Bettina L.The checkout process is absolutely terrible. There are way too many screens and I don't know how far I am from done. I have to enter information like my address multiple times. It takes forever. Lots of surprises, like how taking a photo of the front of my license is different than taking a photo of the back. Kill your darlings! And by darlings I mean the 45 separate screens of upsells. Also, your pricing is insanely deceptive. Somehow $20/day turns into $130 and I have absolutely no idea why, I just remember from every other time renting from you that the sticker price is completely untrustworthy - a judgement that I assume applies to everything from your company.

Andrea P.Staff was obviously poorly trained (or not trained at all). Items offered for sale in store are deliberately mis-priced such that the price is actually higher when you check out. And the most troubling issue is I returned my vehicle with more gas than I took it with and the staff somehow concluded it was 2 gallons low and collected another $10 in free money. This is flatly fraudulent. It's deceptive and every reason I need to report this practice to the AG's office, dispute the partial charge on my credit card and never EVER recommend this store to anyone I speak to. I've lived in this neighborhood for 7 years and it operates largely on word of mouth. Rent a truck or a storage spot anywhere you want…just don't come here. Great job!

This is my third time leasing a truck on this location. Even I exceed time of use as long as I return the equipment before the next customer, they don't charge me for the extra time. I will come back again when my daughter go back to university for the fall.
RICHARD V.While I had wonderful customer service from Heather and the people at Burnet Road's UHaul, I am struggling with UHaul.com. After canceling the “Precision Pack and Move†service online after they didn't show up, I have been emailing and calling UHaul on Tuesday and this morning to get refunded. I was charged for this service and I keep asking for my money back, or at least, a receipt showing that I will be refunded.

It kept telling her it was set up for both units but one unit incurred a late fee. But the staff was kind enough and refunded it. We still don't know what went wrong in trying to set up auto-pay for both units. Issues: Days before we were to move in, we verified that our unit was still available. But it wasn't held for us and so we had to get two storage units. We were given a discount, but we've calculated we paid $150 more than we would have if they hadn't given up our original storage unit. After only 3 months, our rent already went up! We were dependent on our contractor to move back in our house. It ended up that we only needed the storage unit one week into the renewal. We were again disappointed that we couldn't be partially reimbursed for the remaining three weeks. We realize we aren't talking about lots of money, but for us these additional expenses added up. Finally, when the moving company came to both move us in and then again move out our furniture the elevator stopped working! That was so stressful as we were not only paying them by the hour, but the first time they had to walk up the two flights of stairs. Luckily, the 2nd time the elevator was up and running in a relatively short time. So again we really appreciate all the help we were given, but we just can't give a high rating due to our reservation not being held, the cost of the units, and to the finicky elevator.

Glen T.Second time I used this location to rent a truck and this location remain excellent. The lady on the front desk was very nice with very good customer service skills. The gentleman that brought the truck outside was also nice. He helped me adjust the side mirror. All the equipment that I included on the rent (furniture dolly and furniture blanket) was already inside the truck when I took it. The truck was clean also. I would definitely come back to this location when my daughter finish here spring semester.

Sangchul H.When I arrived I realized I had reserved a van at a different location, even though I'd started out by going to this location's page. The team was able to provide me with a rental and cancel my mistaken reservation. They were so nice and helpful! It would be useful if the website alerted the user with a pop up message or something if the site is taking them to a listing of vehicles at another location due to availability I didn't notice that I was selecting a van elsewhere. Also last time I rented a van I was mistakenly charged for a toll fee that the previous driver must have incurred. There was no record of a toll charge for that van on that day when I called the toll organization. The issue was never resolved in spite of me calling uhaul billing. It was only a small charge but it's not okay that I was charged for something I didn't do.

I most recently cleared out a unit that I'd had for 2 years and I have only good things to say about this place and the people who run it. Everyone should get a raise!

KATHERYN B.The lady at the front desk was super nice. The truck was clean and the furniture pad that i rented was already inside the truck packed in plastic bags. I promised to return the equipment after 4 hours but it took me 6 hours to finish the move out. Half an hour before their office would close, the lady called me. She told me that if I could not finish that day, I could always return the equipment the next with no extra charge as long as I returned it before 10 am because the truck was booked by another customer at 10 am which was totally understandable. But I was able to return the equipment 5 minutes before their office close and she did not charge extra. I will definitely come back to this location on my daughter's next move in.
RICHARD V.The 10' truck we rented wasn't there. They ended up giving us an old, barely drivable 15' truck. This meant that it was only half filled which likely contributed to the shimmy and shake of the whole cab and steering wheel for our 19 hour drive. Plus, the cab leaked air so badly that it was impossible to talk without yelling (and we couldn't hear any music which makes an already terribly long drive that much longer). We have rented a 12' U-Haul truck from Denver and drove that back to Chicago a few years ago and there was no problem. This truck was AWFUL. And, even though we weren't charged for the larger truck at 8 and 9 mpg certainly we did pay for it in fuel!!!
PATRICK W.Honestly, I don't think there is anything that could be done to make my experience at this location any better. I've rented trucks many times over the last 35 years, and I've never had a truck this clean or a rental experience this positive. Online booking was simple. This location has owners on-site, and I met them when I picked up the truck. They could not have been nicer, more pleasant, or easier to deal with. This was a simple rental; just needed a truck to clean out a storage unit. But, when the time comes for my next major move, or any other rental, this is now my go-to location. The truck was the cleanest I've ever had; cleaner than many rental cars I've picked up at airports over the years. Equipment was preloaded, and they even put in some pads & a utility dolly that I didn't request. Check out was a breeze. Very pleasant young woman met me in the parking lot; said I could go inside for a printed receipt, or she would email one. Receipt was in my inbox before I got home & the charge was less than the estimate. Lots of Uhaul options in this area of Austin, some of which I've used in the past, but I will tell everyone I know that it would be worth coming to this location even if you live further away because you will be treated very well. Thank you to the owners.

I don't understand UHauls policy that you have to hire an outside locksmith- so ANYONE can just bring someone in to saw off a lock? Doesn't seem very secure. If this is not UHaul's policy, then employees should be on the same page. I called and was told 3 different things. I was told at another location that Uhaul would help me take it off for no cost but I would have to purchase a new lock. Thank goodness the locksmith I hired ended up being SO kind and taking off the lock for me free of charge because UHaul would not.
