The pick up process was incredibly slow. There was no one in line in front of me and it still took 45 minutes or more. The truck was clean, but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was then attempted to be masked by an unpleasant deodorizer. By the time i reached my destination 40 miles away, My throat and eyes were sore and irritated, along with a study nose. Also, was charged more at pick up that the total that was on the reservation. By and large, not a pleasant experience at all.

The only reason I didnt give this location 5 stars was because of their faulty computer system which caused me to wait for almost an hour. But the customer service was excellent, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and apologetic.

First off they gave us the wrong truck and it was near a quarter of a tank. Then when we returned it they told us since it was wrong they would only charge for the one we reserved. The guy who gave us the wrong truck was very rude and told us if it wasn’t back by the next reservation we would be charged 277x3. Not our fault he couldn’t read a reservation ticket. We also didn’t k ow we would need a tape measure to measure it. His mistake. After a different person told us they would only charge 80 I looked at my account and there was a charge for 110. Then 10 mins later another for 132. Call them and sit on hold for 15 mins. Finally got someone to check it out and we got “disconnected”. Called back another 15 min wait and was told by the lady basically it was my problem and she hung up. Couldn’t explain the charges. This morning the 110 charge dropped off. The 132 is still pending and then they charged my card 244. It went through. Called my bank and they said try to work it out with them. ThT didn’t happen so know I have to fill out dispute papers. I would find another company if I had to move again. These people don’t know what their doing and are very rude to their customers.

Manager was very uncooperative. He told me there was nothing available for me when someone else told me their system showed FOUR trailers available the same size I had reserved. I even begged him to please help me out since my relative had traveled to help me out from 4 hours away. He simply told me there was nothing he could do and I had to leave. I went back about 15 minutes later and another employee took care of me apologizing for his manager, telling me they actually did have FOUR trailers available. Stating he did not know why his manager had that attitude towards my brother and I. So so so unprofessional from that manager. Never again am I purchasing from this Uhaul station and never will I recommend either.

When I initially inquired about getting a U-Haul, I was told to just go online. It ended up being pretty difficult to figure out online and by using the app. After we left with our U-Haul, it said that the tire pressure was low. We came back and put air in the tire. It said it again when we got to our destination. Maybe a sensor problem?
