I never used the truck I paid for it in the morning and was supposed to pick it up on the street behind the facility but the reason I rented it in the first place was cancelled so when I came back at 2:45 I just turned in the keys. I did explain it to the customer service rep on duty but she said nothing she could do.

Directions for twenty-four hour pick-up were inaccurate which caused a forty minute delay in my day and resulted in me sitting in morning rush hour traffic which I had hoped to avoid by picking the motor vehicle up at 5am.

I was in town to pick up some merchandise, I live 3 hours away. I reserved a pull trailer from this location, when I arrived to pick it up they did not have the basic equipment to purchase like a tow ball so I went 4 miles down the road to purchase one. I returned and they hooked up the trailer then tell me I need the electrical connector for tail lights and blinker. They send me to an Auto Zone a mile down the road hooked up to a trailer with no working tail lights at dusk. When I install the electrical connector at the Auto Zone (where I purchased it), it does not work. I try to take it to another U-haul dealer and they tell me I have to call an 800# so they can tell me where to go to get it fixed. By this time it was getting dark so out of desperation I drove to the nearest Uhaul & Storage store for a resolution, maybe to switch to a trailer with working lights. After I explained the situation, that the trailers lights were defective, they tell me I have to take it back to the dealer I got it from (which is now closed). By this time it is dark and they are telling me to drive 8 miles hooked up to their defective trailer, knowing the tail lights do not work.....illegally. Only after telling them that I was not going anywhere with this trailer, that it was unsafe & illegal, did they say they would call someone (George in traffic) to see if they can get the account switched and drop the trailer there. Why wasn't this the initial resolution after having knowledge of this safety issue? Both dealers and the store not only didn't care that they were putting me at serious risk, but they told me to do it. This day was a colossal waste of my time, I ended up driving back home (3 hours away) with no trailer and no merchandise. I really hope they follow through with their promise of a full refund.

Let the renter know that if they're renting for 4 hours the way they need to check in when you are closed is VI a your cell phone. It was somewhat upsetting after I drop the truck off half hour after you guys closed that I was supposed to check the truck in while I was at the location dropping it off. I got home and then that's when I check my phone for whatever and was informed that I would have to pay an extra twenty bucks for not checking it in the way you wanted it checked in but I was not told that's what I needed to do when I said that I only needed it for 4 hours normally I just keep the truck for 24 hours.

Rented a truck from a young man named Eli half way threw my transaction another gentleman came up and told him that truck was on empty and he said he's too far into it to go back. At no point did he

This truck should not have been on the road. The transmission did not shift well and it took two hands to put it into park. Very bad. The truck was so bumpy that it added 5,000 extra "steps" onto my fitbit watch. Ha. Also, the person following me only went 60 miles, but my truck showed more than 80 miles driven. Then I was charged an extra $50.23 for something, maybe extra miles? But I never received any invoice showing me what I am being charged for. I don't think 20 extra miles would be that expensive and I left the truck with more gas than it had when I picked it up, so it couldn't have been for a gas charge. Overall, I am very unhappy and disappointed with this rental experience. I would like someone to call me to explain the extra charge. And I would like the extra charge credited back to me. Start by getting rid of Damien. He was the worst! Rude, unfriendly, condescending, stoic and unknowledgeable. Now on the other hand and the ONLY reason I rated the location "excellent" is the OUTSIDE guy, Jose. He was welcoming, friendly, smiling and helpful. I got the impression he would have helped me move, if I had asked. Great guy! A real keeper! Send Damien back to training and while he is there ask him to look for his personality and desire to help the public. Both of which, he seriously lacks.

I worked with Hope on pick up day. She was very helpful and friendly. She helped me pick the right truck and accessories at a much lower price than I could have expected! Truck needed new wiper blades. Both were shredded. I expected the truck to be loaded with the items I pre-ordered and paid for. Although the U-Haul service rep brought 5 out of 6 boxes out, she claimed they didn't have the last box (a telescoping TV box) and completely forgot about the furniture pads. Both service reps were busy when I went back in to get the furniture pads, and since I didn't realize the bundles were in stacks of 6, I only got half the quantity I paid for. Finally, I was told I would be credited for the TV box, but was not.

Stop with the text check-in - I scheduled my truck for a 9 am pick up, but was late getting it. I was not told that I had it reserved for only 6 hours (I had estimated a 6 hr return but wasn't aware that was binding; I thought it was a daily rental) and that my clock had begun at 9. We were only halfway through moving when I got a text saying the truck was due back by 3 (it was already after 3 when I saw this) and I got another text that suggested my truck would be reported as stolen if it was back ASAP. When I did return the truck, the online system wouldn't recognize my location and I wasn't able to check in. The truck was the same value I've used before, but the customer service and electronic interface was annoying

A Big problem when the U Haul attendant hooked up the car trailer he did not adjust the hitch and the trailer jumped off the ball and the safety chain was dragging and not secured. Lucky no damage only close call. Always double check their work!!!

It too way to long for the employees to create an account/tcontract. I was the only one there at the UHaul located at 43rd and Glendale. She did not seem like she understand what she was doing. When I returned the Uhaul vehicle again it took over 30 minutes to complete the return paperwork.

In addition I was unable to replace the straps that had fallen off and therefore we had to wait for a person to come by and help.
