Was scheduled to pick up at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct 24. When we arrived, there were plenty of employees working in the yard, but the office was not open. The office employees arrived at least 30 minutes late, putting us one hour behind schedule. Normally I would think I am never using this company again, but your Employee Akim went above and beyond trying to make everyone happy. The women in the office, though late, were quick, efficient and pleasant, but it was Akim who really stood out and provided above EXCELLENT customer service, so because of him I would recommend your company. You have a real gem of an employee with him!

I booked a truck, appliance dolly, and furniture pads in advance. When I arrived there was no appliance dolly available (we took a utility dolly instead) and the staff had to get the pads (which was only a very minor delay). Booking in advance seemed nearly pointless.

I originally booked a truck for pickup at the millrise location. At pickup I was told that too bad so sad we do not have a truck for you, nothing we can do. Was sent to Blackfoot and got one there. Extra 20-30 km in mileage ... really sleezy U-haul. People at Blackfoot location were great though.

When a customer reserves things, it doesn't mean first come first serve. If that's intended you need to change your website as it's very incorrectly labeled Also there was an employee's pen Ink that exploded on the car seat which got on my pants.

I reserved a truck and a furniture dolly, when I arrived in the store, no dolly were available, only for sale. Other than that the truck had some oil smell and they tried to blame us when we returned. The staff was unprofessional.

Regular corporate client. Will not rent from uhaul again. Charged for fuel i didnt use, refunded then charged for mileage i didnt use. Manager rude and wouldnt let me even speak. Still not resolved.

The Staff at the Blackfoot location were outstanding!

The staff were super! This is the best Uhaul customer service experience I have had (normally long waits, extra charges or the thing I rented isn't at the pick up location). The only complaint is that there were 4 staff inside on Saturday that either were not wearing masks or wearing them below their noses. One staff was eating her lunch at the till (this could be that she doesn't get a proper lunch break...). It was a little gross watching the juices from her apple fly all over the desk and computer. And the outside guys kept coming inside without their masks on properly either. I am not the mask police...another customer actually said something, but I was thinking it too.

Warn us about the grossly high fuel consumption of the 26ft vans. We went 95 miles in total and achieved only @ 8,75 miles to the US gallon. We likely would have selected the smaller 20 ft van or even a 16 ft long open trailer if we had known of the excessive fuel costs of the 26 ft van.

App would not recognize my location. Reopening the app had no effect. Had to go to the counter. Counter staff was excellent. Would probably just go to the counter in the future.

Self pick up just didn't work, had to go to the desk inside. The verification system kept calling the alternate phone number I provided for verification and anytime they would try and pick up, the phone would hang up. Never got passed the first screen.

There needs to be more than one girl on the desk. There was a line up and she was also answering the phone as she was serving us. She did a great job but she will burn out and you will loose an awesome employee if she has to keep that up.

First of all, I booked my cargo van at a different place and uhaul changed it last minute without letting me the new location which caused lot of trouble and extra mileage which I had to pay! Second, I booked the van and a dolly but at the new pick up location they said they don't have it! This was horrible and caused me more trouble during the move. Third, I drove the van for only 40km and put 20liters in it! Even a van with three engines shouldn't burn that much and I suspect it wasn't full tank when they gave it to. Fourth, when drop it of, some in the yard took the van from me and said you're good to go and you will receive the receive the receipt shortly in your email. To this date I haven't received any receipts and tried to call them multiple time but all they do they just put you on hold with no response! Last time I was in hold for 25 minutes and then hung up. Overall, the whole process was a nightmare and cost me a fortune to drive a cargo van for 40 km! I need someone in this big organization to answer me and clarify why I should be stranded like that and pay so much for something called affordable moving!

The office pickup staff were fantastic. I can't say enough. But the vehicle was not cleaned at all. We had to scrape a ton of bugs off the windshield to even see out.

Service was very slow, quoted rates where bizarre and illogical (is the actual pricing some kind of secret?), place was dirty and a bit unpleasant, but it worked in the end and the final price was reasonable

The fabric that lines the inside of the cab roof was starting to peel off the roof at the windshield edge and could obstruct the view of the driver if it were to peel off any further was tempted to cut it off myself but didn't want to be charged for damages.
