The truck written on my contract was not the truck I received. Because of this, I was charged over $5,000 because it said I went over 10,000 miles and the odometer reading was incorrect. After multiple phone calls, this issue was resolved and I was not charged. However, it was a hassle and stressful. Make sure you take a picture of your odometer before you start driving your rental and after you drop it off!

The unit was not clean. Had some sort of residue on the floor. The top was open, which could allow rodents and roaches in. They changed their hours in the middle of my stay. From 8am-10pm to 9am-5pm

We only had stuff in our storage unit for 2 weeks and several of our boxes and furniture had roaches in them when we moved them out. They need to take care of their bug problem. Expensive too.

Uhaul never informed me that they changed my location until i showed up to the pick up location and the man at the desk told me. Then i get to the new location and they are CLOSED. I spent 45 mins on the phone getting transferred 3 times until someone would help me and then Uhaul changed my pick up time to 2 1/2 hours later than i needed it. Not to mention when i tried to return the truck the mobile check in didn't work AGAIN and i had to call the next morning to not get charged a late fee. This was the worst customer service experience i have ever had with Uhaul.

24/7 process took close to 2 hours. U Haul customer service hold time was 20 minutes which lead to 4 line transfers and no answers. Finally connected to local employee who delivered key. We arrived at 8:35 for 9 am reservation and left with the truck close to 10:30. Terrible experience.

customer parking is unclear. Lock boxes are not clearly marked. website and phone instructions were very poor, didn't hint at how involved the rent by phone process is. took longer than expected. I delivered it back, in the rain, with poor lighting. If it would have notified me of all the steps ahead of time, I would not have rented by phone. It was just a piss poor experience.

I rented 2 packs of 6 furniture pads. Upon opening the first I found them to be dam, too wet to use on furniture. The second pack I only slightly opened and they were no different. They were of no use to me. Make sure you check the pads BEFORE you depart. Aside from that, the truck was perfect.

I rented the 15 at a different location for a day and brought it back the following day paid 42 . This time the 10 brought it back th same day and was charged 69.15 is cleaner than the 10.

The location I originally tried to use with the online app truck pick up did not work. I waited for over an hour on the phone with customer service and was told "If you can't get your phone to work, we can't give you the equipment" even though I made it clear that I tried on multiple phones and it was not an error on my side. However once I went to a different location that was open I was given a truck within minutes.

I was somewhat surprised to be re-routed to this location from my desired pick-up location. When that switch was made known to me in an e-mail, I called the new location because I noticed that the nw reservation included a rental dolly, which was an item I had not reserved. I was then surprised to find that I was placed in a 15-foot truck, when all I needed was a 10-foot truck; my surprise was even heightened when I saw that there were 10-foot trucks parked on either side of the 15-foot truck into which I was placed. It seems to me that I was put into a more expensive truck in order to maintain the “income” from the deletion of the cost/income from the unreserved and canceled dolly! That seems somewhat unethical to me!

U-Haul employee was not very friendly or helpful. Rented a pickup truck for an afternoon. Don’t like that you are charged for mileage (.69/mile) and have to fill the vehicle up with gas before turning it in. Seems like they are double dipping to me. Will not rent from U-Haul again.

The woman named Cindy at the desk was very nice and she had no help. The location was sparse and had no extras. I rent from U-Haul all the time. Aside from Cindy who took care of me everything else was a mess. I had to lease a 20 footer because the 15 footer was broken and the truck was a mess and full of blankets. So who ever manages this one is not doing your good name any good and I am a mystery shopper and this place would get a fail. Kudos for Cindy the woman at the desk but everything else needs work.

I'm not sure where to begin with you all. I don't want to "ding" this location because they weren't the original pickup location. I have a HUGE issue with how my "reservation" was handled by your scheduling group. I originally reserved a 17' truck from Personal Mini Storage on 34th St at 9a this morning. I arrived right on time to be told that my reservation had been "moved" and I should have received a text or email notifying me of the change (I did not receive any communication from Uhaul outside of my original confirmation for Personal Mini Storage). I was advised my reservation was now at "the location by the Double tree on Archer Rd.". I called the corporate office customer service line while I drove around trying to find this other mystery location. When I finally got someone on the line I was told that, in addition to the location change, my reservation had been changed to a 20' truck which I didn't want because it was going to be a pain to maneuver into the spaces we needed to get into. The customer service representative did his best with a bad situation and gave me directions to the new location. I drove there only to find out THEY WERE CLOSED AND DID NOT OPEN UNTIL 10A!! Please tell me how I was going to pick up my 9a reservation at a place that did not open until 10a?!? After I refused to wait for this location to open I was referred to the final location on SW 13th St (much further away than we anticipated). When I arrived I was told once again I was getting a 20' truck. We took it because we were pressed for time but the Personal Mini Storage has a sign out front that LITERALLY says it is for trucks 17' and under only. Weade the best of an awful situation that was caused on all fronts by a terrible reservation system that doesn't provide accurate availability and doesn't notify customers when their needs can't be met. Based on my experience I could never *ever* recommend Uhaul.

Shaun Davidson at the main office was SUPER helpful. He accommodated some unusual requests I had... for example, I returned the tow one day and then the truck a week later. He accommodated in between.
