I was told in WI that I had until 12:30pm on 5.31.21 to return the U Haul & I received a call at &am from the 50 W Alexis location & was told that I had until 10am to have the truck returned. I w/ given the 1730 W Alexis Rd location for storage. When I got to 1730 W Alexis location, Kyla was very accommodating to our storage & U Haul needs. Due to the circumstances, she extended the return out for us due to all of the inconvenience. Horrible experience. The truck they gave me didn't have a quarter tank of gas when i first got it, the breaks were bad that i had to push to the floor to stop cause it sounded like it was releasing air, the alignment was off which was very dangerous and they didn't sweep out the back of the truck it was so dirty.. very disappointed in the service & when mentioned to the staff they acted like it was no big deal. I don't know. In the time it took to do the paperwork, Kyle had the trailer hooked up and ready to go. When I returned there were 2 trucks ahead of me. A young man came out and unhooked the trailer and sent me on my way. I was very satisfied with the entire transactionPatrick M.

That location is always busy busy busy! Customers are more at ease if you acknowledge them when they walk in, but doesn't happen.as often as it could. Look under the racks of merchandise at the front counter and chairs in the waiting area......... That's what we are doing while waiting in line LOL But the BEST customer service is from TREVOR! Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and calm & patient with some of the most ridiculous customers I've ever seen! True asset to the company!Nora W.

While the inside of the vehicle was clean and I understand there is not much you can do when a renter damages exterior components, when I took the truck on the highway, the hood was popped and began fluttering. I was forced to pull over to the side of the highway to secure the hood. No damage occurred, but it very well could have. Might be a helpful pre customer delivery check to make sure hoods are closed before the vehicle is taken.Gary W.

Other than the leak in the roof, that got some of my boxes and furniture wet, everything went well. Oh, and your internet went down the original day of scheduled day of pick up. I was able to come in the next day, and still get the 26'. The staff was great, each day that I dealt with them, both in person and by phone. Thank you. Do not allow smoking in vehicles. The truck I had stunk really bad of cigarette smoke, it was nasty. Or if they smoke they should pay for a deodorizing.Jeffery G.

When I returned the van, nobody came out to the return location. When I came inside after, two people were sitting down at the counter one on his cell phone. When it was time for my receipt, the other worker made me come to him so he didn't have to get out of his chair to hand it to me. It was like it was a bother for them to have to work today.Joseph S.

Clean the inside of the vehicles. It's looks and smells as though it was never cleaned and it only had 10 000 miles on it. It was difficult to see out of the windows with the sun because the inside of the windows were so dirty and hazy.Beth G.

Must have been a bad time; poor girl was stuck at the counter with a long line, but when I was helped they extended out the time I had with the van (rented for 2 hours, received 4 hours) and the extra time did end up helping.Dustin M.

When I dropped off the trailer the signage was very good. However the sign instructed you to stop and to stay in your vehicle and wait for someone to come out. But no one came out and I had to go inside so it's a little confusing.Paul D.
The fuel was NOT between 3/4 and 7/8 (13/16 indicated on the gauge...) when I left with the vehicle at the start of the contract term... I did not remember to address this because of unmarked damage and issues with a purchase before I left with the vehicle at the start of the contract, I DID return it ABOVE 7/8 to avoid gasoline charges... however, more care should be taken in the future to 1) mark damages (there were a LOT of unmarked damages), 2) cite proper fuel levels... this was not a great expense; however, it was one I should not have borne... as 13 miles should have used less than a gallon of fuel, and I put in 2,8 gallons to ensure I wasnt charged...David V.

I was told I had one size that was outside, told to finish my reservation online which I did. By the time I get to the store with the first load of hired help, the system is down. Can not find my reservation, card and code would not work. Upstairs unit. Trailers in the way making it extremely difficult to unload. Now have to get another unit which I CAN NOT afford and have to hire another crew to come help me. Not to mention the door didnt close last night. My crew was my extremely upset, we had to move a trailer to get in to upload. I was so embarrassed and will get out as soon as I can. I CANT AFFORD to pay for another unit while trying to rebuild as a single mother and get back into a house of our own. Very upset and literally cried over this.Becky D. | Premières impressions
