LADANA HWhen I returned the next day to pick up my auto tow, the first young lady acted like she didn't want to help me and just passed me off to her co-worker. The young lady that actually helped me was new and open to assistance and treated me with the utmost respect.

KATERIN TWhen I arrived at the store 2 employees were eating breakfast at one of the computers. Asked for a certain type of wardrobe box, got very little help finding them. The rental trailer that I was given would sway back and forth badly if towed above 60 mph. It seamed to have a suspension problem.

FRANCIS PBased on my personal experience I cannot really think of any improvements to be made. Checking in and out is a customer's dream: easy and quick, which is not to be underestimated in this fast paced world. I rented several time and, even when things seems a little hectic, the process is always smooth and there is always an associate ready to help. The manager has a great rational attitude, keeping operations running efficiently.
NICOLA CI believe that this was an oversight on UHAUL, as I had schedule 2-3 weeks prior for delivery of my pod, but UHAUL failed to meet and communicate with me. I had to call to confirm the schedule and turns out they didn't let me know the time, and I had movers ready to go. If UHAUL would of communicated earlier to confirm the time then I wouldn't have to worry about moving the movers schedule around. Yet UHAUL failed to do that and I have to pay on my own. I do wish that I would of gotten a discount of this as I am paying for Delivery Fee.
MAIKHOA HStaff was terrible, unfriendly and not helpful at all
THOMAS BInside the store there were two employees and one employee outside hooking up the equipment. Two of the three employees were working so hard to make up for the lack of the third employees performance. There was a leading sitting in the chair doing absolutely nothing while there was a line of customers waiting to be served.. I do understand if that employee had a different job title to where it prohibited her from helping customers inside the store, that being said I wish that employee found another spot to relax so the people online would not feel that they are being ignored.
HALMUDE NGreat service, I appreciate U-Haul and U-Haul Moving & Storage at 290 for helping me out with the storage and relocation of my items. They reinforced the box, which I appreciate, although that could have led to a problem since the people who helped me unload didn't have the proper tool to undo the screw securing the box. Other than that and a few slightly damaged lamp screens, everything went well.

JOHN BI was not told that this was a local rental. I thought it was a one-way and when I tried to drop it off at my destination was told they couldn't accept it. So I had to pay a daily rental fee I wasn't expecting.
BRIAN HAsk customer if they think dolly may be newded. A small reimbursement would be nice for overage paid for gas. Actual gas reading did not match the contract. Overall ..satisfied!
VIOLET GIt sure would be nice if this could have been a one-way rental, but it seems that's rarely an option for trailers with ramps - either utility trailers with ramps or cargo trailers with ramps. Hopefully this changes in the future.

JULIAN MThe driver that came to pick up the pod was very friendly. My main point of frustration was that the location had zero flexibility in scheduling what time of day my box would be delivered or picked up. This led to the box being dropped off at an inconvenient time and picked up first thing in the morning, leading to me staying up all night to finish packing.

Noone advised me that would happen or even act proactively to prorated my rent until delivery. I spent more with UHAUL in storage. I will never use UHAUL again. NOT professional at all. We've used them multiple times for moving across the country before and never had a problem but this time, they lost one of our UBoxes and on the scheduled day of delivery of our other ones said there wasn't a driver available to drop them off. DESHAUN WI would recommend the rep verify the information, like email, address, etc, before renting or the truck or trailer. Instead, they only pulled up an account with the phone number and ADDED that person to someone else's uhaul account. That was my OLD phone number, with me old address (which is also my dads address), and I have been receiving emails to MY email address. To the rep, next time do your due diligence, and your job, and verify the correct information. The customer you rented to did NOT get their receipt or other emails. And yes. I did call uhaul when I got the 1st emails with the reservation info to try and have them update it. Obviously, no one did anything

Had been going to this location for the past five or six years, stopped because it was so bad, bad attitude, slow no professionalism whatsoever. Even this location was closer I started going to Perry & 1960, and that location gets a 10. I tried location again about February or March, and so far thing are okay.
KENNETH HThe location is very convenient and well set up, the equipment was also in good condition. The service was really poor. I waited 15-20 minutes to get checked in, then was told the U-haul representative would meet me outside to hook up the trailer. After waiting in my truck for 45 minutes I had to go back inside to remind them I was picking up a trailer, they questioned me that surely they had already taken care of me.... On dropping it off, I waited at the drive through as the instructions stated for 15 minutes with no service, finally has to go inside to get someone to come out to check the back in. The customer was the last thing on their minds in both instances.

