Not a thing. The staff at 3029 Fairfield Ave made everything so easy. From check in to pick up, to drop off and inspection. Truck was immaculate. Perfect size for our need. Thank you for making "move day" so smooth!

I came here around 10PM on the same day I rented the U-Haul. I don't see a drop box, only keypads with out a code to leave the keys at this location. Do I leave the keys in the front seat and the car door open? I don't see a drop box in the front entranceway.

This was the third time I've used UHAUL and the experience is always great. Check in was fast and easy, and the drop off was the same. I only wish I could put the drivers seat back a little since I'm over 6ft in height, but I understand the limitations so that's ok. I trust you guys, so I'll be back in August when school starts again. Thx. Bob

Very little. The only comment I would make is that the truck was pretty old (132 000 miles) and was a bit quirky on the short trip but it worked and got the job done. The recommendation of helpers was first class - Moving Help, with Larry, Cesar and Cameron were really helpful. Merci!

I wish there had been a one way truck at a location closer to me

It's been awhile since I used Uhaul. The times that I used their services, the customer service was always ATROCIOUS (not this location). Today I had a living room set I was giving away and decided to reserve a truck since I didn't know anyone with a pick up truck. The young man Kenny I believe his name was, customer service was A1. Positive attitude, went over my contract throughly, and made sure he was willing to answer any questions I had. He did not make me feel like I was a bother like other locations in the past made me feel. Loved his energy and I most appreciate his help. Will definitely come back to location again. Thanks for your help.

Make it so someone can rent all day

No clear instruction from the booking agent about the drop off. The guy at Waterbury location told us to drop it off at the nearby U-haul in Fairfield--there is actually NO U-haul in Fairfield. We drove to this closest location but were told initially that we would be charged for dropping off at the wrong location. We should drop off at the other Bridgeport location but I nobody told me that. Eventually the guy on Fairfield avenue in Bridgeport accepted the return and he promised that his manager is going to dispute the extra charge for the wrong dropping location. But when I checked out, they refused to take off $14 insurance fee. He told me it should be the booking person's fault. Also in the uhaul website for locations, there was no Uhaul in Cheshire the one list on 197 Main street does not exist. Also the one in Fairfield on 3617 blackrock Turnpike does not exist either. Please verify the information and update on the website to give customer accurate information. We drove to both places on one day which could be our bad luck. But 100 % inaccurate !!!

The elevator is very small and difficult to navigate with loaded carts. The automatic door closure is far too quick and annoying to have to constantly have to deal with while trying to navigate getting a cart in and out. Definitely not ideal for moving loaded carts.

I just can't believe a brand like u-haul doesn't train their employee what good "customer service" is all about. You are dealing with customers through out the day, the least you can do is be nice, help them out. Savie Vere really degrade the quality of this location.

The team was very helpful. I wasn't aware that the lock would already be in the unit waiting and they explained the process. I had an issue with my door code and the manager was able to assist me and have a team member issue me a scan card. The unit is smaller than I expected so a picture with dimensions might have been more helpful, but overall it was a great experience.

It was a brutal morning after a huge storm and the team of guys there had my truck rental ready and the cab warm when I arrived and they had already cleared off the snow. At both pick up and drop off the team was friendly and easy to work with. They called me in advance to inform me of changes on site due to the storm and I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service.

Add signage to the 2 parking lots. I parked on 1 side but my rental was on the other side and you can't access the 2 lots without going through the building.

I was charged for two days and only used one..I even returned before the 10 hour period . I am waiting to speak to a manger to resolve. Desk personnel said they could not leave them a message and that I'd have to call back when they're in(2 days later). I used the website to sign out the car upon return and it said it couldn't complete bc of location services (which was on),,and it wouldn't finish because it couldn't identify my location.

Elevator is absolutely way too small in the main building. It was not disclosed until after a unit was isolated on the second floor that this was the only elevator. It made moving much more difficult.

The only draw back to this whole experience (first time using any storage space) is having to pay for a whole month even though we took our things out in the middle of the month. Other than that, it was a great "adventure". I would highly recommend this facility.

The floors are like an off-road course,the elevator is way too small,needs a freight elevator really bad,the lights kept going off every couple of mins,there was never any paper towels in the restroom and the threshold coming off the elevator and especially the one for the outside door are a real pain in the butt and my unit was pretty much on the other side of the building way down in the dungeon,other than that, it was great,oh and the carts need brakes really bad too,especially the mattress carts,trying to get a mattress on one of those is a real chore,oh and now they come with the “cleaning fee increase in rent by $7/month,not during the height of covid but a year later,which is exactly the thing that made me move out,and nothing, I mean nothing is free,sorry to sound so whiny but y’all asked for my comments.

I have used the Fairfield Ave facility on many occasions for storage units, moving vans and supplies. Always impressed with Charlene's operation. Employees are efficient, and friendly.

Service was very sharp and helpful. employees here are VERY well trained, attentive and capable. We were accommodated by Kenny both in renting a cargo van and acquiring a storage unit and in the check in process returning the vehicle. Great, personable customer focus. Also their technology seamlessly mapping transactions to mobile phone are a great convenience and time-saver.

Initially when starting with UHaul the connection was not the best. I went to one UHaul in Bridgeport and they could not assist with tranfer to the correct location of UHaul in Bridgeport. With a family member we had to travel a long distance and go to UHaul at least twice to be able to get in to the unit as the covering employee had not been informed how to handle the situation. It was a rough start, but no problems as the time continued. I, nevertheless, would choose to go to this UHaul again, now being familiar with their set up

My only complaint, is that while switching units to the other side of the building, there were no ramps to get into the other side. Creating more than twice as much work. One cart turned into two carts and we had to reload up a couple stairs.

I was forced to call a locksmith for my own personal lock. The persons credentials were never checked. I'm sure there's not even a record of him arriving. I believe this is a racket and I was stolen from. Never ever rent here ; they are unsympathetic to mistakes for people already having a hard time.

Over priced for what you get. Other uhaul storage places are cheaper. Card reader doesnt work properly and takes multiple tries to work. Only rented out of emergency. Would not go back or recommend.
