Very poor customer service, due to the endless wait at the service counter. This does not necessarily concern employees who may be inexperienced, but rather customers who are not prepared in advance by making their reservation online. Also, the employee assigned outside who takes care of the entry and exit of vehicles and trailers, who already seemed tired from his day when it was only 9:00 a.m. and who was walking dragging his boots , slow and very inexperienced at the computer level. Also, there are no chairs or armchairs inside for customers to sit down while waiting their turn, but have to stand and wait in line. Definitely the reception room is much too small, the on-site supply is rather cumbersome.

It takes just to long to registre all the information on site. I had reserved my trailer by phone and when I got on site, it took just to much Time to gent my equipment. The technologie needs to be changed.

Employee not knowledgeable on how to unlatch auto transport. Client had to try to do it then someone else came and helped but only after googling it.
The truc was doing and extreme sound when I was on the highway at 100km/ h and around 50/h. I had to wear shooting range ears plugs whit my AirPods whit the noises cancellation on. No body was able the ride whit me, so I ad to pay their gas. I did around 250k that day. I told de personnel when I drop it but couldn't do anything about it. Bad experiences ever. Very disappointed and will never rent at Uhaul again. I should have been refunded.

The interior of the pick-up that I rent was not clean. Also, I received my rental contract in english and also I clic on the french description to answer this survey and it is in english. The price and the truck was good.

Your staff inside the branch are horrible. Attitude not helpful. Useless comments and made us fell like we were disturbing. This was an AWEFUL experience. The only good were the people outside on the field helped us. But not the ladies inside the branch. We really felt bad going to this place.
It was ridicule !! NEVER AGAIN. I had a reservation at 8:30am , it had a biiiggg line up my husband wait until 10:30am and the lady said the truck is not available because someone dont take it back. So we had a big problem and had to come back at 3pm . Never again. It cost me 100$ and with gaz 140$ for just 3 hours!

Guide the customer a bit more before handing him the keys over. Like to show the number of the truck on the key to find it in the parking lot. To tell him to check his messages and follow the links before leaving for the truck inspection since we have to do it on our own now! Over all the service was really good!

The problem isn't with the equipment and the follow up service it is with the waiting times when picking up reservations. There should be two cashes dedicated to people with reservations and another for everything else. I had a reservation for 11 but didn't get the truck until 11:40. Thanks

Montreal were 1,3 hours late and no discount. Obviously customer services is awful. Organization must be done by a 10 years. They changed my truck and the schedule with a tone like " we don't care, you can't do it differently anyway". Competition is coming and I can't wait for it !

Equipment was covered in engine oil from a previous rental, clerks were very slow and the website never works for me when it comes to returns after opening hours.
Trash in the door I had to trow it away myself so I don't get the blame ( the was a used mask and other trash)

I had booked for two days, but when I arrived, I was informed that I had the vehicle for only 4 hours! Fortunately, our move was very fast, but the change was not good.

Our original truck had mechanical issues. Kim had the truck towed quickly and gave us another one. Slowed down our move but uhaul took responsibility and responded very quickly.

Employees were very slow and did not seem well trained, the whole process was very long despite there only being a couple customers there. There also seems to be bugginess with the app; I attempted to use it to do a return after business hours and could not get it to function at all despite having a brand new phone, leading me to be charged an extra $28 fee

Very slow customer service, took almost an hour to get the trailer ready to go even if the reservation was made and completed online beforehand. Employee completely lost and had to modify twice the contract because they couldn't find the trailer they rented me in the parking. Employee didn't know the appropriate size of the trailer ball to use with the trailer.

The blankets I requested were not in the van. Tire pressure indicator was on when I received the van. Suggest u create a checklist. Also please have a separate line for returns. The wait is too long to do returns. Tks!

I reserved a truck to pick up in a city and to leave in an another. At the last minute, I learned I had to take to truck back to the first city, on my own fees. If I had knew, I wouldn't have done my reservation with U-Haul. Also, the tank was almost empty when I got it and it took an hour just to have the keys, even if I took the time to enter all my information in advance. You should have a line for people who are prepared in advance. Also, the motor of the truck was exceptionnally noisy and not efficient - that is not my first time with a 15 feet U-Haul truck -, it cost me a lot for the gaz. Finally, I learn too late that I had to fill the return form on line, when I took my texts on my phone. No employees told me there would be a 20$ fee if they completed it. That was my last reservation with U-Haul.