ROGER C | Expérience généraleYesterday, my day started out badly. On Wednesday I went online to reserve a 10x10 storage unit at the West Rd location. It reflected they were available. When I arrived yesterday I was then informed that they didn't have any available. The manager Rhonda Holliday took over assisting me and her attitude was less than professional. The way she was talking to her employees was simply terrible. She then pretty much told me that it was no way i had a unit reserved even with my confirmation number. There was no way I could have reserved something she didn't have. Again, the way she ways talking with me was less than professional. I then told her that I don't know what was going on but I indeed had a unit reserved. My business was then routed to the 290 and Fairbanks location. When I arrived, Ms. Latoya acknowledged me immediately. I asked if I could take a seat while I waited. She granted my request as I waited. I was very grateful because I was in a lot of pain still recovering from a hip replacement. She then started to assist me. Her customer service was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered and my check in was painless and welcoming. She didn't treat me as if I was a bother to her as Rhonda Holliday did at the West Rd location. Latoya really treated me as a welcomed guest instead of a customer or a number. I am so glad my business was shifted over to the 290 and Fairbanks location. Ms. Latoya and the Fairbanks Crew really have their customer service down like a well oiled machine. TWO THUMBS UP FOR THE FAIRBANKS TEAM FOR A JOB WELL DONE!!! Thank You Ms. Latoya.

It wasn't worth reporting and when we asked about it it was said to file a claim. So we closed the unit and went somewhere else that is cleaner and had better ventilation and climate control. I would not ever recommend this facility to anyone. The manager/ owner was really nice, his staff sucked especially when he was gone.

I reserved a 10x10 and when I came from Dallas to check in my storage it was not available I could not check in online because it was not allowing me to. And then the next storage unit the 10x15 there were none available. Now keep in mind I reserved my storage 2 weeks in advance as well as my truck. And when I arrived to the facility they did not have what I reserved. Miss Latoya made it right. I had to accept a 2 5x5 or go to another location which I'm new to the area of Houston.. need to say I was tired and ready to unload this truck we had to make it do. Spoke with the manager Mr Jeffrey. And he said that he would take care of everything. And make everything right for me before my storage unit is due on next month and I'm looking forward to him holding his word because this was a very big increase. Since I've been traveling from Las colinas in the Dallas area. To Houston. Miss Latoya was very friendly and was working very hard at multitasking because some other co-workers had called off and she was doing her best to assist and help everyone in a timely manner. Miss Latoya is the best. ☺️✅

The staff is very helpful, and checking accounts for 5 units was no problem, especially setting up auto draft. The elevators and restrooms always worked. The trucks we rented also worked perfectly.

KIMBERLY Y | Expérience généraleMy storage was safe but someone threw some shoe sandles and shoes into my storage it had a few openings on the sides on top and broke my glass on china cabinet. I had to remove the glass and when I opened my storage this Winters all my stuff was reorganizated differently. I found a rat trap in the middle back section of my storage. And a medal vase I has was damage some boxes tore from the reorganizating. Still looking for a coushion to one of my couches. I left the storage on June 12 and waiting on my pro-rate refund.. My due day is the 17th. I have insurance with uhaul and will look to see if they will pay me for damages. The lady closed the account and I asked for refund and damages she will talk manager: Jeff .. and said he will call me.

A new home purchase in town and a job assignment move to another state. Jeffrey and his staff were able to help me with the size of truck and supplies that I needed for my move. As well as a storage room that fit my needs. No only were the staff friendly the other clients at this Uhaul location were friendly and helping each other out in many positive ways. This facility is beyond unprofessional, I've had multiple issues with my storage unit access and all the employees have loaded excuses or just tell you the manager isn't there and to come back which isn't really helpful when you need assistance immediately. One day I needed access to my unit and my key didn't work which was odd because I did not change my lock, I go to the front desk and someone changed my units lock without notifying me or giving me a copy of the new key. When I asked for an explanation as to why management changed my lock and did not call me, I wasn't given an answer just "we changed it for security purposes" which I think is concerning. They also didn't have the new key labeled and a employee had to go through a plastic bag of unit keys to try to find the new key for the new lock. That was exhausting. I decided to move out my unit because my experience has been the worse. I move my stuff out, go to the storage two days later to see that they already cleaned my unit and secured it with a "customer ready" tag before I could even tell the front counter I wanted to start the move out process. I'm so grateful to never have to deal with this location or uhaul specifically ever again.

The dash had a warning message that the RR tire was low s d the front desk person said she could not help me which was not safe and poor customer service. I had to take the truck to a station. to get it taken care of of. In addition I got other warning ⚠️ messages while driving the truck back to Houston. I did not know that you needed three contact phone numbers. Had I been told that beforehand the process would not have been as complicated. Then when I opened up the storage unit there were pest traps all over the floor. I went downstairs to ask the about them and they told me to just leave them in there. Which made no sense to me because the floor was almost completely covered with the sticky traps. So my experience was not the best. The owner was friendly and helpful.

We had to beat the lock open/closed to secure it! I made several complaints, nothing was done but I was billed every month on time for a broken storage. I couldnt enter the storage outside of operating hours because it required assistance.
