Customer service was horrible and not believing that I had my U-Haul stolen from me was unbelievable! I'm disgusted with Alpine's higher ups. Steve is only person with some class (from regional division).

On a cold and snowy day, the ice and snow were cleaned off the van I rented, and it was nicely warmed up before I got in. Great customer service.
Truck was in great shape but definitely needs new tires. Grand Rapids, MI had about 7" of snow that weekend and was hard to get around.
Everything was great. However the outside mirror on the drivers side needs some WD40 so it can be adjusted. Everything else was great ðŸ‘
The truck ran fine. But, I think someone could have taken time to clear snow off the windshield. Most people don't carry a brush long enough to clear the windows on a large truck.
Please try to clear the ice more fully off the parking lot.
The store was clean & manager was very nice and check in process very good. I often use trucks for local light duty hauling and I always get the oldest truck because it's local. This truck had 190,426 miles and chugged like a 90 year old chain smoker with Covid & had a headlight out. It did do the job so I can handle that but I CAN'T handle the new smart phone protocol I learned AFTER I got home because I was driving-LOG IN AT THE SITE(TOO LATE I'M ALREADY HOME!)-CREATE AN ACCOUNT-TAKE PICS-BLAH-BLAH...I'm old and not internet savvy, don't have the time for all that!! Then it stated I might be charged $20 "convenience fee" if I don't even though I returned the truck clean and fueled up-that's not a good policy. $20 fee and I'm gone.
I barely needed to get out of my car. They also loaned me a hitch ball at the proper height and had an adaptor to go from a seven pin to a four pin connection. Very friendly and fast. Nice work, guys!
Change the tires on your trucks!!! Our rental truck got stuck in a plowed driveway. Even though we purchased additional insurance, we got stuck with the tow bill. Horrible service.
Came to pick up trailer and right turn signal wasn't working. Employee tested with meter, checked bulb, still wouldn't work. We asked if he had another trailer, he said no. He then proceeded to wiggle the wiring. The turn signal started working after he did that so he sent us down the road with it. About 4 hours into our 10 hour drive, we discovered the lights stopped working again. We were in the middle of nowhere with no uhaul stores around. Roadside service in this area would've left us with waiting for hours. We had 6 hours left to go and had to continue on only having running light, brake light, and turn signal on one side of the trailer. It was pretty scary driving through the mountains in the dark knowing that. He never should've sent us down the road with that unsafe trailer.
It was very cold that morning and the service was fast.
Refund people's deposit when the truck is returned like the employee tells people
My comment is to be normal and also help out the snow off the windshields before if it snows before or after.
Absolutely wonderful experience every single time and I am a weekly renter. Trailers are always perfect and the process is so simple and stress free.
Maintain trucks better Make the online rental and return program a little simpler. Lots of issues with the website Because of the poor website usage, went inside. Customer service took forever

I have to say that the pick up and drop off were the fastest and smoothest I have ever encountered ... and it was professional too.
Mirrors were unable to be adjusted. Definitely did not feel at ease driving when the side mirrors couldn't adjust.
Customer service was friendly and when I lost my mother's check they called me right away. They was understanding when I couldn't make it back in time, however I went back to rent it another day. The rep was welcome to come and held my needs.
Driver front brake didnt do much, pass front brake did all the work and pulled the truck to the right during braking. tires need to be balanced, shakes like a mother at highway speeds. i see you have been replacing parts because of an battery power issue. Maybe dont rent a truck with a battery charging system that doesnt work great to a husband and wife with a 2 month old kid with them.
My last U-Haul experience (before this) was at the Apple Ave. location in Muskegon. This experience was WAY BETTER! Yay!
The key drop box should be closer to the equipment drop-off. At least some signage would be helpful
The person who helped us was really great and made the rest of our experience better. She refunded our missing dolley and furniture pads.

Please add in writing on the contract that the item must be returned to the same exact location or you will be charged over 300 dollars. No where on my contract did it say that this item was not for a one way trip. Nothing on line ordering said so either. Stop trying to rip people off by this. Never have i had to return any uhaul item back to the pick up place in over 35 years of using them.
Picking up the truck went fine, but when I got to my destination and after emptying the truck, it wouldn't start!! It was late at night and when we called for assistance, we're told it would be 90 minutes before anyone could even get there! We sat and waited and when he got there (90 minutes later). We're told the battery was dead and then we had to sit and wait until he could put a new battery in. Why would you release a truck that had such low battery life? I shudder to think what it would have been like if the truck had broken down on the highway!!! Very disappointed in Uhaul!

