randolph S.The guy who wanted on me was rude . When I brought the vehicle back the Manager stole 75dollars off my card and he was rude .I put the Gass over 3/8 and he took 75 dollars for fuel fuel when I asked him what happen he made up a lie uhaul. Know how much gas is in the vehicle when you leave and when you bring it back they know how much gas is in the tank he is a thief I will never rent from them again

Archie M.Under inflated tire burst on the NJ Turnpike. Very lucky trailer didn't flip and take truck with it. Trailer was removed and towed to next exit where the tire was eventually replaced. The other tire was checked and it was 20-25 lbs. low. Don't think the equipment is checked between rentals at least at this location. There is no way to directly speak with anyone at any rental location. All calls go through a central answering service.
james M.Location is awful! No room to enter the parking lot to get equipment. This location is my least favorite by far! People are friendly and the guy who processed my rental initially was very helpful. But when you have no room in the parking lot off of a busy street, it makes it a hassle!

Clyde T.I paid at pickup yet received a receipt after drop off that was more than twice the amount I prepaid with NO additional miles. There were several undisclosed charges listed. I selected 7am pick up by mobile devise but was advised I still had to go inside to get the vehicle. I didn't get to get the van until after 7:30 delaying my day's progress. The rep at pick up offered to change my drop off to the 24 hour mark but did NOT advise that if I brought the truck back at that time (7am Sunday), there would be an "after hours fee". Adversely, if I waited until the store actually opened at 9am, I'm sure I would've been charged a late fee in that case as well.

Amy M.Uhaul completely messed up my move. The first, and what was supposed to be the only, day I went to pick up my truck and it wasn't at the original location. Called customer service, they apologized and gave me $50 refund, then told me to go to another location. The truck there didn't work. Customer service then wasted about 4 hours of my time transferring me around before giving me another refund (which I never got and they're now refusing to acknowledge) before finding me a truck at a third location. Ended up not being able to completely fill it up before I had to hit the road; I had to be at my destination by a certain time. So then I had to come back a few days later for another truck. Same thing happened AGAIN. Wasted 2 hours that time. Never got any of the equipment I ordered either. At least they refunded that. I'm still waiting on my other $50, but customer service keeps arguing with me hoping I'll just drop it. Unprofessional, to say the least. What should've taken 1 trip and just 4-5 hours ended up being 2 trips (more money for them I guess, since I had to pay for 2 trucks) and 13 hours. Useless company. Save your money and go with one of their competitors.

I made reservation for a pick up truck online and got to the store just for the sales lady to tell me they haven't had that many pick up truck in months and the few they had was already reserved. Thank goodness the lady was able to help me rent another vehicle.

Kehinde T.The gentleman that was working outside cleaning the trucks was not very helpful and when I returned to drop the truck off at 4:45 , he said he couldn't tell me what to do as far as returning the truck properly because he was about to get. The facility did not close until 5pm. His customer service was terrible overall. I will not recommend or use this particular UHaul facility again.

I felt that I had personal attention and that my experience was a priority and would be favorable. Furthermore, the sales floor was well stocked and even stocked with things that I might have need for regardless whether I was renting a vehicle. Kudos to each employee, the overseeing management and the companies policies and training.

You'll never get an actual person from the store on the phone …it is always directed to customer service but they are helpful. Do not rent a locker at this place !
BRIANA B. | Expérience généraleMy husband and I have spent several days in June moving and used UHaul as our go to for trucking/supply/and moving help needs. We move frequently due my husbands job, however this will be the last time we ever use Uhaul. Multiple truck reservations were relocated to different pick up locations not remotely close to us and the desired truck sizes were never available causing us to have to rent 2 trucks which incurred double timber charges as it relates to, gas, tolls, and rental cost. Stop trying to comp mileage no one wants extra miles, especially not when you out of state move is within the allotted mileage given. It's really simple don't allow people to make the reservation for a specific truck size/location if your unavailable to accommodate that request and then leave people in an absolute scramble 24hrs before an out of state move. If your unable to accommodate the volume/needs give people to ability to take their business somewhere else, however 24 hr notice is hardly enough time.

So meaning I was charged a fuel charge and another charge for I really don't know. So I am requesting my overcharge returned back to me

I specifically reserved a truck at a location near my home and it wasn't until the day before I was told my reservation had been changed to a different, less convenient, location. This experience will make me think twice before renting from U-Haul.

Once inside building on the main floor very convenient to get to.. Place very clean. Inside, right size for my needs. Lots of space for things I needed to place there. Anything you needed to move into your storage area was right there.

When it was my turn, he was kind and amicable even though he seemed to be the only front desk employee in one of the busiest days of the year in B'more GRADUATIONS all over the city! Lots of moving ins and outs. He handled everything though I bet he wishes he had backup! Give the guy a BIG RAISE! ❤️❤️ The only problem we had was after hours entry. The BIG sliding door would NOT open - forcing us to unload an entire load through the small door. Thanks for listening !

The portable stairs didn't work properly. I had 3M movers there and was paying by the hour. Needless to say that they were being held up for their next job. While I'm force to incur additional charges. Unsatisfied customer.
