreement to rent the U-Haul I almost walked out. I asked to rent it longer than the 4 hrs and he again had such a poor attitude it was offensive. Upon returning the U-Haul a younger and much more professional gentlemen helped me. So obviously it isn’t necessarily this location but that first employee that helped me. His attitude and demeanor in my opinion makes him a horrible employee for any business owner.

Give people more detail about important information that can save them money other than sitting down Goffying around watching YouTube videos and making a fool of them selves. Mitchell or mike or whoever that is if I was the boss would they both would be fired.

Only one entrance/exit with a small driveway. Hard to tell that you have to re-exit out the same drive way with arrows only pointing into the shop. If two cars were trying to drive opposite directions, both wouldn't fit. If a u-haul truck was coming in with a car going out, it would be even harder.

The dolly tag was not on there and when i saw it is when i had arrived at the other location. And opened the back door of the u haul. I was charged for two days of equipment i did not use because they didnt put a green seal on it. A tie strap. I did not cut it. Or use the dolly. When i tried nicely explaining it to the manager he said he was charging me anyway. That i should have called it in. He was formally rude and has the personality of a mop. Not dealing with this location again.

The online U-haul approval process was a nightmare. After 25 minutes of the screen saying "please wait," I asked what the hold up was and the manager told me there was "an error." After having to re-complete an entirely new application, the computer "wasn't working" 2 more times. It took over an hour for me to get my truck that I had reserved 2 weeks prior.

Make it clear that you have to log in the mileage for the online return, I locked the truck then put the keys in the slot. Unable to see the mileage I was forced to leave and be charged $20 penalty. After a full weekend of moving that was not a good memory of U-Haul. The staff is very helpful and friendly though.

I went in to rent a van. However, the employee at the desk informed me that there weren’t any vans available despite the presence of cargo vans on the property. I went online and performed a mobile order which was easy but wasted 30 minutes of my time. Your employee could have told me that vans were only available through a mobile order but instead he made it seem like nothing was available. I don’t appreciate laziness and being lied to!!

Your staff need to explain that it is mandatory for the customer to notify UHaul when dropping off the vehicle at the facility. I didn't know that! Yes, I got a text. But I don't check texts when I'm driving, and I was too busy moving to check texts then. I only checked my text AFTER I was done moving and AFTER I dropped off the trailer. So I probably going to get charge a so-called "Convenience Fee". Also, I tried chatting with a UHaul representative when I got home last night. His name was Matthew and he insisted that the receipts I received (which were not signed) constituted as a contract. Finally, he ended the chat conference by signing off while we were talking. I won't do UHaul again.

More incentives and info per size of truck. So that way people will weigh out the pros and cons much more efficiently. Also, giving examples of why and how to pick the perfect size of truck. The reason I say this is because it took a bit of research for the dimensions given per truck when they told me via cellphone. So less confusion and overthinking.