We went to drop off the vehicle back off and the truck would not start and was stuck in my driveway. The brake light and engine light was on and the truck would not turn over or start but all the lights were on. I waited on the phone for 40 min to even talk to anyone from uhaul and then they told be it would take 30 min to get ahold of someone from roadside and another 40 until someone showed up only for them to get there and was able to get the truck to start but informed us we had to drive a truck back that wasn't working 2 hours ago and that this truck was in an accident 6 months prior and has been towed for the same issue not.long ago. So now its almost 8pm I have to take my 2 year old who should be getting ready for bed in the car to follow my husband who is driving a hazardous vehicle and make sure he's safe. So I spent $150 dollars for over 2 hours of my time wasted and a hazardous vehicle. I have already filed a complaint but am absolutely furious and disappointed and have no intention of using uhaul again.
Was seamless . Used website to pre check in. Counter person was friendly and professional. Gentleman that accepted return was also friendly and assured us that we had completed payment and paperwork.

When I arrived in the morning there was no one in the office, had to go searching around the back of the building to find them. Trailer was old and beat up, even more than usual for a Uhaul. There were several customers that entered the store during my brief visit at least 2 were not wearing masks and the employees did not even ask them to put one on. I will avoid this location in the future.
I was double charged. Waited on hold for 45 minutes before I hung up and left work to go into the location in person. The truck was in horrible condition while driving. I was charged for a dolly I didn't use. It was bad. Never again.
My original location for pickup was off Remembrance Road in Walker, but no one was there at my scheduled time. So the truck was there, we were there, but couldn't get it. By calling customer service we got our pickup location changed but that meant they weren't ready for us and we had to wait for them to get a vehicle ready, which isn't their fault at all, but it was a shitty experience for both myself, my wife who dropped me off, and your UHaul staff at a different location. Why offer the neighborhood partner if it's going to create more problems for your customers and your own staff...
The gentleman who was outside. He hooked the trailer up and made sure everything was working. He was very polite and very helpful.
Equipment was mostly clean but very old. Waited more than 25 for assistance when arriving to pick up reserved truck. Similar to past experiences.
The clerks were absolutely wonderfully helpful and professional.
local service establishment was great. your 800-line wait time is very bad -- too long -- and your system directs all calls and inquiries, even simple ones, to wait in the long queue.
Easy simple drop off.
Trucks seats were ripped up. Asked for mobile pick up because of COVID, found out they never actually do that so I had to go inside and work at the desk. Highly annoying.
Once again my rental was outstanding! Clean Truck, equipment second to none. No problems. Fast and friendly people to help and make your rental as easy as can be.
Make sure the identification information is secure! Do not post my driver's license information to someone with the same last name. Also, if soliciting a trailer to move, look at a map. I kept receiving texts regarding trailers for cash credit, which I would have been open to; however, Michigan is nowhere near West Virginia, I would have spent more on gas than the credit I received. Customer service was great at both locations!
The truck had the overhead door open and floor was covered with leaves when I picked up my rental. Please make sure these doors remained closed while at U-haul locations.
I had an appointment, the truck had an eighth of an inch of ice on the windshield. This could have been started up and road ready.
Alpine you haul is by far the best uhaul site I have ever worked with and rented from.
Staff was friendly but gave me inaccurate information when asked. This led to me receiving an additional charge. I even called a uhaul customer service rep to confirm and I was still charged extra. Communication/training seems very poor across the board and the customer pays the price. They told me I should expect a call from corporate to settle my dispute... Let's see if their word is good this time...
outside of the car was very dirty. inside was not bad. It drove great. Had a problem with the battery and called it in and they were excellent. When I came back to drop the van off explained it to the man taking the van back and he stated he would write up a maintenance work order on the battery. Everyone was wonderful and I would rent from this location again!
Service was great.
I had the POD delivery but with the people I spoke on the phone, the people who delivered my POD from start to destination point were professional and curtious...plus helpful with any questions I had.
I was told by Monique that I would not be billed for December. I was billed on the 20th and my U-box was delivered/unloaded and returned on the 21st😞

Horrible customer service and communication throughout my entire process. I've had to call the highest ranking associate I could reach to help resolve issues. I've indirectly been charged for items.
The gentleman helping us was kind and professional. When we asked where to park the Ubox trailer, he wasn't very knowledgable but to be fair that wasn't his job. He offered to take care of it for us.
Monique worked with me to get my U-Boxes delivered and picked up when I had extenuating circumstances. Thank you very much. I did not use the storage facility.
EXCELLANT delivery and pickup service was done by Jamie and Danielle. However, staff at store location when making original arrangements was not knowledgeable of UBox.
A terrible experience. Box was delivered about 3 hours later than promised. Pickup was 9 days late! Tons of excuses of too busy and understaffed. Bad customer service. Pass on this option.
Did not visit the facility. Had U-Box delivery and pick up. Was very happy with Danielle’s service!
Staff argued in front of us. Delivery of UBoxes were an issue. Communication was lacking. Kept sending me bills I didn't owe.
I rented a U-Box from this location but did not personally visit the actual store.

The staff was unaware of my request to pick up my U-Box and complained I only gave them 24 hr notice - which they hadn't noticed. They passed the buck on everything and took no ownership.
