The process was fast and easy. As two ladies just running around town picking up DIY projects and supplies, we were really pleased that the guys running the shop were eager to make sure we had great experience renting their van. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
Brandi MI told them the passenger mirror was loose and should be fixed for safety reasons. His response was we won't charge you for that. I did not appreciate his response at all. Terrible service!!

Saul VThe sign for return says to wait in your vehicle for someone to come to you. When I waited, no one came. I attempted to use the app. It could not find my location. And the barcode on the door for location broke the app. I thankfully was returning during business hours and my customer service with staff was excellent. 5 stars to customer service, but return system needs work.

Daniel SReturn process with the app on my phone (Android, Pixel 7) didn't work at all. This was due to the fact that the geolocation was not working (GPS and barcode) and it blocked the check out process. With no alternative option, I used a web link for my past rentals without a problem, I was stuck for 30 min. It was resolved by finding another phone (iPhone), installing the app and that allowed us to finish.

Bobby JThe customer service was way below oar. The attendant was not helpful and accommodating. He even tried to create misinformation citing that U-Haul company did not know what the local facility can or cannot do. Very disappointed with the customer service.

Larry MWe rented two trucks in the past two weeks and both times, the U-Haul staff were friendly and professional. We had logistic issues on our end but the U-Haul staff were very patient and accommodating.

tyler kNeed to correct the behavior of Nicholas who wears a U - Haul badge with owner written under his name. When I went to pick up the truck, he was sitting in a van and talking to someone on his cell phone. There was no one inside the store. I went in and out of the store two times to see if I could find someone to help me but nothing. Then a few minutes later, he walked into the store and still texting to someone on his cellphone. He walked by me but did not acknowledge me. Then he sat on a computer/work station on the far right. I was still waiting to be helped. Then he turned his eyes towards me and pointed me to come to his station with his EYES AND TURNING HIS HEAD BACK AND FORTH BUT DID NOT SAY A WORD. I was shocked to see this and wondered if this is how the customers are greeted when they go to the store? If I was not in a time crunch, I would have walked away without picking up the truck.

SUPRATIM BThe sun shade wiper was broken, the check engine light was on and the mirror was mechanical so they were not adjusting to one location and would move as you are driving. I have had better experiences with Cargo Van and this 10 foot one was not good.
Rahul PThis is the second time I have rented a vehicle from this location in a month. The first time there were problems with finding me a vehicle that worked properly-- the second time, the same scenario only worse. There were very few vans that did not have some type of issue. Having the staff locate a vehicle felt like playing "whack-a-mole." The cars are also not clean -- I cleaned one potential van that was in the return line and only to find out the battery did not work. The windows are dirty making it difficult to see out of and navigate the vehicle safely. While I cannot fault the staff as they are working with the fleet they have, I will say both times my experience with the afternoon staff is they are much more understanding and helpful. Leia and Nicholas are much more customer service orientated than the morning staff. Bottom line, U-Haul offers nice products, yet, I do not feel safe in the vehicles. The company needs to have a better plan in place for checking vehicles and serving those that require attention.

Jason LFirst of all we picked up the van and was flashing oil change then we get this call after 30 minutes saying that they changed the drop off location because there is no space for it to park it . The other location was about 15 mi utes from the drop off location , so they gave me a $25 credit but I ended up taking Uber and spending $22 on Uper to get me back to my car. What a waist of time.

vishnu mThe first truck I was given did not have gas (the gauge read empty and the light was on.) The inside of the truck was dirty -- stone debris and the jack was out. I went inside to tell the associate I needed a new vehicle. His customer service skills were lacking. The second car I was given he mis-read the gas tank gauge and hence I was charged a fee when I returned the car. This associate also should have been more proactive to make sure the second van was clean and safe to drive -- especially since the first van was not. When I went to return the car, the service I received from Nicholas was excellent. Nicholas tried his best to be helpful and suggested I reach out to the manager to discuss the vehicle surcharge.
Alicia Gwhen i returned the trailer on the same day for a 24 hour rental, the rep checked me in and asked me if getting an emailed receipt was ok. i said yes and left. the next morning a rep from the store called me and asked me when i was returning the trailer. i said i did it yesterday. she asked, was it after hours? i said no, the same person who checked me out in the morning checked me in. she said ok. the following day i check the app and it said i still had the trailer. so i called the local store and it said no one available and to call the 800 number. i did, explained the story and the person said, can you wait while we get the local store on the line. i said sure, knowing what would happen. minutes later, the guy got back on the line and said i couldnt get ahold of them. they will call you back and resolve it today. nobody ever called that day, or the next. just today i finally get an email receipt showing a single day of rental, which was the right number. but it took a lot of extra work and waiting to make that happen.
RAMA PDrop off was quick and easy. Nothing to add here.
Joseph DThere was no info on the requirements needed for self check-in. The website did not help, please send a full description of what is needed for self check-in. The website and app were not intuitive nor easy to use. It was a pretty messy experience with self-out.
