James L.I tried to get a receipt or proof of drop off but the employees wouldn't give it to me. I turned in the equipment 2 days early. I just got charged for a late fee because the employees only just now decided to put it into the system that it got returned. I had to be on hold for 2 hours (each time I would get someone and then they would hang up on me and I would have to start over). Finally was able to get the charge removed, as apparently, the location changed yet again of where I was supposed to take it. This was truly a frustrating experience. I don't expect to use uhaul again seeing how the employees and corporate treat its customers.

By the time they got to me (around 20 minutes after my reservation time) there were 6 people in line behind me. More staff would not go amiss.

A tire started falling apart on the trailer at express way speeds on I-95. The wait time for road side service was excessive, and the service man had the wrong tire size when he arrived. Jessica Y.I reserved a 15' UHaul weeks in advance. Two days before I picked it up, I received a call and was told I'd have to pick up the truck at Victoria Motors. I drove to Victoria's and sat outside for 45 minutes, trying to reach someone at Victoria's and at corporate. No answer. They were closed! I called the Southside Blvd UHaul and they said someone had just dropped off a 15' truck. So I drove there to get the truck. Then she tried to charge me $40 more than my reservation said it would cost. I had to fight to get the original price. Horrible service. I'm very disappointed with UHaul.

ELISIO B.Via online, I indicated the rental need of an appliance dolly. When I arrived to pick up the truck and associated equipment i was told an appliance was not available. Since i was moving appliances up a flight of stairs, the need was indeed genuine, If when renting the equipment via online, there should be a way of informing the customer that said equipment is not available. The truck was in good order. I gave it an above average score since i was in and out in good order.
Daniel L.Always add notes to computer when Customers order Dollys. It's very hard to move heavy dressers and boxes upstairs without them.

Beth S.Discovered that a tire on the trailor was flat, the morning after picking up the trailor at 7 pm the night before, and loading it. Added air to that tire and got on the road. Drove for about 5 hrs and blew the same tire on the trailer on the way to a job in North Carolina. Was stuck on the side of a 2 lane highway for 3 hrs with my 2 children and wife waiting on a replacement tire. Manager of store called after a request for compensation was put in. She was unapologetic and rude. Offered no compensation, instead told me that I shouldn't of taken the trailor to NC, after I had been approved rental extension by customer service. The conversation ended in her hanging up on me.
Christopher T.The location never called to confirm the reservation as promised. I called the day before our reservation and was put on hold for 10 minutes, hung up, called again, put on hold for 20 minutes, hung up, called again and was automatically transferred to a call center because they didn't answer. The call center sent the location a message to call me, which they didn't. I called again right be they closed and they confirmed the reservation. Then when we showed up at our reservation time for mobile pick up, the truck was blocked in, so we had to go inside. Once we accessed the truck, we notices the dolly we paid to rent wasn't inside. We asked the staff and they said they didn't have one. So then we wasted time calling around to find a dolly to rent after the reservation had been confirmed and we were already charged to rent their dolly. If we hadn't noticed, this charge would've stayed on and we would've been without a dolly.

Then I had to get a bigger truck because they didn't have the size truck I wanted. So because of the larger truck, it cost us much more for gas. Then I was charged for gas at the return because they can't read the gages. Not happy with U Haul !!!!
