This unit was a local rent not long haul. The previous renter had smoked in the cabin and ashes left in ash tray and dash. Back had not been swept out. This was the first time in many years this has happened to us. Overall experience went smoothly, we have used this facility several times and they have always been great.

ANSWER YOUR PHONE !!!!! I 'bribed' a staff member to tell me that the 'policy' is that after 4 rings calls go to the Main National Office where three (3) times I had excessive waits, two over 20 minutes, one over 15 !!!! The rates are very fair, the truck in excellent condition, overall a very good transaction. I WILL use again.

The truck I rented ran great, drives and handled well good exceleration and braking. Easy to go on-line and reserve a truck. Very easy going into U-Haul store to get keys and make transaction. I do however need to make a complaint. Part of this is on me. After given the keys I went to the truck I went to the truck and immediately got in it and started it up to let it run for a few minutes before I left the U-Haul facilities lot. I noticed that the lower round mirror attached to the large mirror on the passenger side of the cab was shattered. I didn't think at the time it would be an issue. Then when I attempted to merge out into traffic and use the large passenger side mirror it was totally out of adjustment and was useless. Needless to say it was unsafe to drive like that. So I pulled into a parking lot, got out of the truck and moved the mirror. To my surprise the mirror moved loosely and swiveled back and for and would not stay in place. Every time I hit a bump that damn thing would move and shift and became useless. This made it difficult to merge into traffic left to right not being able to see traffic coming up beside me on the right until the vehicle was right up beside the truck. Dangerous and scary as hell driving that damn truck. I should have caught before I took off but the U-Haul employees and management should inspect those trucks thoroughly before renting them back out. I bitched at the U-Haul employee who received the truck and handed me my final invoice / receipt. All I got was an "okay - thanks" and a snicker. To Hell with that. Not even an apology or an offer to take a few bucks off. I should have raised hell with the manager but was pressed for time. Our father just passed away and we were clearing out part of his condo and had family in from out of town on tight time restraints.

When I picked up the trailer they didn't help me hook which isn't a big deal but I was told they had to hook everything up and make sure everything worked and to take pictures. The lady didn't check anything and only took a picture of my license plate. The right rear tail light wasn't working. I know my truck wiring works because it works for my own 2 trailers. Then when I returned the trailer they told me to put it wherever there was a spot open. So I did and I unhooked it all in the pouring rain then they came out and asked me to move it to a different spot and stood there until I had to get back out in the pouring rain amd hook the trailer back up and put it in a spot that was very tight and hard to fit the trailer in. Especially with it raining like it was my windows were fogging up and they didn't help guide me in to make sure I didn't hit anything else. I managed bit still they were very useless there. And they didn't have mask on. I ended up being soaked fro. Having to unhook and hook the trailer back up to put it where they wanted it even though they said anywhere would be fine.

The width of a 6x12 trailer w/ramp is misleading. The ramp and entrance are not as wide as the rest of the trailer. I had to use the ramp with the regular gate and use my own ramps to get my cargo loaded. If it hadn't been for the attendant, I would've had problems.

Front end was falling out of the truck, and the high pressure power steering hose is leaking, which left a quart of power steering fluid on my brand new driveway. Not very happy about that at all. Customer service was good, truck was clean minus the cigarette ashes in the ashtray.

The reason I rated poor is that I was charged an added $40 for an extra day. I was called earlier in the day and was asked about the truck and explained that we were to have the truck through the end of the day. The person on the phone explained that it was not problem and there would not be any added charges. This location charged me an additional $40.00. I question anytime there are added charges that are not part of an original contract

when I picked up the trailer the CSR was knowledgeable and very helpful. The young man who helped me back up the trailer when I returned it was very kind and had a good sense of humor. He didn't make me feel ill at ease at all while i backed into the small parking space. Overall a good experience renting from your Beechmont location.

Their employees are extremely rude. They mislead you by telling you they have a 10x20 but its actually 2 10 x 10 and charge you for that. Its more expensive then 10x 20. During the time that we were unloading, both garage doors were not working and had to opened manually. One even collapsed on our unloading lamp. Overall I would never recommend this place for anyone who is looking for storage.

