The car that was being towed was not strapped down correctly. The left strap came completely off the tire. The chains were dragging. They were more concerned about getting off on time than strapping a vehicle correctly. This was mentioned to me several times that they were suppose to be off work and for me to hurry up when putting on the tow trailer. My movers did not show up and we arrived at Haul at 4:51. Luckily we found someone at a gas station who secured the vehicle properly. The two employees were asking each other how to secure the car!!!!!!! UHaul should provide the necessary employee to load a car on a trailer. I called two times to tell them we were going to be later than stated time to get to U haul. They had the wrong truck reserved. I called three times to make sure of the truck, date and trailer were reserved. Two times they had the wrong date and no trailer was reserved. I have used this shall UHaul in the pst and had no problems. I don"t like leaving a bad review but someone needs to get some training for Haul employees.TRACY O.

Unpleasant employees. This is not new. I've never had a good experience here. They're never available in the store, they never answer the phone and they're rude when you finally interact with them. I'm very friendly and always smiling, so it doesn't make any sense that I'm met with their attitudes. I would understand if I was rude, or even just showing no emotion, but my kindness and smile is met with rude impatience.Benjamin C.

A manager called me the day before my scheduled pick up day letting me know there was only one trailer in Florida and if I wanted to use that one I had to drive from Sarasota to Seminole to pick it up. About 55 miles out of my way in traffic. He said he would know $70 off the cost that I'd already paid online but I have seen nothing looking like a credit at this time. You make an online reservation a month in advance and get a confirmation but then it doesn't happen that way. A little disappointing.Donald B.

I reserved the truck months ago. The day before scheduled pickup at Clearwater I was toldâ€¦when I called Uhaul that the truck wasn't there and I could pick one up in Brandon but found out they didn't have one. but I could pick one up in Seminole the next day which I had to agree with because there were no other trucks available near me. This put my travel back a day and made it very stressful. I was on the phone many times and transferred from one person to another. Andâ€¦when I went to pick it up in Seminole it wasn't there yet. We had to wait an hour for it to show up. To say the least, I am not pleased with my rental from Uhaul. Their communication system needs help.Roxanne S.

I let Tim know at the drop-off center in Colorado Springs that the trailer that I rented from you has leaks. I went through a big rain storm for several hours through st. Louis. The trailer was not. So the door was securely shut. I have boxes and clothes that got wet from the left side of the trailer and by the door. I am not going to put in a claim for damage. But it was an inconvenience that I had to take four boxes and dry everything that was packed in there. And two boxes of my clothes were damp.CarolAnn S.
Inside front window was â€œextremelyâ€ filming. A dirty cloth was left completely covering the driver seat. And above all and most importantly the rear directional system on the right side was not working which is very alarming. This can only mean that the employees do not care for the safety of their customers and the maintenance of their vehicles and equipment. I will never use this location ever again.Susan D.

I had reserved a truck and trailer on 2/28 at the Largo location, for use on 3/5. On 3/4 (the day before my move) you send me a text saying that my equipment would be available in New Port Ritchie. I call and ask if you could find a location closer to Largo...and you go and cancel my reservation. I then had to move my move date to 3/6 and plane flight to 3/7. The reservation experience was absolutely terrible.James R.

We were scheduled for a 9am pickup time. 2 miles from our moving location. Nope... Somehow ended up going to 2 other locations and finally getting a truck at 230pm. Pickup location was WAY OUT OF OUR WAY. Then to top it off we had to drive it all the way back to this location the next morning. Somehow even though the truck came back with more gas in it when we got it, they charged us. Honestly, the worst experience ever, and will probably never use U-Haul again. No I would never recommend to friends or family either. The entire system is screwed up. Sorry.ROBERT M.

I have been renting from this location and getting supplies for over 3 years. This last experience renting a trailer was less than stellar.
