There isn't much you can do about a line of customers. They handled each person fully and moved on to the next customer. I will be back.

Jeffrey C.Wasn't that much impressed with my experience at this U-Haul (U-Haul Moving & Storage at Arden Way). I had reserved a utility dolly and a furniture dolly but when I took the truck and drove all the way to the storage I realized that they had put an appliances dolly instead of a furniture dolly. I coudn't drive back due to time limitations and my furniture was heavy I couldn't lift with me and my wife, so I had to pay $50 for landscapers to help move my furniture. Upon returning the equipment they didn't even apologize for the mistake they've made. Only refunded me for the wrong equipment given to me and that's actually what I suggested not them! The truck was also sooo old and not gas efficient at all.

I went to that location yesterday @ 6:53 because I needed a motorcycle trailer because my bike broke down on the side of the road. They said they stop taking walk in at 6:45. I know I was there very close to closing time but I was there before they closed. They would not rent me the trailer because the MOD said it would take to long to hook up the trailer and they wanted to go home. Where is the customer service at these days. He could of made my bad day a little better if he could of taken 15 minutes more in his day to give a loyal a helping hand. But no 15 mins was to much time out of his day to help. I WILL not ever go back to the location and might not use u hual again because the mangers do not know what customer service is.

Steven B.Seems rather ridiculous that UHaul will refuse to rent to me without a secondary number at which an agent MUST speak to a live person, obtain their name, relationship to the renter, and phone contact info before the equipment will be released. Either you trust me with the equipment, or you don't, but for an early morning pick-up, to wake someone up is silly. What is that person going to be able to do in the event of ANYTHING happening. They have zero control over any situation. Very, very frustrating.

When returning my rental the app wasn't working and when I deposited my keys it set off the alarm to the building. There was no way for me to complete the rental in the application online so I just had to hope for the best. The intructions were very poor.

Christopher M.The Ford truck had a Steering Wander problem was making it hard to keep it straight. Also, there was no cruise control (note that your instructional on how to drive a truck mentions using the cruise control). The result for such a long trip was it cause severe pain to my right hip by continuously needing to press the gas pedal. Poor fuel consumption made my move very expensive. Perhaps switch to buying from fuel efficient truck manufacturers?
Agapios K.Make sure your gas lines are not cut so when you get gas it's not all over the ground at the gas station and make sure you have enough people upfront to take the U-Haul instead of telling me after half an hour that somebody outside today took my key so I waited in a half hour in line after asking her if I could go somewhere else to return the U-Haul she ignored me I was not happy I will not go there again I will go to the other one that I always go to they just didn't have a truck for the size I needed

Alexia A.I went by 4-5 days before my move in to make sure they would have my 10X15 unit for me and I was told that I would. They even showed me on their map where the location would be. I got there Sunday morning with a moving truck and staff to unload the truck and went to the office to set up everything. I was then told they didn't have my unit. They had rented it to someone else. So here I have everything with me, and they don't have a space for me. I had to have the movers jam everything into a 10X10 unit. The stupid thing on the U-Haul staff's part is that they had my paperwork along with my credit card on file there, there was a reason I went by days earlier to make sure everything would be ready, and it wasn't. Total incompetence by the whole U-haul staff who didn't seem to care. With movers it was a cost to me of just short of $700 and to not have what I asked for not available was horrible on their part. All in all they are very sure to collect my money without any problem. The stupid thing is that I went to give them my credit card and she told me she didn't need it because she had it on FILE!!! Horrible service. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Is someone from this facility called me abou told me about my storage unit being empty and when I explain to them that I need to check on the unit before I officially relieve the unit back to them. Is that same person called my wife and asked her if the unit needed to be closed out. To me that is something a child would do when they're not getting the answer of that they wanted. The employees are gave great customer service but the manager is lacking that Personal Touch.
Erik L. | Expérience généraleMy only criticism is that as a new customer, I was not allowed to choose a storage unit closer to the front of a very large warehouse, because I was told by the manager that showed me spaces that the units at the very back (furthest walk from entrance) had to be rented out first. I think that the customer that rent earlier than later should get the better choice of unit location, not the opposite. Otherwise, I was very happy with my 9 months worth of storage and the staff was very professional.

