Office staff at Glendale Ave is friendly and super helpful!

The young gentleman who helped me in the store was extremely busy. Since he was the only one who was working. I couldn't get a hold of anyone who worked at this location on the phone. After sending an email it took 2 days to hear back from the manager get my storage situation taken care of. Reason why I didn't go inside the store was because I was out of town getting ready for my move to Arizona from California. I personally wouldn't work with a company that I couldn't get a hold of directly. Answer to #4 was base on the poor guy working alone with lots of customers who were patiently waiting to be helped. But if it was regarding anything else I would give it 0

It feels like the company went out of their way to make this a horrible experience, even after opening a case with a promise to have someone reach out to me I have not heard a word. I C am mot going to waste anymore if my time reiterating what all of the issues are since it goes into a black hole and nobody will do anything about it

It advertises 24 hour access but when I get there, it's only 7am - 7pm! What???! That's my work day! How am I to access anything? If you need to close at night then that's what needs to be advertised. And it should be 6 am to midnight or something more user friendly.

When I signed the paperwork I choose this storage facility because it said that it was 24/7 access. My husband and I work during the day and come at night to work on his job related inquiries and my hobbies. I would not have gone through this storage facility being that it is further from my home then others, if it was not 24-7 access. The manager Enrique told us that be had to be out by 7pm one night, I told him that the paperwork that I electronically signed and the website said 24-7 access. He said that the website was wrong. I don't see how uhaul would do false advertising. I feel like we should contact our lawyer about this issue if we are not able to have the 24-7 access issue resolved.

A complete waste of my time... Too small for my particular usage. Rented in conjunction with a trailer rental... I'm moving cross country, not cleaning out my junk drawer! Never a mention or question of my needs (in sales terms: UPSELL?). Associate couldn't care less about me as a customer...

The only issue is we were given a unit and no lock!! We almost got locked in at the storage unit because once we unloaded we had to go back to the office location to get a lock with only minutes to spare!! We selected this location because the website states it has 24 hr access which is untrue it's only until 7pm!! That's a VERY big difference. :( Unit was clean and also the complex.

Had rented a truck and the girl new I was gonna go rent the storage unit and a different location but didn't tell me that's we're I had to rent the unit from so I had a truck but couldn't put my stuff til the next day cause all of a sudden her computer system went down so had to wait to the next daysmh

The hours on the Internet and access gate All say 24 hours Which is not true we found that out the hard way with a truck loaded and a trailer to find out you didn’t open till nine pretty disappointment

Very difficult to close out our storage units and the staff was of no help making it easier. We tried to close out but they wanted proof we moved our stuff out which the unit and office was at two different locations so it was very bothersome and they had there locks on it because we were late by a week so we couldn't access the units to show proof. They went after us with late fees and a fine and are currently trying to auction off our empty units. There system is very messed up and i hope this helps someone with avoiding this location and try and find a place that has the storage at the same site of the office

Upon entering you have people with reservations and those without, there is no expedite of service for those clients. People that scheduled in advance had to wait and scheduled in advance was to only hold the vehicle evidently as it seems the ones with reservations would have priority of some sort or separate line as the line was out the door. Also with having two locations, there is no access to someone to address issues. I called and got the call center. When I arrived at the storage there was a lock on the unit. I had to get back in 20ft truck and drive back down using my gas due to all calls routing to call center. It was frustrating because of the limited hours and it wasted time.. Hours for weekend move are too tight for a self storage facility. The counter people were ok, nothing that was above and beyond just doing there job. I did an apology for the long wait. I also thought I would have 24/7 access, but that isn't the case. It is the reason I selected uhaul.

No office at that location... And the woman that did help me...at the other location... Was not friendly or welcoming. More of a...I here to do a job... I've done it...NEXT... Not very pleasant... especially when you already have to go to seperate locations for both.

Having to ge to a separate location for registration... office purposes... Was very inconvenient. Especially when you are extremely exhausted... pressed for time... Paying movers... Depending on others for help...etc... It is VERY... INCONVENIENT...!!!

I would of liked to be given heads up about the access hours being limited. It created an inconvenience because the online advertisement stated it was 24/7 access. We are moving out of state therefore we were looking for a storage unit with access anytime and day. If I was given that important piece of information I would of looked at a different company. I was informed at check in which was too late to even look for another company. I will never booked with uhal again.

The first time I went in to buy a lock the employees were nice. The second time I went in to pay my reservation the young lady did not seem very friendly at all. She seemed irritated. The 3rd time I went in the employees were very friendly and happy to assist me.

They wasted couple hrs of my time while waiting in the heat for them to come get lock off unit that i had paid for. Bad enough everyone talked to told wanted to rent truck for 1 day, & utilize free month storage if available. Was told 'oh sure, no problem'. Not! So, fine, i pay for unit, but cant get in, so i call from call button at gate (no office on site) so after left on hold in direct sun for about 15-20 mins, then hung up on, so called back, half hr later, 1 of the 3 girls working shows up w|key 2remove lock....but key doesnt work. So she leaves, (to get right key, but according 2girl 'its the right key, just doesn't work' ok sure) so different girl comes w|another key....gee almost 2hrs later, finally able to get into unit to unload truck so can return on time. No, I will never recomend using thier truck rental & free month storage again to anyone & definitely not use the 51st ave & glendale location (& 51st|northern managed by glendale office. (Yet no 1 tells u that before u show up at location @northern, to be told 'oh u have to come to office on glendale'. They wasted my brother & I time (half day w|all bs merry go round) & $. But they can refill ur bbq tank just fine so gave 2 stars instead of 1.

The unit was locked but emailed the manager and he had it unlocked right away….. call center had a hour wait time to talk to someone….

At least one office employee needs to be available at this location and needs more carts but otherwise no issues at all and it is clean and quiet within facility

No 24/7 access, and very hard to find any flat carts as people don’t put them back where they belong I know you guys do the best y’all can do but the staff was very helpful and had great customer service the Gm Coty Gastlum I think it was was a doll went above and beyond had a line of 4 people, multitasking while taking care of two customer simultaneously.

Wrong size truck, I asked for a 10x10 storage and got 2 5x10, and the location I wanted didn’t have nothing available after I was told they did, the whole day was a nightmare

My family had an overall positive experience and while it was a little inconvenient to drive to another place to pick up the key card. It wasn't anything major and the employee was really professional and very well trained to provide wonderful customer service. I have been a faithful customer for 20 plus years and will continue to be. Thank you for always being consistent.

I had to buy my own lock after your CSR had me walking around checking empty units for locks. There was not a single lock anywhere. I am keeping my lock, so you shall not require me to leave one for you.

Damian was very helpful, friendly and courteous. His store was very clean . The floor was taped off for social distancing, which told me he is very concerned for the health of his employees and customers. My unit is at 51st av and Northern. Bryan met me at the gate and walked me to my unit. He has caring employees also. I would definitely recommend this U Haul location to anyone.