When I went to pick up my truck, the information in the U-Haul computer system did not match my reservation. I had reserved a truck, a furniture dolly, and an appliance dolly. The woman who helped me said there was a trailer on there. I didn't reserve one and it didn't show one on my reservation online. She took it off on her end. Then it was only showing a furniture dolly. I handed her my phone and pointed out the two dollies that I reserved. She glanced at it and said "Yeah I got that it's the trailer." In the meantime, the manager, Steve Torbeck, was at another register and answered a personal phone call, on speaker, while there were other customers waiting to be helped. He proceeded to have a loud and angry conversation with a woman I assumed to be his wife, about a car battery she was buying. He said to her "I think I'll kill the next person I see" and then hung up the phone. Then I guess he received a text from someone, I suspect an employee who wasn't coming in. He said "And I'm sick of this...female too." He clearly wanted to call her something else. So the next customer stepped up to the register and gave his name and what he was there to pick up. Then this man, the MANAGER, said "Oh, you're my next problem of the day." He was not joking. He was a complete jerk and loud enough for everyone in the store to hear him. I have never encountered a more unprofessional person in my life. I definitely will not be returning to this store. I understand when things are busy and stressful. I've worked in customer service for many years. Being stressed out is not an excuse for such unprofessional behavior. I'm grateful that the woman who helped me was nice.

This location is convenient and has all the supplies we need. Service is lukewarm at best. Truck was filthy when I picked it up. Spent 30 minutes cleaning it before I could start loading. Climate control fan work intermittently.

I called twice to ensure my U-box would be pulled, and it wasn't even on the schedule. The owner threw his phone on the counter when he realized it hadn't been pulled and that he'd need to do it. There was another man working, but he wasn't able to help with checking people in or run a forklift. Overall, the service we received was very unprofessional, and other guests apologized to us for how we were treated by the staff.

Customer service was great. Truck was brand new and very modern. Needing a way bigger location in Hamilton Ohio. Very small location there and had to drive many miles for equipment.

A window of the truck rattled like it was going to fall out the entire time I was driving. It was a distraction driving a truck that I am not used to. I called two days prior to pick-up to add a dollie to my order. When I arrived to pick up the truck, the dollie had not been added. Despite the fact there were 50 dollies outside of the building, a customer service rep walked around for 10 minutes looking for one with a specific number. I was paying movers by the hour and this cost me money.

all the pics etc were a bit challenging in the dark when I returned....and when we left also. We think we recorded the temperature gauge rather than gas. Just a lot of new things....and we are old! But I think we basically got it done.

When I made the reservation it was at a location close to my friends house so we wouldn't have to pay a lot for milage but your company changed to the beechmont location which caused me to go over the miles I put down. When I spoke with the owner at the beechmont location he was rude & said there was nothing he could do. I don't feel I should have to pay for the extra milage because you changed the pick up location

Early pick up option is very helpful but the associate seemed a bit grumpy to help me. He wasn't rude, just not entirely cheerful. I chalked that up to being 0730. The young lady who checked the truck back in was extremely pleasant and thorough.

While checking in, the guy checking me in, his tag said he was the owner, was having trouble with the photo app on his cell phone, . When he had to retake the picture his comment was “god damn it, “ then when he was still having issues, he commented about the “fucking” phone. Not language I would expect over a counter while doing business.

This location was amazing. My original reservation was to pick up at a local place called Team Grinder at 1902 Sutton Ave Cincinnati oh 45230. I was shocked when I arrived and I was informed by one of the co-owners that they were closed yesterday and only worked with Truck Share. Where the customer picks the key up out of the box and returns the same way. This business is a scam. It smelled of marjiuanna. It was blatantly obvious they are doing illegal activities and using the uhaul rental as a way to look legitimate. I called the Uhaul Corp store on Beechmont and thank God they were able to help me and we went straight there and were treated so good. They also told us that they know all about Team Grinder. They said Uhaul corporate will do nothing at all and customers keep coming to them after having the same experience I did. I will tell you now that I have and will continue to post on social media that this authorized Uhaul dealer is a scam and illegal and encourage our neighbors and community to avoid and only go to the Beechmont location. I would have to assume this can't be good for the Uhaul name and can't figure out why you would let anyone use the Uhaul name.

The gentleman who waited on me was extremely rude and downright nasty. You could tell he was in bad mood. When a customer rang the buzzer for assistance he yelled "You don't have to ring the fucking bell, I know you're there!" He asked for my license and when I handed it to him, he snatched it out of my hand. He is obviously hateful, spiteful and miserable and should not be working here.

I would so recommend this particular UHaul because it was everything that I could ask for in a storage unit. For the last five months I had to use one of the climate controlled spaces in between moves. When I closed out the space and unpacked my things, it was as though I had stored them in my home. Perfect, no mold or smell! Steve and the staff were courteous and helpful.