They charge for dollies and other things when they should be free to use to customers who are paying money to either use the trucks vans etc or storage unit just another making tactic.

So of course I had to rent a larger space at a higher amount, what was I to do with a truck full of furniture sitting on the truck outside and a truck waiting to be returned. After getting the unit and learning the intricate entry system, I learned that all i had to do was swipe my card, which i was NOT given at the time i signed the lease, better communication and customer service could be implemented at this location, or perhaps Kaylah just needs more help.

I am so pleased and comfortable knowing my things are safe and secure within the Arden Way Uhaul storage facility. While I was moving my things in at the facility, at least 3 or 4 times, somebody would set off the very loud, very painful to hear Siren Alarm that is set off any time a unit door is opened without having had the individual passcode that each unit lessee is given when you initially lease a unit there. It made me realize how secure the units are there. I've had my storage locker burglarized at 2 other storage facilities in the very recent past and now that I'm with uhaul, I feel safe and secure and that's worth every penny....

I had to go after work, so we got there right before closing and we only got a map of the storage facility. We needed a larger storage space which was not available, so we had to get a second storage space but with no discount. The unit numbers don't seem to be in order, and when we took our things into storage we couldn't find the unit and ended up spending a half hour looking for it. This was very confusing at first. We ended up having to pay the movers an additional hour. Very friendly staff and clean place.

Jessica the cashier did and said nothing, but she rang him up.
Alenki J. | Expérience généraleI rented a unit at this location for less than one month of being there and left because of the manager Kaylah Ealy. Upon moving in on June 11th I asked employees on site if I could park in a specific spot in the parking lot near storage units. I was told it was okay as long as we had a unit on the property so my fiancé Sarah and I started parking there regularly on our visits. Everything was fine until June 22 around 8 AM when an incident occurred with Kaylah. Sarah and I pulled into the usual spot we were at and Kaylah came rushing up to us as soon as we left our vehicle and started pressing us very rudely about how "we can't park there!" and "I'm the manager!". We calmly tried to explain we asked if we could park there when we moved in and the staff said "yes". We've also seen other people parking their cars in that area on occasion and it's part of the property so we thought it was okay to be there. Kaylah just kept spouting off about how she's the manager and demanded to know why we were parking there. We tried to explain we just got that new storage unit and can't park up front because Sarah is in danger being pursued by a violent stalker. We explained the limited parking up front puts her car in direct public view and if her stalker sees that he will try to physically harm her. We told her we had to leave our last facility because of escalated violence towards Sarah and property damage to our last rental facility unit. Kaylah condescendingly said "uhhhh sorry, whatever you're going through but you can't park here!". It was obvious Kaylah wasn't mentally stable, she was aggressive, was being super petty about parking, and completely disregarded our unique circumstances and Sarah's safety. Kaylah was more concerned about being correct and attempting to assert her dominance over us instead of being a professional, level headed, and understanding person. She refused to make a very reasonable exception for parking and has zero concern for people's safety on the property. We tried to peacefully work things out and be rationale while Kaylah just disrespected us unprofessionally. Since Kaylah insisted on putting Sarah in harms way and refused to cooperate, we made arrangements immediately to leave the facility . We didn't return to storage again until moving day to avoid further harassment from Kaylah as a precaution. We wanted to report her sooner but waited until after moving day to report her out of concerns she may try to retaliate against us for whistleblowing on her. The experience at this facility was highly unpleasant and we left because of Kaylah. The restrooms on the property weren't being cleaned regularly causing a problem, but we overlooked it until we were poorly treated by management. The other staff made minor mistakes like giving us a storage unit under another persons name on move in day, but were otherwise decent people. Kaylah is the only one I'm concerned about and couldn't stay at the facility knowing the manager is careless and reckless in her behavior. I actually tell people not to go to that facility and go somewhere else because of Kaylah. We tried to work it out with her but Kaylah didn't have the mental capacity to do so and we expect management to hold mature conversations without being aggressive and rude.
