ANGELLA R.She checked the UHAUL in after we left which made check-in late by 16 minutes. Had to call UHAUL to get the extra day refunded. Just asked for keys, no other interaction.
Cate H.First off I ordered dollies to come with the truck. They agreed and stated I would have them. A couple days before my pick up they called to confirm everything and stated I would have the dollies as well. When I got there they stated they could not give me any dollies and I would have to purchase one to own. Then they also gave me a truck with a little over half a tank but the paperwork stated 3/4ths a tank so when I returned it I lost more money.

Jason T.I am being charged an extra day even though the truck was dropped off 5-15-2022 at the Hammond store at 430 pm. I even stopped by the kenner uhaul on 5-16-22 to have them verify it because all the store had in Hammond was a lock box for key drop off. The kenner uhaul put me on the phone with customer support and I was told that uhaul was closed for 2 months. That was the drop off location that uhaul gave me. I will be fighting this unlawful extra charge.

STEPHEN D.I spent about 2-3 hours in Houston troubleshooting electrical issues with the trailers lights. I ended up having to re-splice wires and even wire them differently because the running lights had a short in them. Because of this I did not arrive back in the city until 4am and had to get 3 hours of sleep before attending a previously scheduled event. I returned the trailer late because of this. I tried to explain this to the attendant but I don't think he understood. I also tried to inform him about the electrical issues so no other customer had the same issue. I'm disappointed I was charged an extra day. Had I not had the electrical issues I would have returned the trailer on time.

It seemed like I bothered them and they really didn't care about the business! I'll never recommend this location to anyone. Hire people who care about the customer!

Steven M.Disappointed that when I picked my truck up on Sunday April 24 that the attendant marked the fuel incorrectly and when I called it to her intention she told me to use my phone to report the error. I don't have a phone so I told her that was impossible. She came out to check the fuel level and told me it was close enough and that she could not do anything about it. I drove a total of 10 miles. I have been making this same trip for 15 years, 10 times a year and have never used more than a gallon of fuel. When I dropped the truck off I was billed for 4 gallons of fuel. Very disappointed!

Erica T.Everything was fine except the fact that when I got there, thr truck I originally reserved was not available because they misplaced the keys and had to give me a whole new truck which made the process take longer but I was called and left multiple voice-mail because the truck was returned late because another family had reserved it. I'm usually pretty punctual about my time but considering it was already later to get my truck because of their screw up it threw everything off

My AMEX account was charged but I did not get a receipt. I expected the receipt to be emailed to me but I have yet to receive it.

Kim M.The truck wasn't ready for pick up as scheduled. The clerk didn't apologize, she just stated she had to teach the new girl how to set it up. I had to wait from 4:30AM when my pick up was scheduled until -7:00AM with a crew of people that I was paying by the hour to help with the move, just for the desk clerk to tell me I she can't find my reservation and when she finally did it, told me to check in on my phone. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never use uhaul again at any location.

DEBRA F.I rented a truck and was told the fuel “was full†by a representative in the store. I went through the App before I left and uploaded a fuel picture showing the fuel was less than was was told. I returned the truck with more fuel and was still charged 2 gallons of fuel. Before I left the man confirmed the fuel and said I had more fuel, but he still charged my account.

bernice T.Make sure that the equipment is clean, especially with covid going around. Do not call and threaten the person who rented the equipment, to bring it back now, or you are sending a recovery team, when they told you that the truck wouldn't be back until Sunday evening, when they rented it. Also, make sure that the blankets are in the truck, in case the customer wants to use them, and also make sure that the property of the previous renter is not in the back of the truck, where the current customer needs to put their property. A very horrible experience with this rental. I don't think I will be using UHaul again.
Amanda D.Trailer was very dirty inside (dust and debris) when we got it. Someone could have easily swept out the trailer before renting it to us.
George L.Better maintenance on vehicles. Over all the condition of the 17ft box truck I rented was good (Clean inside and out). As a Mechanic, The only issue I had with the truck was the front suspension (Expected as a rental truck). The tuck was all over the road, Worn front suspension parts, between 40 and 60 mph heavy vibration coming from the front of the truck. The truck could also use a tune up, very little power when pulling from a stop. Before renting another vehicle I would have to do a test drive before renting another vehicle.
