We were stuck there for 3 hr
William LeatherburyThere is no on-site parking for customers while they are using U-Haul trucks. I had to park way down a long block and around the corner, walking from and to my car in pouring rain. This alone has soured me to this location.

Sarita VernonThe guy that "helped" me, while not rude, showed NO enthusiasm or initiative to assist me when I walked in the door. He was focused more on his cell phone, to where I had to initiate my issue with him. I had 12 boxes that I brought back for a refund, but did not have a receipt, but explained that I used my card, hoping he would put forth some effort to check the system or at least show me that he was engaged with my issue. I ended up just leaving the boxes, which amounted to a savings to me of at least $20. He appeared as though he could care less. For that reason, I have to give the location an average rating rather than an excellent.

Matthew KhaddorI rented a 20ft truck one week before I needed it. I went back 2 days before my reservation to confirm the pick up date,return date and the size of the truck. Friday, March 15th when I went to pick up the truck, the dates of return were incorrect as well as the size of the truck. I was moving and this error really complicated things. The manager was great and there was nothing he could do.

If there was an alternative, which there isn't, I would absolutely never again use U-Haul. Please note that the individual at this particular U-Haul site did his job very well and my complaints and issues have quite little to do with him. The company needs to get their business in order as mentioned above.

Kris DangoI don't remember the guy's name at the Ramsey location, but he was super helpful. That was the quickest I was ever in and out of U-Haul in my life. And I printed three trucks in the past month because I'm in the middle of construction and I'm buying items from private sellers.
Amy WilliamsThis location was fine. I am complaining because I had a reservation at the Marina Del Rey location a week early and got a call that the location had changed. I accepted, but day off I showed up and they had no trucks. They called dispatch and the guaranteed a 10' truck would be available at the next location, however when I went there, there was only a 15' truck available. This means the rate was $10 more than the 10' truck I wanted.

John EstradaThe agents were very deceptive, he told me that Anaheim was about 30 miles and I said that it’s at least 50 miles, and he said don’t worry about it that’s just an estimation, and bring the truck back with a quarter tank because it’s on empty so when I returned the truck the agent said the bill was 160 and I asked why and he said you went over the mileage and I said how much was my mileage and he said it was estimated at 30 miles so anything above that was over the mileage and when I said the tank was about what I had when I received it he said I would have to have a quarter of tank over what I started with in stead of the half of quarter tank that I returned with, the practices were so deceptive and bait and switch that was so obvious, I would never recommend that location to anyone and I hope the other locations don’t practice the same tactics
Talcum MarshWhen I did the reservation I said one day rent When I pick up the equipment. The person at desk told me that I had to bring it back by 1:15 pm same day and he changed for one they. So I have the equipment just a few hours (3) I want to claim for a refund

antoinette johnsonI was yelled at by an employee here after being overcharged $700 just because 'it was in the computer.' Nevermind the fact that I was already charged and the contract was for $600 less. The supervisor corrected it after several frustrating phone calls to both the location and the 800 number. The truck also did not have a lock, forcing me to go out late at night when I discovered this and purchase on. I've never rented a large truck that was not equipped with a lock. The location also didn't have my reservation which was not their fault, but the fault of Uhaul who told me to go to this location and the next day assigned me a location that had no trucks. It was really unpleasant and stressful. I will think twice in the future about doing business with Uhaul as I no longer trust them to get things right.,

Eugene DavidsonThe 10 foot truck I rented was disgusting. It smell like sht… and cigarettes. It smell really bad. It was dirty and I had to spray the interior with disinfectant. My clothing smell afterwards. The driver mirror kept falling forward as I was driving in the California rain storm, I mentioned this mirror issue when I dropped it off to a different person of contact. The right side mirror worked. The back was cleared not clean. If I had extra time I would not have used the truck. The fact that the person who rented me the truck didn't think it was terrible idea says a lot. I paid for insurance, rental and mileage. I have rented from Uhaul before and this was the worst experience. All other time were great. I also have a video of my experience.

John ChaffeeCustomer service was absolutely awful. The young men you have working there lack the basic skill set to engage in a professional manor with customers. No eye contact, looking at their phones or the TV most of the time, mumbling under their breathe, etc. But if that was all then I (like most others) would not have left this complaint, it wouldn't be worth it. I'm not really into getting people fired because they lack skill as long as they mean well. In this case however, I'd say the employees went out of their way not to correct a mistake they made when explaining the rules to filling up the gas tank. We ended up losing about $25 in the deal, but the worst part was that they brushed it off like it was nothing. If they had at least said sorry for the misunderstanding I wouldn't be submitting this complaint right now.

Maisha WalkerLower your prices! These monthly prices are co.parable to used car monthly payments. It's kind of ridiculous to me why it's so much but every time I look up storage prices at other locations it's always cheaper.

When I tried to explain to the employee that I had already paid the rent, he rudely told me that I hadn't paid anything yet. But for some reason the money in my bank was written off. 2 times!
