I reserved a truck and a furniture dolly, when I arrived in the store, no dolly were available, only for sale. Other than that the truck had some oil smell and they tried to blame us when we returned. The staff was unprofessional.Mario C.

The staff were super! This is the best Uhaul customer service experience I have had (normally long waits, extra charges or the thing I rented isn't at the pick up location). The only complaint is that there were 4 staff inside on Saturday that either were not wearing masks or wearing them below their noses. One staff was eating her lunch at the till (this could be that she doesn't get a proper lunch break...). It was a little gross watching the juices from her apple fly all over the desk and computer. And the outside guys kept coming inside without their masks on properly either. I am not the mask police...another customer actually said something, but I was thinking it too.Madelaine V.

Warn us about the grossly high fuel consumption of the 26ft vans. We went 95 miles in total and achieved only @ 8,75 miles to the US gallon. We likely would have selected the smaller 20 ft van or even a 16 ft long open trailer if we had known of the excessive fuel costs of the 26 ft van.David W.

App would not recognize my location. Reopening the app had no effect. Had to go to the counter. Counter staff was excellent. Would probably just go to the counter in the future.David S.
Self pick up just didn't work, had to go to the desk inside. The verification system kept calling the alternate phone number I provided for verification and anytime they would try and pick up, the phone would hang up. Never got passed the first screen.Benjamin C.

First of all, I booked my cargo van at a different place and uhaul changed it last minute without letting me the new location which caused lot of trouble and extra mileage which I had to pay! Second, I booked the van and a dolly but at the new pick up location they said they don't have it! This was horrible and caused me more trouble during the move. Third, I drove the van for only 40km and put 20liters in it! Even a van with three engines shouldn't burn that much and I suspect it wasn't full tank when they gave it to. Fourth, when drop it of, some in the yard took the van from me and said you're good to go and you will receive the receive the receipt shortly in your email. To this date I haven't received any receipts and tried to call them multiple time but all they do they just put you on hold with no response! Last time I was in hold for 25 minutes and then hung up. Overall, the whole process was a nightmare and cost me a fortune to drive a cargo van for 40 km! I need someone in this big organization to answer me and clarify why I should be stranded like that and pay so much for something called affordable moving!Nima G.

Service was very slow, quoted rates where bizarre and illogical (is the actual pricing some kind of secret?), place was dirty and a bit unpleasant, but it worked in the end and the final price was reasonableKieran W.
The fabric that lines the inside of the cab roof was starting to peel off the roof at the windshield edge and could obstruct the view of the driver if it were to peel off any further was tempted to cut it off myself but didn't want to be charged for damages.Jason C.

I'm disappointed in the level of service I received. I was sent multiple emails about the process and what to do when i arrived at u-haul (none of which actually happened). I had preordered my truck weeks in advance and I ordered moving blankets, I ordered a utility dolly and a furniture dolly. When I arrived at the counter I also picked up two box cutters when I arrived which I didn't receive. I was the first customer basically when I arrived there and it didn't seem like the girls knew what was going on because it took an exceptionally long time to check me out. I was told they did not have the furniture dolly (which I prefer-ordered weeks ahead of time). Being the first customer of the day, I find it weird that no furniture dollys exist in a company that is all about moving and truck rentals. You advertise this being available, why wasn't it? When things were done at the till I was told to take my piece of paper to the man waiting outside and he would tell me what to do. I waited for five minutes before anyone realized I was there and he said to just get in the truck and go. I asked multiple times about where to park my car as I was moving by myself. I drove down there myself and I wasn't offered anywhere to park my vehicle. This is extremely important for a company that rents vehicles. If you don't tell your customers that there is no parking or that they should be dropped off by a family member or friend, where are they supposed to leave there vehicle? Are we supposed to take transit down there. When I got in the truck, the floor next to the pedals had been cleaned with some sort of very slippery substance because I blew a red light as my foot slipped right underneath the pedal. It was way too slippery and I thought it was me that missed the pedal until I saw the shiny floor and knew right away a cleaner had been used but not wiped up properly. Not the kind of thing you want under the pedals trust me. I never recieved my blankets either. All in all moving was much more stressful than I had planned weeks in advance.
