DAVON FDrop off location! I live in Gwynn Oak MD but I picked up items in belair MD which is why I rented from belair. I couldn't do a drop off close to home but there are locations close to me.
VANDERVELT AGood customer relations at this location
ANTHONY TTruck windshield wiper fluid was low and not coming out to wash window. Passenger side view mirror was broke and inflexible. Headlights did not work unless on high beams. Service was mixed with little wish to be timely or move with haste to get service done. Oh and gas was near empty when received. This location is often a problem for any rental I have and won't go back.
jesse wI have used U-Haul trucks from this location before and the experience was excellent. I like that it is an easy and fast process to reserve rental through the app. Customer service is always helpful and professional. My only issue this time was the truck I rented wasn't clean and the gas was almost on E. The truck seemed to need maintenance. Whenever I would accelerate it didn't have much speed and the needle gauge would go up to 3. Otherwise I would continue to use this location and recommend to others.

KAY Athey had just finished hooking the trailer up to the truck when I arrived (finished detailing the truck as well) no time to fill the tank before I arrived. They thought the truck was in a too tight of a spot to pull out. I told them "nope move that vehicle over there thatta way and move this vehicle thissa way and I'll be able to slowly pull ou, watch me". They moved the two trucks elsewhere and I was able to slide my rental outa there. Mike

QUINTIN BIt was difficult to get a U-Haul. Everything is done. Online was really inconvenient and I sat in the car for 46 minutes. Just trying to book a U-Haul when I was right outside U-Haul location.

GIANLUCA PI have rented trucks from U-Haul probably over 100 times and have pick up from every U-Haul facility you can think of. Normally when I pick up a U-Haul truck, I will leave my vehicle at any U-Haul facility and pick up once I return the U-Haul truck which is standard procedure with U-Haul and good costomer service. When I book at Balair road location in Baltimore for a truck I was not informed that my truck will be towed away. However upon returning to drop off and pick up my vehicle, it was towed away across the town And I had to pay 480$ before collecting my vehicle. At the same time, they were other costomers car's that were parked at U-Haul facility. So why was mine towed away and not all the Other vehicles that didn't have U-Haul on them??? I have evidence to prove that they were other vehicles Parked at the facility not belongin to U-Haul and were not towed away. Again this is my first time renting at Balair road location and this is my first time to have my vehicle towed away from a U-Haul facility which has cameras and the manager admitted to me that he saw how I packed my vehicle and pick up a U-Haul truck. Not like he couldn't figure out if the vehicle belongs to a costomer or not because cameras showed when I came in and pick up a U-Haul truck. So all I want is the 480$ return to me. People working at this location need to be questioned for collaboration with the towing company to scan U-Haul costomers
Isaac NThere's nothing to improve everyone at that location was excellent and amazing and went above and beyond to help me and to make sure I was safe I will be returning to that exact location at 4650 Belair Rd Baltimore, MD 21206 I can't remember the guy's name who helped me out but he was a black heavy set guy wet dreads I believe and he was amazing I will be returning very soon to rent a vehicle again just because of him he was amazing no complaints from me Love Miguel Keith Anderson

LEWIS BSince staff aren't supposed to provide counter service, there should be a sign to that effect, and detailed info provided on how to book a UHaul. When one tries to reserve a van online, one should be told that it is not possible to reserve the van online nor in person and that one has to have a cellphone handy upon arrival and click on the QR code to reserve the van upon arrival. Staff was rude by just telling me to click on the QR code.

Millicent EThis location is good. nice clean truck. it had full tank of gas as I requested. They explained all to me in advance so i had no surprizes. The only problem was after reserve online which was easy. I still had to bring in my id and referenes names & phone no. prior to coming for pickup. when i came in for pick up I had to bring in Id and reference again and also had to scan a QR code which my phone couldn't do. The young lady had to use her phone to scan it. That was the only issue. Great location and great staff.

The only suggestion I have is that I'd like a more real time verification response when and that the vehicle is returned; and that someone would go over the operation of the truck for example how to adjust mirrors, where hazard lights and windshield wipers buttons are. I was told I had to put it back where I got it from. I was too worried to put it in the back by the dumpster because it was not a clear path
stephanie hI needed to pick the truck up at 8 am when I arrived I was not able to pick it up because the lot was blocked by other trucks and then the app told me I was late. I had to go back home and call to insure the truck was not given to someone else. I was not able to pick the truck up until 9am this pushed my moving back by an hour. Which meant I had to pay my people for another hour of time. This was unacceptable
Tonya SPlease clean and sanitize the vehicles as they are returned and clear the glove box of the multiple rental agreements that collect there. Tried to give me a really foul smelling van, maybe hoping that I wouldn't notice, but I did. I was given a nice van and sent on my way.
DENISE CRodent droppings every time I went in the storage facility, including the day I moved in (was not clean when I moved in my things). The sliding door was broken the last several weeks of the time I rented, which made moving out extremely difficult (was told that GM would come and open it for me but he never showed, despite being "five minutes away."), and sliding door was locked the rest of my time there (employees did not unlock during office hours). Overall filthy and felt like I had to clean/decontaminate my belongings once I moved out of storage, despite the rent being raised several times over a year.

stephen h | Expérience généraleI booked my storage unit on Thursday prior to my move from NC on Saturday, when I arrived at the U-Haul facility they were closing however one young guy still provided me assistance and he is the only reason I did not give on star. No one reached out to me regarding my arrangements and took it upon themselves to rent the storage unit I had reserved to another walk-in customer, and was give a unit that was the size of a tall hall closet that had an obstruction in it so that made it even smaller (unit 1120), when I reserved a unit to accommodate a 1-2 bdrm apt. I read the specifics to not confused things only to be told that "Tony" gave away my unit. So when u had help on Sunday, now is turning into I have to find some help on a Monday because now everyone will be working, or find another storage facility and hopefully it will be close by to not incur any additional charges. This is by far the most frustrating and disappointing experience I have ever had with U-Haul. I may leave another message on tomorrow after I speak with management if they think they about to charge me for additional mileage or a extra day because I now have to find someone to help me during the week and everyone works during the day. Whoever Tony is needs to come unload this truck.

Kyasia J | Expérience généraleThis storage factory has a mice issue. There was an obscene amount of rat/mice feces when I went to clean out my storage. It was so awful I was anxious about loading the things into my car. There was only one person working the front desk and a line of people. Two others showed up, and took their time logging in to help. They no longer have a share area (this is notated by a tiny note taped to a board full of words- I barely saw it), and also gave incorrect information on how to dispose of unwanted items. I drove over 12 hours to retrieve my items. I arrived on about 3hours asleep. No one in the office was helpful on how to handle the issue and they didn't have a dumpster or area for disposing items. I took me about 1 and a half hours to figure out what to do so I could get back on the road for 12+ hours back home.

Got the house and was excited because i knew i had good and new furniture in the storage unit. I went the the storage unit and found rodent feces everywhere! Everything was damaged, chewed, torn, had yellow/discolored staining or had rat poop on it . Dead bugs were found and there was even a dead animal in there. This was heartbreaking and a HUGE waste of my time and money. Hopefully I'm compensated properly to replace what was lost.

Once inside building on the main floor very convenient to get to.. Place very clean. Inside, right size for my needs. Lots of space for things I needed to place there. Anything you needed to move into your storage area was right there.
