I'm leaving a high rating for the staff and the location, consider that a five star rating, nothing on their end was a problem, however I was sort of blindsided by the "$20 if you return after hours" fee which was not something that was included in my initial quote while booking on the app (and you would think would automatically trigger and notify me with a "hey just so you know.." notification given that I was scheduled to pick it up at 5:00pm and would have it out for 4 hours). I understand if this is normal policy and I guess me being unaware of it is my bad, but it's really odd to me that it seemingly didn't calculate that into the cost when I was booking ahead of time. If I had been aware I would have just paid the $50 I would have needed to pay for delivery of furniture that I was transporting with the van and I would have saved myself the time and hassle and extra $10 in fuel and mileage I had to pay when all was said and done. So again, nothing wrong with the staff here but I don't know, that's sort of a duplicitous charge and I'm probably going to look for other transportation options in the future for anything other than moving all my garbage between two different houses. The van itself was in great condition and handled well.

When I tried to use the app for after hours drop off I kept getting an error message and it wouldn't let me complete the process, so it looks like the app is a little buggy. Just a heads up

I will never, ever use uhaul again! I paid for insurance, when uhaul got stuck in some soft sand they tried to charge me 415 for a tow driver!! Completely ridiculous!!!!

The check engine light was on in the truck as soon as I started it. Everything seemed to run fine though. This was my first time renting a U-Haul and I wasn't told about the pre inspection link I had to fill out at all. So I didn't even see the link until after we arrived at our location. Then it wouldn't let me fill it out because it said it had to be done before we left. No one told me about it once. So I was not aware. Overall the truck worked good though and we were able to get what we needed Done for moving

The trailer I received was all dirty inside there were mud prints all over with leaves and styrofoam I swept it out at home

It was really great service , They called me the day before to make sure I was going to be there I got there at 10:00 sharp and it was done by 12:00 even talked to the mechanic I did it, He seem like a real nice person I would recommend this place to anybody.

Not location specific, but the mobile verification process seemed to take longer on the app than it should. If open during business hours next time, I'll go inside vs mobile pickup. Otherwise I had great service at this location every time we have utilized their services here! Thanks

The self pickup was very handy! Unfortunately I ran over glass in the parking lot and had to replace a tire. I wish there wasn't broken glass in the lot resulting in car repairs.

KeAire was managing this location and smoothly and efficiently rented three trucks in the few minutes I was there! Best of all she was cheerful and kind to all of us. Top notch 5 star and I'll be back!

Double check to be sure full tank of gas. I had to stop on my way to Metro-Detroit. This made my long day of moving longer. First time using this location.

The only complaints is that whatever they use as a deodorizer was awful and after traveling migraine inducing. It was just too strong. The other issue was how loud the truck sounded. I wanted to make my husband turn back as the engine sounded so rough and was very loud. It drove fine, but considering it was cold and you have to listen to a very loud engine and smell the air deodorizer, not pleasant traveling!!

There was one woman that worked at the counter that needs to work on her customer service. She had a horrible attitude. But picking up the truck was easy.

Quick, friendly, handled the online reservation without any fuss on my part. Hook up to trailer was nice and easy.

The truck was clean, but it needs an alignment and it was difficult to steer on the highway. Everything else with out reservation was great, they were able to accommodate 2 furniture dollies when we didn't reserve them.

There was construction being done at the U-Haul entrance. There was no signage saying how to get into the U-Haul lot.

When I arrived I waited inside the lobby for 10 minutes before anyone came out to the front desk, when I brought the truck back, same thing. It seemed under staffed with the same person opening and closing that day. The trucks fuel tank was not at the reading that the paperwork indicated, it was 1/4 tank less.

Please purchase some new trucks because the one I had was all over the place, it seemed like the transmission was slipping and the steering was unstable.

Reservation (10 days in advance) was processed easily and quickly at the counter. Truck was ready to go.

The location is clean and everything is easy to locate for my return of the u-haul truck. Key drop off was easy as well. Thank You for being close by my home and I would recommend them if you need to return a u-haul truck. I have been at this location before and it is a nice business to return or pickup equipment.

Uhaul is always a mess somewhere in the process. The employees are typically rude or unhelpful and I am constantly getting told incorrect information. This is relevant to all my uhaul experiences. I have never had a stress free or smooth process with your company.

Our rental truck had cigarette butts and ash everywhere and it smelled awful, mirrors didn’t adjust so had a huge blind spot on my left side and only one windshield wiper worked

Closed store at 7 I called call center at 630 pm letting them know I would be 2 minutes past 7. When I showed up girl started at me in 0 degrees weather and said sorry we are closed! Never coming back

I asked about the trailer being big enough to hull a tractor and they said yes, when I was unable to fit the tractor on the trailer I brought back the trailer told them about the situation and they would not refund me.

When I dropped of the trailer to the one way location , they pointed out to me and took a video of how the trailer was not even properly attached to my truck.

I reserved and 20' truck by visiting the Uhaul website. Fairly easy process with lots of add ons that I skipped after selecting the truck and date. I picked up the truck at the local Uhaul and other than needing to scrape frost off the windshield, it was ready to go. I didn't have any problems with the drivability or functionality of the truck other than the rear cargo door being difficult to open because it was a little sticky near the bottom. The reservation included 4 days, which was convenient since I had to move my stuff 2-1/2 hours away. The whole process was easy and I was happy with the truck rental.

Have my rental available. Picked up truck in morning and came back in afternoon to pick up the tow dolly and had to wait 30 minutes for it to be returned (inadvertently rented it out for a local move). Also had to push to have staff replace tailght that was only 1/4 lit. Another 15 minute wait. Clean out the cab of the truck. Found 2 water bottles, a can of Red Bull, McDonalds bag full of garbage, a Bic lighter and loose nacho chips under and behind seats.

this was an awful experience - I would hope you better maintain the equipment before the next customer takes it on the road - the manager was very apologetic & made good however I lost almost 2 hours out of my trip -

The gentleman helping us was kind and professional. When we asked where to park the Ubox trailer, he wasn't very knowledgable but to be fair that wasn't his job. He offered to take care of it for us.

EXCELLANT delivery and pickup service was done by Jamie and Danielle. However, staff at store location when making original arrangements was not knowledgeable of UBox.

A terrible experience. Box was delivered about 3 hours later than promised. Pickup was 9 days late! Tons of excuses of too busy and understaffed. Bad customer service. Pass on this option.

The staff was unaware of my request to pick up my U-Box and complained I only gave them 24 hr notice - which they hadn't noticed. They passed the buck on everything and took no ownership.