The date shows I left emptied the storage on April 4. This is INCORRECT. I emptied the storage unit 1077 at 2771 Rue Mance in Saint Hubert on March 11. It was a busy day that day so I did not go to the counter to confirm storage unit1077 was emptied but i did call on march 25 to confirm. I was then told I would receive a confirmation but did not and then I was sent a bill + late charges on April 3. I have called numerous times to receive this confirmation but NO ONE at The 2771 Mance location EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I have records of my calls on the dates outlined and even audio recordings. i am frustrated with this situation. While the facilities were fine, the management is very irresponsible and the customer service is seriously lacking. I am a good client of U-Haul but have wasted a lot of time with this negligent behavior. All I have requested for weeks now is a confirmation that the unit was emptied on time, which it was and that no further charges would be incurred.

trucks were almost always blocking the access to my storage unit, ok occasion the printer didnt work and the employee made it difficult to receive a copy of my receipt by email, i had complained about trucks blocking the access to my storage unit but this complaint only seemed to make things worse as they were parking the trucks at zero distance from the unit with no room to walk. Overall, was a disappointing experience unfortunately

First of all, Compared to other store places you guys over charge. Second, my credit card expired and i received a new one and it slipped my mind me calling you guys to update. So since your people took down my phone number wrong, I never received any calls regarding my payments. No emails until the final one saying my stuff was gonna be auctioned. Nearly lost all my stuff and then had to pay months worth of late fees. Not Impressed. Will never use your storage nor ever recommend it to anyone. Good day.

The storage unit had holes in the roof and leaked water over all of my belongings for 18 months. When I opened the door everything was covered in black mold. Most of my furniture was priceless antiques, well over 150 years old. I was crushed, I had to get rid of my clothes, linens, furniture, anything that wasn't ceramic or stainless was destroyed completely. Dont ever store your precious belongings at a U-Haul.

J'ai coché oui pour la recommandation à un ami car mes affaires étaient en sécurité mais je lui dirai quand même les points faibles de ce U-haul et il fera son choix car j'ai dû appeler tellement de fois et envoyer un courriel de ma boite de messagerie u-haul mais je n'ai pas eu de reponses. Toutes mes choses étaient couvertes d'urine et de crottes de souris. Quand j'ai ouverts mes boîtes, il y avaient des crottes de souris en dedans. Les souris ont mangé mes meubles, chier partout dans les boîtes. Le pire c'est que lorsque j'ai trié mes choses en jetant 1/3 de mes possessions chéris dans la poubelle, et j'ai déménagé ce que j'ai gardé dans mon appartement, il y avait des souris vivant dans mes boîtes!! Donc je suis enragée et traumatisée par rapport à cela et je ne recommenderais JAMAIS cette service. ====================================================== All my things are covered in rat droppings. The rats ate through my furniture and boxes, leaving poop all through my things. I sorted through my stuff to throw out 1/3 the ruined things and most damaged stuff. When I moved my stuff out of the storage into my apartment, their were live rats inside a box!!! Do NOT rent storage in this disgusting facility.

Pire expérience ... Toutes mes boîtes ont été rongées par des souris (ou un autre rongeurs que je ne connaîs pas !?! ) , toutes mes boîtes ont des excrément de ces bestioles. Mon divan blanc en plume d'oie doit être jeter. On ne parle pas du service INTERMINABLE, attendre plus d'une heure en ligne pour du service... Et de plus, j'ai vidé mon local deux jours après le début du mois à payer et u-haul ne rembourse pas au les journées non-utilisées, entre vous et moi, c'est du vol ! Vous devriez faire quelque chose pour améliorer la situation car juste en ligne d'attente TOUS les gens étaient dépassés par le service médiocre. Je ne recommanderai plus jamais u-haul. < Marie-Ève
